[Rudeus's POV]

A disaster.

That's right, it's the perfect word to describe this atmosphere I am feeling, a total disaster.

"Where are you, you little brat!"

"Onii-chan~ Where are you~?"

I could hear the calls of the hungry and bloodthirsty beasts who were searching for me.

They are like two lionesses hunting for the same prey.

Right now, I am currently hiding under the table of a certain hallway.

"You! Have you seen him?!"

"No, not yet. I bet he is over there"

They are talking to each other and device a plan to find me.

A while ago they were fighting each other, but now they are working together with one goal in mind.

And that goal is to capture me.

Eris went to somewhere and left Rebecca on the hallway near my hiding spot.

"Onii-chan~ Come out, come out wherever you are~" She calls out to me with a playful yet unhinged tone.

'Why are you after me? I thought you were at my side!!'

"If you come out, I'll let touch my breast for a few minutes~" she perversely says as she rubs her chest.

'Like hell you will! You don't even have huge breast! Your breasts are just an A cup at best.'

"Hmm?" she then quizzically turns around to the direction on where I was.

'Oh shit! Did she just have heard my thoughts?'

She walks towards at the direction on the place where I was and stopped there. Then she scans the area for a while before dismissing it.

"Meh. Must be just the wind" She then shrugs and walks away from the area near my hiding spot, heading towards a corner on the distance.

'Phew~ That's a close one.'

I came out of hiding and I dusted my knees as I stood up.

"There you are, onii-chan~"

Rebecca then suddenly appears right behind me, impossibly sneaking at me.

"AAAAAAAAAAHH!!!" I screamed as I quickly run away from her.

"Hey! Come back here! Eris! I found him!"

"Go get him! Don't let him escape!"

"Yes!"

How the hell did this happen?! Why did I deserve this?!

[Third POV, an hour ago]

"HOW DARE YOU!"

"Yeah, that's more like it! COME AT ME!!"

The yells of the two young ladies resounds within the room, echoing throughout the mansion.

Like the roars of two ferocious lions, the two are fighting for supremacy and dominance.

Both of them clenches their fists while they are charging towards one another.

""AAAAAAARRRGGHHHHHH!""

They scream aggressively as they are both closing in, the two of them winds up their punches.

**Whoosh**

The two fists went flying towards each other, which are about to collide.

**POW**

However, the fists didn't hit their intended target.

"Would you two please stop fighting already!" the voice of a young boy scolds the two ladies in between them.

The boy in question is Rudeus who was covered with arms with his new earth magic [Stone Armor] and he caught the fists of Rebecca and Eris while being in between them.

""!!""

Rebecca and Eris were shocked to see Rudeus stop their frontal assault on one another in such a cool fashion.

Philip was intrigued of Rudeus quick thinking and his intervention at their supposed fight. He knew that if Rudeus didn't stop them from fighting, he could get in trouble and might get fired from his job.

"Hey, what's the meaning of this?!"

"Yeah, onii-chan! Why did you stop us?!"

The two ladies protested at Rudeus who steps in and cease their confrontation before it even started.

"Would you listen to me and stop fighting like a bunch of idiots" Rudeus reprimands them sharply.

""WHO ARE YOU CALLING AN IDIOT?!"" They yelled as they wind another punch and throws it at Rudeus.

"[Wind Blast]"

""Wah!""

Rudeus released the fists that he caught and cast a gust of wind that blows Rebecca and Eris away.

""Guh"" The two ladies hit the walls of two opposite end. They groan in pain as they tried to get up.

"ah" He realized his blunder when the two ladies glared at him as they unsteadily get up from the floor.

""Grrr""

'Oh shit'

""AAAAARGGH!!"" Rebecca and Eris screams at Rudeus and they charged at him.

'HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!'

As Rudeus is about to head to the door, Rebecca pounced in front of him. He then evaded Rebecca's pounce, sliding under her. He then rushed to the door while passing through Philip and the others.

*slam*

He then quickly opens the door and runs away from the room while being chased by Rebecca and Eris at the hallways.

"Get back here, you twerp!!"

"Onii-chan, you idiot! Get over here!!"

