Chapter 22- Woman Intuition Is Scary

While Kazuma is 'enjoying' the game, Cryd was looking at the new customer who was looking around warily, she has her katana out and was pointing it at Cryd, but he ignored it,as he knew this is the normal reaction when someone enters an unfamiliar place.

Unlike Kazuma who doesn't have sense of danger at all, Cryd was actually quite suprised by the identity of the new customer, this is more shocking that Kazuma, lets be honest here, Kazuma is like your friendly neighbore so he doesn't give that much surprise

But this new customer, she is like a foreigner and everywhere she goes will catch attention, well, except that she is not that tall, even a kid like him almost has the same height as hers.

Cryd suddenly saw her staring at him with a pissed off stare, yikes, the intuition of women, anyway, Cryd smiled and welcomed her while he carefully observed her.

A petite young woman with a pale complexion and large, compound-like eyes that lack pupils, only a haze of gradient purple, making her eyes appear similar to those of insects. She has black wavy hair that fades to dark purple, styled at the back of her head into a flat yakai-maki bun, fastened with a white, turquoise and light purple butterfly ornament. She has center-split, ear-length, voluminous curtain bangs that flow down to frame the sides of her face, with two slightly thinner chin-length locks of hair in front of her ears below them(I know its extremely detailed, got it from wiki), and she is sma-.

She swung her katana as if ready to slash him if he continued his thoughts.

"Who are you and what is this place?"

She asked as she stared at Cryd, she isn't falling for the young Cryd as she knew demons can be a kid if they wanted to so she is very wary of him.

"Um… nice to meet you, My name is Sanzenin Cryd, and i'm the owner of this place and please put that weapon away, it isn't appropriate to point that to another person"

Cryd calmly said as he pointed at the katana she was holding, she stared at him for a while before finally putting her weapon down. She didn't know why she was pissed as she looked at this guy in front of her but she felt she must slash him down a few moments ago.

"I am Kocho Shinobu, I want to ask how you built this place behind a boulder?"

"Boulder?... Oh! That is probably your entrance point"

Cryd was at a loss at first until he remembered it.

"Entrance point, what does that mean?"

"Simply, its the only place you have to enter to reach this place, it actually appears in random and it will be unfortunate if you place it in a bad spot because you can't move the door anywhere, May I ask where you are after you entered this place?"

"At the forest behind our training grounds"

Shinobu replied not knowing she was lucky that it wasn't anywhere else because going to this place will be very difficult if placed anywhere.

He arrived at this conclusion after seeing those undeveloped parts, because it isn't as developed as he saw in the anime.

As if sensing what he was thinking, Shinobu unconsciously held the hilt of her katana, this made Cryd smile awkwardly, he must be careful of his thoughts from now on or he might be slashed one day.

Shinobu was first surprised by the sudden intrusion inside her head but after sensing it was harmless, she let it through curious what the kid of her wanted to do but then she received information, more specifically about the place she was in right now.

The information started focusing on the world she was in, it was a big blue planet, she was amazed by the sight.

Then the scene zoomed out and she found herself looking at what's called the Galaxy, the place where her planet is part of, then it continued zooming out showing the universe, the multiverse, the megaverse, she didn't know where this names are coming from but they sound logical and it fits with what she is seeing.

Soon, she arrived in the infinite void, where there is almost nothing, but she could still see the light coming from the things she saw earlier but if you compare it to the void she was in now, they were simply like specks of dust.

Then suddenly out from the void appeared a door, it was the door she had entered earlier, Shinobu extended her hand and opened the door.

Then after she opened the door, she found it was the same place she entered earlier, she could see the kid who greeted her earlier making beverages.

She then looked at the coffins around, it was also the reason why she is very wary earlier but after she looked at those things, information entered her brain.

Their use, how to use, their benefits, etc everywhere she looks, information will surge inside her brain, and finally, she could also see a guy lying on one of the so called VR pods and saw his information and she was surprised to find he is from another universe, curious she focused on the owner of this cafe.

There is no information that appeared but instead she saw him turning towards her and his mouth moved.

"Welcome back"

After he said those words, Shinobu felt her body being sucked by something and in the next moment, she returned to her body.

Her eyes were wide open after getting all those information, she felt that her views has expanded, she didn't know if those were the truths but it is the only information she has about the outside world.

She then felt a little dizzy because of the sheer quantity of knowledge she received, she took a deep breath trying to balance herself.

"Please take a seat, here is a black coffee to relax yourself"

Shinobu, still feeling dizzy and glanced at Cryd, her perception has now changed due to the things she saw and that she felt he was hiding something.

She then looked at the black coffee he served to her and it had a very pleasing aroma, she gulped before picking the cup.

She doesn't care about any poison if it has one, her body is simply capable of digesting any kind of poison and she doubts that the owner will have a reason to poison her.

She took a sip and a bitter taste assaulted her taste buds, it was bitter but it wasn't to the extent where she dislikes it, she is someone who tried a lot of poison so this kind of bitterness is not new to her, it only took a few moments before she got used to the taste and found it pleasing.

As she is slowly sipping her coffee, Cryd took this chance to sit on the other side and look at her. She is certainly beautiful, much more beautiful in the anime, but admiring her isn't the reason he sat in front of her.

"Are you interested in trying those?"

Cryd asked with a smile, Shinobu looked at Cryd before glancing at the VR pods before shaking her head.

"I don't have to waste on those things"

At this time, she is all thinking about revenge for her sister, though the VR seemed interesting, she thinks it will be a waste of time for her revenge.

Remembering her revenge, Shinobu put her cup down and wanted to leave immediately.

"Thank you for this black coffee but I must leave now"

Shinobu said, retaining her usual expression.

"How about the mission board?"

Cryd asked as she is leaving.

"Like I said, I have no time for those"

Shinobu replied without looking back but then a bigger smile appeared in Cryd's face, then he said.

"Even if it means the rewards are something that you will want the most?"

Shinobu stopped at her tracks as she heard those, something that she wanted the most, she then turned her head and looked at Cryd, her eyes saying to continue what he was saying.

"Telling you wont exactly give any good explanations so I will just show it to you"

Cryd snapped his fingers and a floating panel appeared in front of Shinobu.

"Power, fame, wealth, ability, weapon, armor, miracles, disasters, all of the things you can imagine are there"

Shinobu scanned all of the things on the floating panel until her eyes arrived at the miracle section.
