Chapter 18: Despair and Hope Falls

~Third POV~

After the events that have happened in Hopes Peak Academy were evacuated for the day and have had the students of the Academy be sent home for the remaining time for the school to be investigated.

The students in question were not allowed to attend till everything have settled down for a bit.

That brought some of the students a bit disappointed that they can't meet up but also some are glad as to not attend for personal reasons of disliking schools.

Currently, everything was going on a normal day in Danganronpa like any ordinary day…

As for the MC Alex, he was currently relaxing in a one-year rented penthouse in a building that his enjoying the food of this country of another world.

Alex was enjoying a large amount of money he stole using the Steering Committee money as he sees fit as he used his talent to get it.

Tapping into the skills of the [Ultimate Programmer], [Ultimate Analyst], [Ultimate Hacker], and [Observation Haki] to predict into the future was an easy thing to do once Alex uses them all together.

Even though his Haki wasn't much of an improvement from the experiment but it did make unlocking his advanced technique of the observation into the next step Future Vision.

How could he have unlocked it this early?

Simple it was because of the [Ultimate Analyst] from his [Ultimate Hope] Alex has gained the same abilities of Junko Enoshima ability.

Junko's true talent allows her to quickly analyze her surroundings with near superhuman speed, detailed thinking, and memorization.

This ability also allows her to learn and understand new skills and talents by just seeing/studying it once, seeing as how she was able to learn all the necessary techniques of how to create a brainwashing video from observing Ryota Mitarai, learn how to create her own A.I from studying Chihiro Fujisaki's work, and later figured out and perfected a method to selectively erase a specific set of someone's memory perfectly after stealing Yasuke Matsuda's research and her having also possibly obtained other talents/skills during her time studying in Hope's Peak.

This ability is also what gave Junko her title as the [Ultimate Fashionista] due to her being able to predict trends, allowing Junko to literally predict what would become popular with society.

With this specific ability having been vital in her setting off The Tragedy of Hope's Peak Academy, predict and manipulate the reactions of the Reserve Course Students that lead to the 'The Parade' and set off and manipulate the events that lead to 'The Tragedy' into becoming a full-blown Global event/movement.

This talent gives her an excellent ability to make very detailed plans in a short amount of time. She is also excellent at reading and thus manipulating others.

She can often predict what a person is going to do before they do it - an ability she can use to defeat opponents much stronger than her.

It is also this ability that threw her into boredom since she was able to accurately guess how events would play out; this fueled her love of despair as an 'unknown'.

Because it allows a normal human-like Junko to accomplish this near superhuman speed she can predict what will come.

But in Alex's case, this talent alone was what made his [Observation Haki] go into the next step to see into the future for 15 seconds with his own superhuman strength.

That was how Alex figured out which steps were needed to get full access into the Steering Committee accounts into his private one and left a program that was untraceable.

Currently, Alex used his future vision as he got ready a homemade style pizza turning on the screen able to easily translate the language as he puts his hands together rubbing them evil of what he saw next as he prepares a meal using his talents…

~Alex POV~

Ah…

The day of justice and judgment has come.

Turning on the tv in the penthouse with my whole pizza I enjoy the fruits of my labor.

"Click."

Seeing on the news about Hopes Peak Academy was when they changed everything as it shows the Steering Committee makes a public announcement, "Hello to everyone we of the Steering Committee would like a formal public apology…"

Oh boy, now it's time to go for the best part!

Listening in and viewing on the tv screen the four of them began to discuss in great detail the true purpose of Hopes Peak Academy that it was a place that had the sole purpose of studying the talented students to create an artificial hope.

They went into great detail as I took another slice of pizza about how they use the Reserve Course students as cash cows and how corrupt their organization was to use live students to perform human experiments.

They also discussed how they created one that they had everything in their control only to have their test subject go berserk destroying the secret chamber to create the ultimate humans as the scientist in the area have died in the explosion.

I may have tampered with their memories a bit on that one since I needed to have a reason for the explosion to have happened and also needed to eliminate the minds of the people who had any idea about the experiment.

Hey, they needed a reason I just gave them a likely one.

But that was when they go over the details of how they hid the murder to one of the ultimate's sisters belonging to a crime boss mafia or I guess yakuza that had to happen in the Reverse Course school.

Looking up the internet it was a cyberwar now with the comments of the truth being heard from the members of scientists and faculty members hearing this.

