Chapter 6 - Story Telling

The song intro was very catchy and coupled with the instruments and choir, it became even more epic.

Then finally, Cryd started singing, despite his childish voice his way of delivering the song is unique and fitted to the song.

"Let's start a new life from the darkness

Until the light reveals the end

Fear, hatred, sorrow, desperation

With the song playing, the fancy birthday party turned into a real party, kids jumping along with the song and adults are dancing along.

This song is called "My War" the Attack on Titan theme of season uh… he forgot, the song isn't suited for this kind of party but since it was a request from his sister.

Cryd sang it as best as he could, it wasn't simple to sing because there was the different language part and Cryd really haven't learned that language but he still remembers the lyrics though.

Meanwhile, the orchestra and the choir were very amazed, at first, they thought it would be just a simple song since the way Cryd thought it is easy understandable which made the preparation only last for 10 minutes.

And on that time Cryd didn't let them llay together instead taught then group by group, even them who have played songs for the longest didnt think that it would be this epic when played together!

"War, war, war!"

Cryd ended the song with a powerful and he couldn't help but pose when the song finally finished, sure it was ebrassing but singing the song was very exhilarating, he was already sweating very hard and is panting hard.

'I had Eren flashbacks there'

Cryd sighed inside his mind as he was drowned with claps from the crowd who were listening to him, even the orchestra couldn't help but clap along amazed by his talent.

Cryd bowed at them and then finally left the stage, he felt very tired, he sat at a nearby chair and rested, but before he could even relax, 4 girls barged into the room he was resting and they all had smile on their faces as they run towards him.

"Brother!"

Nagi lunged herself towards him, Cryd who was sitting immediately stood up to catch her.

"Hey! I told you dont do that! Its dangerous!"

Cryd immediately scolded her but Nagi only put her tongue out and said.

"I know you are going to catch me so its safe"

Cryd sighed and patted her head, then Nagi buried her head on his chest and softly said.

"Onii-chan, I really enjoyed my birthday, Thank you"

Cryd smiled and kissed her on the forehead.

"Everything for you princess"

The other 3 then arrived and started praising his talents in music, they really loved his song and everyone took a few minutes before they calmed down from the festive atmosphere.

Certainly, it was a very enjoyable party, everyone then sat on the sofa and started to each other and it only took a few moments before they all fell asleep.

Cryd sighed as he saw these energetic creatures finally falling into exhaustion.

"Kids are certainly energetic"

Cryd looked up at the ceiling and couldn't help but think of the events that happened for the past few years that he was here.

"Yeah, I'm slowly getting towards my dream"

All of the things he have done until now is to build his foundation solidily, he knew many challenges will come into the future and he must not do things half-heartedly.

He remembered a saying that if you are dead set on the path you are taking, most difficult challenges will appear when you least expect so you have to be prepared whenever.

And to this quote, Cryd can confidently say that he was more than ready.

After finally getting enough rest, Cryd called up some servants to put the sleeping kids to some proper room, while he made his way back to the party room.

Opening the door, Cryd immediately got the attention of all the people inside, the kids has already gone home so the only ones left were the adults wjo came here for business.

Cryd stood beside his grandfather who coughed and immediately went to the point then loudly announced.

"I announce Cryd Sanzenin as the heir of the Sanzenin Family and will own all of its assets and will be the head, it will have immediate effect the moment I retire or something happened to me"

Immediately after his announcement, the crowd cheered, clearly they already expected this, they just didn't know when.

And since it was announced today, except for some a little surprise that it was announced today.

After that Cryd started talking with the adults and they were surprised by how mature the kid was, he can hold a conversation very well and when he is uncomfortable with a question, he will decisively change the topic.

All in all, their first impression of him is that he wasn't only a genius but also crafty like his grandfather, maybe when he grow up, he will be the one they should avoid angering the most.

Soon, the party has ended and everyone finally went home. Cryd finally had the time to rest and put this exhausting day to rest..

Morning Cryd woke up, he looked at the time and knew he slept for 8 hours, the recommended time for a person to sleep, usually he sleeps for 6 - 7 hours.

What's the difference? 

Nothing! There was no difference! He still feels tired when he woke up, Stretching his stiff body Cryd washed his face.

Today, he had nothing to do but he still wakes up early, he changed his clothes to jogging pants and rubber shoes coupled with a white shirt and a hoodie.

Cryd then left the mansion and started his daily jog, no matter how late or ealry he wakes up, Cryd never missed his early jog.

He jogs about 5 to 8 kilometers everyday, then after that, he does yoga and meditation, in the afternoon, he goes to his personal gym and stay there for 2 to 3 hours, and after that, he will receive reports from Minano about the progress of his company.

As of now, he has about 40 employees but they are mostly in charge of taking care of the bookstore and the rest are people who do the printing job.

In the evening, Cryd spends all of it with his family, all works are dropped, no matter how important it is.

It has become a rule in the Senzanin family, and even his grandfather was not spared.

Today, they will be reading the book that Nagi received on her birthday.

It was the boy, the mole, the fox and the horse. Since their grandpa has a deep voice and has a good way of interpreting emotions when telling a story, he was the story teller.

The story started with a boy sitting on a field of snow with no one with him, the boy was looking around.

Then from the ground just beside him, the snow started bulking up until a mole popped out.

"Well…Hello!"

The mole greeted the boy.

"...Hi"

The boy greeted back.

"What are you doing here?"

Asked the mole.

"I'm lost"

Replied the boy.

The stort was slowly read by their grandpa, by how engaged Nagi was into the story, they immediately knew that she loved it, but Cryd didnt know that even his grandpa was engaged to the story.

There were some of the conversations that were deep but can be understood very easily.

"What do you want to be when you grow up?"

Asked the mole.

"...Kind"

Replied the boy.

Just this conversation alone sent some kind energy in his bosy when he read it, it was as if memories from his past flashed by his eyes.

Then he couldn't help but look at his grandchildren.

It was such an innocent answer from the story but to be a kind person is very difficult because of how the world works, but he hopes that they will grow up to be kind.

To him who lost his son and only left with grandchildren, he already has learnt his lessons.

Soon they have finished the story and Nagi enjoyed it very much, but there are somethings she didnt understand but nonetheless, she felt like this kind of book must be shared to everyone.

And so after talking with her brother, they agreed to release it in his bookstore and since it was now Nagi's since it was gifted to her, she will get all of the sales of rhe book.

Nagi didn't really mind about the sales but she still accepted it.

(I changed something from the chapter 3 which was the 3 stories he wrote, Love is war which conflicts with Kaguya a character who was introduced last vhapter and so to avoid this, I changed it to clannad)