Rebecca and Eris demanded as they are pursuing their target, like two lionesses chasing a deer.

'Oh god! There's two of them now! Why do I feel a sense of deja vu right now?'

They already forgot the fight they had a while ago and set a new goal to capture Rudeus.

[Back to the Present]

After I losing those two, I went to the guest room, to which my huge surprise, Philip was there and as well as Rebecca who is chilling at the sofa.

'Wait? Why is she here? Is she supposed to be with Eris searching for me?'

"Umm, imouto-san...."

"Yes, onii-chan~ What is it?"

"Umm, where is Eris? She was with you a while ago, right?"

"Ah, I just left her at the hallways and went back to the guest room, she is probably still searching for you though"

"W-well, are you not going to capture me?"

"Do you want me to?"

"N-no... I just want to reassure if you will catch me and beat me up"

"Pfft~ Hahahahaha! What the heck was that, onii-chan? Of course not, I didn't chase you to beat you up, silly. I just chased you because I want see you run and hide, which I must say, is quite hilarious. You should have seen your face when screamed while you're running away, hahahaha" she hysterically laughs as she clutches at her sides and flailing her feet.

I just rolled my eyes at her mockery and turned my attention to Philip who was entertained by Rebecca teasing me.

"From what I can tell, I think your little sister is getting along with my daughter just fine." he smugly says to me while resting his chin with his hands.

"I guess so"

"Well, what will it be now, Rudeus? Do you want to give up?" he questions me mischievously.

"No. I will not give up. If I do, my father will just disappointingly laugh at me when I come home." I take my stand and state my decision. Rebecca smiled at me proudly at my decision.

"Oh? How admirable. I guess you will be taking this job seriously. However, it seems my daughter doesn't agree with you and Rebecca teaching her though." Philip compliments my stand and told me the predicament.

I look at Rebecca for confirmation if Eris really don't us to be her tutor. She noticed my gaze and she shrug her shoulders.

"Even though me and Eris were getting along quite fine, she doesn't approve of us being her tutor. So, persuading her is impossible for me. Sorry, onii-chan"

"It's fine, just leave this to me."

"As expected of onii-chan, how reliable" she brightly smiled at me, reaching her fist towards me, wanting me to fist bump it. I followed her intention and I fist bump her, making her beam even more.

*SLAM*

"Hey you! What are you doing there?! Have you found him already?!" Eris then barge in the guess room, which made me instinctively hide behind the sofa. She then asked Rebecca about my whereabouts.

"Nah, I haven't found him yet. I look over the place and couldn't find him. So, I took a break in the guess room for now and will continue to find him later" she convincingly lied to Eris, which defended me from being found out.

"Tch! Useless. I'll find myself and beat him up for his transgression, Hmmph." Eris haughtily denounced Rebecca and will try to find me on her own.

She then turns heels and walks to the exit. But before she leaves, she looks back.

"Hey you! What's yours and that brat's name?" Eris then asked for our name before leaving.

"Hmph, my name is Rebecca Greyrat and the brat you were talking about was my onii-chan, Rudeus Greyrat" Rebecca overbearingly introduced herself and mine's, which made Eris snorted in disdain.

"Hmph, very well then. Tell that brother of yours to give up in being my tutor. I have intention to listen to someone younger than me!" She arrogantly instructs Rebecca, which made snorts as well.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. I don't care. Just move on and find my brother already" Rebecca then shoos Eris away, making irritated and grumpily exits the door, slamming it shut in the process.

*SLAM*

*sigh* "See, onii-chan. She's troublesome to deal with. Such a pain" Rebecca tiredly says as she slouches at the sofa, making Philip's brow to twitch.

I noticed him twitch and prompted Rebecca to seat properly and she followed me. Then I also seated next to Rebecca and faced Philip.

'So, Rudeus. Since my daughter said it herself that she doesn't want to be your tutor. What will your plan to convince her to get her approval?" Philip inquires for my decision, which I started to contemplate.

Let's see. Since Rebecca couldn't convinced Eris, using her is not an option. So, it's up to himself to convince her trust in allowing us to be her tutor.

