Chapter 5- Performance

Soon, it was time to eat, the kids are already eating their food and since it was made from a totsuki graduates, the food is extremely delicious.

The adults started to socialize with each other, trying to get more ties from the big ones, and one of their targets to gain a powerful foothold is the heir of the Sanzenin.

Cryd Sanzenin.

Despite being 9 years old, he was already known as the heir of the Sanzenin family, he was also considered a genius and one of the new rumors is that he already started his company at a young age.

While eating, Cryd was thinking of what song should he play, should he go for another orchestra song? Or a solo piano song? There are a lot of songs from his past life that is suitable for this kind of event.

But he wanted to sing the best for now, he doesn't really have to hide things as he was already called a genius and he has the Sanzenin Family written in gold on top of his head.

In other words, he was privileged as f*ck, something that he didn't have from his past life, anyway, back to thinking about songs, since he was in japan, he must sing japanese songs, "Her Theme" did not have any lyrics so it wasn't a problem.

Yes, Cryd just decided to sing himself, this is only a time thing right? It wont be a problem.

Just as he was thinking, a figure punced towards him, and hugged him tightly, then wrapped their arms around his neck.

"I finally found you!"

Cyd was surprised at first but immediately calmed down after he recognized who it was.

"That was dangerous Alice, you shouldn't surprise me like that"

Cryd scolded her in a low voice.

"Its your fault you know! We were looking for you everywhere!"

Alice said with a big pout, following behind her, Erina was also there with a pout on her face.

Seeing their cute pouting faces, Cryd just sighed and smiled, then gave both of them a pat on the head.

"Hehe, just because you pat me on the head doesn't we forgive you alright! Hehe"

Alice said with the opposite expression on her face, Erina also nodded along.

They look like cats purring for him.

"Hoho, it's good that you kids are getting along"

The three then suddenly heard a loud voice and when they looked up, they saw Cryd's grandfather with the 2 old men.

Then Cryd noticed a girl just beside Go Shinomiya, she has black hair and red eyes, she looks cute.

The two girls also noticed her and was quite curious, seeing their curious faces, the girl felt a pat on her back and immediately stepped forward.

"Its pleasure to meet you everyone, My name is Shinomiya Kaguya, I am 8 years old this year"

She introduced herself.

Cryd immediately recognized her, just like him, she also holds the title of a genius, the princess of Shinmiya Group.

But well, if they compare her to him, then she falls behind by a huge gap.

"Its nice to meet you Kaguya-chan!"

As energetic as ever, Alice there herself in first and made Kaguya comfortable with them, they also introduced themselves to each other and started talking with each other.

Kaguya is a friendly kid and got along with the three of them, but she is a little bit too mature for her age.

A few moments later, Nagi who just finished talking with th visitors joined them and unlike when the Nakiri girls met her, which was cold and didn't even bother talking with them.

Nagi is very friendly and socialized with the two of them, even Kaguya was brought in, Cryd let the girls talk to each other as he didnt really have anything interesting to talk with them.

And instead focused on remembering the lyrics of the songs he will sing later.

After they finished their dinner, the guests then started presenting their gifts, Nagi gratefully accepted each of them.

Most of the people here are fairly rich and so their gifts were either expensive or has a cerain value.

Even Erina and Alice gave expensive ones, Kaguya also gifted Nagi a ring with a big shining stone, it must have costed millions.

It wasn't until it was finally Cryd's turn, everyone was anticipating what kind of gift a rich kid like him will gift to his little sister.

And when they saw Nagi recieve the gift, they were dumbfounded.

'What? Is that his gift? Isnt that too low?'

'A gift like that? what is he thinking?'

Many doubted their eyes when they saw the gift, it was nothing but a simple picture book, and it was also thin, from the looks of it.

It doesnt have a lot of pages, even Nagi was a little confused, with their wealth, there is nothing that her brother cant buy, so why this picture book? Curious she immediately checked the picture book.

The title was "The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse"

A picture she has never seen before and have also never before, she then saw the author name at the bottom which surprised her.

She knew this pen name because she had seen her brother's pen name once when she saw him drawing a manga.

She had seen Cryd's works and loved wach of them, they were fresh and very interesting, so seeimg this book made her heart jump.

With great anticipation she opened the first page of the book, but just as she was about to read, she felt a hand gently tap her and when she sees her brrother smiling at her.

She understood that it wasnt the proper occassion to read it now, so reluctantly putting the book down and placing it on her lap, seeing that Nagi seemed to like Cryd's gift, the people who doubted Cryd's gift became silent and didnt say anything anymore, the party continued.

Soon the giving of gifts finished and it was finally time for Cryd to do his performance once again, hearing his first music made everyone anticipate performance, forgetting about his gift.

Cryd sat in front of the piano and took a deep breath before playing the piano, it was a slow but cheerful piano.

The notes were simple and pleasant to listen to, then a surprise came next.

"Dango, Dango, Dango, Dango, Dango My Family~"

Cryd started singing, his voice was smooth and pleasant, even though it sounded childish, it fitted with the lyrics of the song and how it was delivered.

"What if everyone could see

That just by holding hands like the dango family

You will find love

Now, the little dango town is slowly blossoming

Into the bright world I dream of"

The song ended and there was silence, Cryd was breathing heavily as he still doesnt have lung capacity to sing for very long, he then looked around to see everyone was looking at him dumbfoundedly, then Nagi started clapping, followed by more and more.

It didnt take long for the huge hall to be drowned with cheers and clapping, they really loved the song.

And what's more is that they have never heard of it before!

Which meant the song was an original of Cryd!

"He is a musical genius!"

"Amazing!"

People couldn't help but praise his talent, Cryd just bowed at them and didn't say anything.

The song he sang just now is Dango Daikazoku, a song full of memories to those who have heard it from his past life, to the people in this world, the song carries a meaning about family but in his past life, this song means a lot of things, lots of things.

Which is why Cryd couldn't help but tear up a little bit as he sung the song, it was really too much for his heart.

After resting for a little bit Cryd is going to sing his final song.

For this last song, Nagi requested for a powerful song that makes her shiver, Cryd didnt know why but he obliged as it was his promise to her.

For this one, Cryd needed to prepare the whole orchestra and the choir, all in all, it took 10 minutes for them to prepare and finally they started playing.

The instruments started playing, it was deep and has a vibe that gives goosebumps.

Then Cryd sang along with the choir.

"La la la la

Ba ba ri ras!"
