Within 30 minutes of me taking the pill I've opened up nine of my meridians and I'm ready to move from the Qi Gathering to Qi condensation realm. But then I remember from one of my online novels that I read that there is supposed to be 12 meridians. So I searched my body and find the three hidden meridians and open them to. That took me another 30 minutes but once I finish I feel are the remaining Essence from the pill and some external essence Rush in to my Dantian then Gather into a big ball of mist. Another hour later and I stabilize my cultivation Making me a Qi condensation stage one cultivator. I open my eyes letting out and breath foul air as a dim golden light flashes across my baby blue eyes I stand up and my body crackles.

Looking around truly taking in my surroundings for the first time I'm not just on top of it to dilapidated building on top of dilapidated skyscraper in the middle of the downtown area some of the buildings around me have collapsed and Fallen over. And there is plants growing up over some other buildings the sky is a sickly grayish red. I get a big smile on my face and throw my hands up in the air and yell.

And then I get the piss scared out of me is a massive deafening Roar replies back. I instantly shrink back thinking to myself what the fuck was that and promising to stay quiet from here on out. As soon as I do as she says a one-piece jet black suit that looks like Batman armor sort of appears on my body I pull out one of the guns from the jet black holsters to see what I think is it blood red Desert Eagle I put it back and pull out my Katana from its jet black scabbard the handle is a jet black but the blade is blood red. I put the Katana back into its Scabbard.

I say as I open the map function on my phone that is attached to my arm. Instantly the map changes from where I am to a walled settlement several miles outside of town.

" this is the biggest one in the area master."

" That'll do wifey that'll do. Now then no time like the present to find out how hard flying is."

I run to the edge of the building and jump of instantly I remember how much I'm afraid of heights and I can feel my balls in my own throat. On instinct out of fear my wings start to unfold and flap. Calming down as I start to stabilize myself in the air I start laughing like a mad man thinking I will never have to fear heights again. I then look to my map and start flying towards the settlement.

I noticed as I'm flying out of the city that they are zombies and other creatures everywhere in the city. if I didn't have wings I definitely would die. But as soon as I get outside of the downtown area the monsters decrease rapidly in numbers.

About a mile away from the settlement I land and use my ability miner shapeshift to retract my horns tail and wings. I also make my skin a perfect Asian white. Putting on my cloak I start walking I get no more then 15 feet when a zombie comes stumbling out of a house. I pull out my Katana decapitating the zombie with practice e's thinking about how I told my granny to stop being old fashioned and making me practice kendo and severely other types of Marshall arts because I would never really need them in the current age and time. I flick the gore from the blade re sheathing it as I chuckle and bow to the heavens and say.

"Thank you old hag for being such a hard ass trainer. But I would still never sleep with your old ugly ass."

Then I continue my walk killing zombies that get to close about a quarter mile tell the settlement I stop running into zombies and I see a couple patrol of 8 to ten people walking around they don't bother me at all so I quickly make it to the wall and I see massive guns every ten feet on the top of the walls. Then when I make it to the gate there's a small line and the people letting people in are in what look like small mech suit's. Like from the game. I get in line like everyone else. When it's my turn the gate guard asks me questions while inspecting me.

" please pulldown your hood and what's your name purpose for visiting and length of stay."

I pull my hood down and as I do he sees in side my cloak and raises an eyebrow.

"my name is seven and I'm just travelling the world looking for a place to settle down. I cam across this settlement I figured I could get some food and a good night's rest in a real bed. If you could recommend a cheap place that would be greatly appreciated."

"O I see. This is jump town so just don't kill or steal in the settlement we pride are self's on being the safest and most fair trading settlement around. And the only punishment for breaking the rules is death by putting a rope around your neck and making you jump off the wall. Other then that try the fat mermaid it's a nice cheap inn with good food. It's on mane street just keep walking you cant miss it."

He replies gesturing for me to walk in through the gate. I put my hood back up as I walk in to jump town. It's a pretty big place there has to be at least several thousand people who live here. Under my hood I'm gawking around like a school boy and nerd Convention I see robots. hover bikes and all sorts of teck I have never seen before and then the people are a mix up of all sorts of races from cyclops's to what looks like gnomes and a shop I just passed had a big sign about artificial limbs. The big thing I noticed is that everything is purchased with these things called the monster cores.

I walk around for a couple hours just observing everything in this time I found out the currency is three types of monsters cores small medium and large. 100 small cores equals one medium core 100 medium cores equals one large. All the monster cores are the size of a pinky nail it's just the amount of energy that's within them small cores are see-through black medium cores are light black and large are jet black. Also people take food in exchange for most everything depending on the quality of food. Mostly people want something called protein gel that from what I have found out is odorless and tasteless and doesn't go bad. But fresh meat is worth the most and people would sell there own kin to get some good fresh meat.

So now I find myself walking into a store that buys and sells food. I had Sona spend my last gold on canned beef I got 2000 cans. I walk up to the cashier who Is behind a bulletproof glass. I waited tell no one was in the store first so no one will see my goods. I put one can on the countertop and ask.

The cashier looks at my funny but takes the unlabeled can and puts it in a scanning machine behind him. After a minute it dings and his jaw drops at what he sees. Then he turns to me with a ass kissing smile.

I pull out the other four from inside of my cloak and set them on the countertop.

Without saying anything I take the cores and leave. Once out side I ask.