Hmmm... I could fight Eris myself with magic, but seeing her aggressiveness and rage made me reconsider not doing it. Even with my [Stone Armor], I don't think I can last long and I can't heal myself without incantation. I could solve that by allowing Rebecca to assist me in battling her, but I don't want to risk Eris's trust on Rebecca.

So, my only option is....

"How about we prompt a fake kidnapping" I nonchalantly said my suggestion, making Rebecca and Philip to frown and raise their brows.

""Explain, Rudeus/ Onii-chan"" both Rebecca and Philip demand me to explain my suggestion.

"My plan is to prompt pretend kidnapping, which includes me and Eris to be taken by people acting as kidnappers. Then they will put us in a pretend kidnapping den and I will break out with Eris, showing her magic and teaching her how to read and count money. This will motivate Eris to learn as well as earning her trust on me." I explained the plan to the two persons in the room.

"I see how it is, that sounds like a good plan."

"Oh, as expected of onii-chan, that's quite genius"

They approved as they nodded in understanding and agreement.

*SLAM*

The door slams open again and Eris came back at the second time.

I tried going behind the couch again to hide.

"YOU! I saw you there! There's no use hiding, brat!" I shudder from Eris finding out my hiding spot.

I then tried my second option and use Rebecca as a human shield and hide behind her.

"You know, onii-chan. I could give you to Eris anytime I want if you use me as a shield" I shuddered again when Rebecca threatens me for using her as cover.

I meekly stand up and endure the predatorial gaze of Eris.

'Please don't kill me, please don't kill me, please don't kill me'

"You two! Ghislaine says she's about to start her sword training! Go over to the courtyard and don't be late! Hmph" Eris directly stated her instruction to come at the sword training with Ghislaine.

Then she turns heels and walk to the exit, leaving the room immediately.

*SLAM*

'Phew~ That's a close one. I thought I was going to die.'

"Well, you heard her. You can go now and follow her instructions. I will handle the plan you suggest and inform you when the preparation is finished." Philip prompts us to exit the room and let him handle the preparation.

I nodded and I looked at Rebecca.

"Let's go, Rebecca. Ghislaine is waiting for us"

"Yes"

We bowed at Philip with the noble greeting and excuse ourselves from the room.

...

"I almost forgot to ask you, Rebecca"

"Hmm?"

"When you were chasing me, why haven't you used your battle aura to chase me faster or even use north god style to track me down?"

"Do you want me to?"

"N-no, it's just weird that you just chased and searched for me normally and didn't actually went all out"

"Well, you see.... I just want to challenge myself. It's just too easy if I used my battle aura and north god style to capture you."

"I see.... Then how about that time when you disappeared at a corner and suddenly appeared behind my back. How did you do that?" I asked her the moment when she suddenly teleported behind me, which puzzles me.

"Wait what, I did what now? I never remember doing that before" she flat out says it as if I am saying a tall tale.

"Huh?"

'Wait? she doesn't remember doing it? But I saw her appearing behind me. She even talked to me even though she sounds a bit of. But still....'

"Hmm, what's wrong, onii-chan?" as I am contemplating, Rebecca concernedly asked my condition.

"It's n-nothing"

'What was that? That's weird. Is Rebecca really, okay?'

[Rebecca's POV]

Me and onii-chan went to the courtyard where Eris and Ghislaine were.

It took us a while to find the courtyard was, so we asked the maids of the mansion and pointed us its location.

When we arrived at the courtyard, Eris and Ghislaine is waiting for us with training armor and wooden swords at hand.

"You're late, you brats!" Eris haughtily disdains us

"Oh, I'm sorry. You didn't point us where the courtyard was, so it took us a bit of time to figure out where it is" I return the arrogance with mine as I rebuke her.

A vein pops up at Eris's forehead when I talked back to her and she gripped the wooden sword at her hand.

She then starts charging at us and readying her sword. Then she swings her sword, aiming for both me and onii-chan.

So, I pushed onii-chan out of the away and I move back to dodge Eris's sword swing.

"Ho? You dodged my attack?" Eris was surprised that I evaded her attack.

"Naturally, your sword swing is kind of slow" I nonchalantly told her, insulting her in the process.