But that was when someone was trying to erase the truth of the comments.

Taking another slice of pizza into my mouth I began typing preventing the person who wanted the people not to listen in to the comments that put Hopes Peak Academy in a bad light, and I intend to keep it that way.

Smiling seeing that the person who wanted to stop the negativity of the school was snuffed out for the time being I return to seeing the tv as the Steering Committee were discussing all the wrong deeds they have done previously before becoming the leader of the school.

Have to say Justice is served tonight as they all brought out pistols placing them in their mouths but before they pulled the trigger they left a warning to everyone about me, "But… whatever you do… beware of what we created that student… his no Hope nor Despair… his the [Ultimate Chaos]… BANG!"

Now that wasn't ominous as hell.

But really not a concern considering his words sure they'll try to find the student but that is near impossible to be done.

Plus, it will only be a matter of time before Hopes Peak Academy is demolished or destroyed by the public hearing the news now this would be a good time to relax after I take care of a single duo first.

For now, though I have something else that is relatively as important as destroying Hopes Peak Academy.

Turning off the Tv and finishing my homemade pizza…

Ah… pizza I really like it…

Wait I'm getting sidetrack here quickly flashing over into a different change of clothing into something more comfortable I quickly made a flash towards the sky waiting on the building in front of an airplane station in Japan.

Time for me to snipe down Junko and her sister.

Bringing out a pistol I got from the security guards in Hopes Peak secret lab I aimed it carefully at the entrance of the gate.

I was simply waiting for a certain despairing sister to come over as I hid my presence to ensure the best possible, I can get to kill Junko.

How I know of this was from the anime despair arc episode 6 Junko would've come regardless of what happed but with my [Ultimate Hope] tapping into the talent of [Ultimate Analysis] I can assuredly say she will come.

Coming up with multiple scenarios with my future vision and pushing my brain to process it quickly with my Devil Fruit.

The results were that she will come here the majority of chances to see what the hell happened herself as she is way too curious to know what happened.

And as for extra insurance, I used the talent of Hagakure the [Ultimate Clairvoyant].

As the [Ultimate Clairvoyant], Yasuhiro is supposed to have amazing clairvoyance powers.

Despite this, Yasuhiro's powers only have a 30% success rate. Though, considering the low success rates of fortune-tellers, 30% is not terrible.

Interestingly, while often ambiguous, Yasuhiro really does possess real supernatural future-telling skills, though not entirely accurate.

In Ultra Despair Hagakure, it's explained that he can see what appears to be rather detailed visions of possible future events, though they do not usually come true.

This is true whenever he does a prediction it will come true in a different sense despite how bizarre that might be it will come true under different circumstances.

An example of this is when at the beginning of Chapter 4 in the first game, Yasuhiro predicts that Kiyotaka's and Hifumi's deaths were the final murders committed during the Killing School Life, which turns out to be true as the remaining deaths were self-inflicted.

Or when he also predicts that he and Makoto's children will share the same mother, and this becomes true in the bad ending, as Aoi is the mother of both of their children.

His powers are honestly quite scary to have around I bet it will happen when he tries to find me if requested but only if I do certain actions that will allow him to do so no concern just act completely normal like a neet or otaku then I'm good.

With my [Ultimate Hope] I can only see about 50% of possible outcomes happening in the future that will happen although not accurate with my future vision and [Ultimate Analyst] I can get a bigger picture of what is the scene from viewing it and guesses to my assumption.

Either way that was how I knew she would come here with a very high chance with my skills to see the future.

Plus, she will no doubt that someone like her would notice the contradiction like me to exist once she lays her eyes on me.

Despite how strong I am I will not have her have a chance to formulate a plan to kill or brainwash me to Despair.

Fuck that shit.

Pointing my gun charged with electricity I see a malicious aura coming down to land as I sense two people on board that are insane and obedient.

Carefully waiting for my chance, I see that a few minutes have passed, and sensing with my [Observation Haki] I can clearly see that Junko and Mukuro getting out.

Not taking any chances with them I shot at full power to instantly kill them on the spot before they could even react accordingly.

Even with Junko [Ultimate Analyst] talent not even she is immune to be killed like this after all I'm the only superhuman around and she is a normal human.

Ehh…

Scratch that an insane talented smart person.

That was when I got a mission from the system to my joy.

But the next stop I should go to is Towa City I have a few kids to save and punish a lot of adults in the process.