Another vein pops up and she prepares another swing.

"Don't get cocky, brat! You don't even have a sword with you!"

"Oh? was that a challenge? Very well then, try hitting me without me using my hands" I said to her as I put my hands in my pockets and rely only on my footwork.

She becomes more agitated and she swings her sword vertically

*Whoosh*

I sidestepped to my left and smugly smirks at Eris, which frustrates her.

She then swings her wildly at me, but due to my long experience of sword training, I can predict the trajectory of Eris's swings.

*whoosh* *whoosh* *whoosh*

With masterful footwork and agile dodges, I evaded most of Eris's attacks.

"Your sword swings are unfocused and predictable. Try controlling your strength of your arms and focusing your strikes at your target" I lectured Eris on her weak points and tried to solve it for her.

"SHUT UP! You don't have permission to lecture me, brat!" Eris decides to ignore my advice and continues to swing frantically.

*whoosh* *whoosh* *whoosh* *whoosh* *whoosh*

Again, I evade her predictable swings with absolute ease and dance my way through her unfocused barrage attacks.

"Grrrr! Stand still, you slippery rascal!!" She angrily scorns at my mockery towards her.

"Why would I do that? That defeats the purpose of evading your attacks." I indifferently dismissed her demands and carry on with the evasion of her attacks.

I then noticed her unsteady and improper footwork.

"Oi! Fix your footwork, Eris. It's not properly executed and were all wrong. Pay attention to where you position your feet when moving forward" I pointed out her wrong footwork.

"I SAID SHUT UP! I don't want to be lectured by someone younger than me!" Eris is in denial I lectured her again. Damn, this girl is troublesome to reason with.

"Well, this someone you're talking about had lectured her older brother once and he seems fine with it. Am I right, onii-chan?" I said as I took a glance at onii-chan who is standing next to Ghislaine.

"You got it right, imouto-san~" he happily confirms me as he raises his thumb up. I proudly smiled at his cheerful response.

"Tch, so what! You brats are younger than me and you should be weaker because I am much older than you." Eris tells her assumption of skills through age. What an idiot of her to assume it like that.

"It is not a matter of age that determines the capabilities of a person, but rather it is the matter of dedication and experience to strive forward and work hard to become stronger. That is what makes a person a more capable fighter than anyone else, remember that." I proudly told my deep honest thoughts to Eris who is grimacing with frustration because someone younger than her is teaching her the values of experience and dedication towards swordsmanship.

This made Eris speechless because couldn't say anything to rebuke Rebecca's statement.

[Ghislaine's POV]

While Eris ojou-sama and Rebecca are fighting, I am watching the whole thing from the start.

I am quite impressed of Rebecca's mastery in her footwork and her agility is amazingly fast.

The way she dodges and evades are excellently executed.

She even points out ojou-sama's weak points, which I also noticed, and she immediately thought of a solution for each of it.

Did Paul really teach this child?

The way she teaches ojou-sama is on par with Paul or even better than him.

She doesn't even a sword with her and she still has the upper hand.

Paul, what have you done to this child? Why is she so proficient about swordsmanship without even trying.

"There she goes, hahaha. As expected of my little sister" I then turn my attention to the boy on my side.

He is the older brother of Rebecca.

From what I have heard from Paul, Rebecca is the one teaching Rudeus swordsmanship other than him.

Someone younger than Rudeus is teaching the sword is not an easy feat and I respect that.

"Rudeus" I call out to boy besides me and he noticed me calling him.

"What's up, Ghislaine?"

"Your sister.... How great is she?" I asked Rudeus on how capable Rebecca really is.

"Ah, that. You see, Rebecca has been training swordsmanship since she was three years old"

That's too early. I normal child won't able to handle such rigorous training in such a young age.

"That's quite early for her, don't you think. Why would Paul train her too early?"

"Nope. She's the one who asked father to teach her how to use the sword. Ever since then, she mastered all three swords style at advance rank in just two years."

Incredible... I never knew that a small child would have such learning speed and fighting capabilities in such a short amount of time.

Also, she mastered all three of the sword styles up to advance rank?

Did Paul actually had taught this child swordsmanship?

How interesting.

"It is not a matter of age that determines the capabilities of a person, but rather it is the matter of dedication and experience to strive forward and working hard to become stronger. That is what makes a person a more capable fighter than anyone else, remember that."

That's what Rebecca said to Eris ojou-sama, which caught my attention.

Even though I do not understand what she meant.

However, I feel her words held so much wisdom.

As if she had so much experience that a normal child won't have.

What is she actually? Is she even human?

I don't know, so I will press that matter for now.

[Rebecca's POV]

Fufufu, that noble lady doesn't know what just hit her.

I kept dodging her pathetic sword strikes for hour now,

and oh boy, she's completely drenched in sweats and completely fatigue after she aimlessly swinging her sword to the point of exhaustion.

She really won't listen to a word I just said and just angrily failing her arms around like madman.

*sigh*

This what happens when her parents were being negligent to their daughter's behavior,

or perhaps, it because she has an overbearing and intimating grandfather, she copied his demeanor and personalities, which results her violent tendencies. Maybe it's that, it would make a lot of sense if that's the case.

Welp, I think my job here is done.

She's completely out for the count and just laying down on the courtyard ground.

I walk away from the unconscious Eris, which Ghislaine picked up, and walk towards onii-chan.

"And that's how you dominate a violent mad lion, onii-chan. Fufufufu" I conceitedly boasted to my big brother, which he reacts with a wry smile.

"You know, you don't have to antagonize Eris that much. She'll just going to keep on trying to hit you when there's an opportunity." he tried to reason with me to stop annoying Eris.

"I would be more surprise if she doesn't try to hit me, and besides, it would be amazingly challenging if she really comes at me and takes a swing when I less expected it." I said as I viciously grinned, which made onii-chan perplex.

I never expected I would say that, but meh, it doesn't bother me for now.

We then were guided to our new bedroom. Philip-sama provided separate rooms for me and onii-chan.

That really sucks and inconvenient for me because how will I make sure that onii-chan is okay in his room.

Should I visit him once and while to check on him, or~ I will secretly make a small hole on the wall to take a peek on him instead.

Wait?! No! What the hell! Why would I do the latter one? Why did I even think of that?

That's strange, how did I even think of that way in the first place.

Hmmm...

Oh well, I will just dismiss the latter choice and will do the former one instead.

Anyway, moving on from my contemplation, I entered my new room and properly put my stuff aside, which includes my clothes, undergarment and my sword, [Night Sky Sword].

I then dive myself to the bed and lay down, releasing all of my stress I had a while ago.

Damn, my body is aching a bit from the sword fight me and Eris had earlier.

Well, it is more like sword dodging at that point because I haven't grabbed a wooden sword throughout that exchange.

My body ache from moving around too much, and even with battle aura, I feel a slight pain when her sword strikes occasionally hit me.

I don't know if either my battle aura is not that great, or she is actually strong as she said.

Either way doesn't matter because I will just make myself stronger and will have one step ahead of her.

On the other note, I might as well visit onii-chan for a bit.

I got up from the bed and walk towards the door.

*creak*

When I opened the door and got out of the room, I then felt a presence.

I turned to my right and saw someone standing on the end of the hall.

It's Eris and she visibly pissed.

Oh? She's done holding a grudge, huh?

She then sprints towards me with top speed, and then, she tried to drop kick me.

I easily avoided the kick and she landed miserably.

"You're still not done with your grudges, huh?"

"Shut up! I will definitely hit you!"

"Hmph, even if you hit me, your attack won't hurt me one bit"

"Don't get cocky just because you can dodge my attacks"

I snorted at her and glared at her intimidatingly as I do my usual pose.

She shudders when she saw my intimidating gaze and runs away from me.

'Oh look, someone is being a coward. How cute.'

Oh well, now that's settles it, I will visit onii-chan now.

[Eris's POV]

Those eyes....

What the hell are those eyes she had.

It's not the usual blue colored eyes when she glared at me.

It's terrifying and bizarre, as if I am looking at a monster in disguise.

Who the hell are you, brat?! And why are you in my household?

I thought while I shivering in fear as I am remembering the color of the eyes she has.

It's golden yellow....
