Outdoor Dining Restaurant, Yokohama

A grumpy looking red hair, amber eyes teenager slouch on the chair with one hand supporting his face together across him was a blue haired child in glasses covering his violet eyes carrying a stern expressionless face. Three strangers were suppose to meet today for the first time "officially", but the last one seems to be running late causing the other two who didn't like talking spend their time in silence.

This is how it looks on the outside. The truth is, the two who were in "awkward" atmosphere and the other who was late on schedule were all of Ayanaki Rui's avatar. After 4 years of practice, Rui's manipulation ability on her avatars already reach a terrifying level. Although there are only 5 avatars in total after 4 years of her practice, her control over them from the minimum micro-expressions to the difficult power usage are already managed fully.

"Yo~ I didn't arrive late, didn't I?"

"You're 15 minute behind the set time."

"Subaru-chi is pretty strict~ Just 15 minutes, no big deal! Miko-chan doesn't seem to have any opinion of it."

The one who arrived was Orihaya Izaya who finally came back today in Yokohama after 4 years of stay in Hakone. He deosn't mind Subaru's reprimanding and just continue at his own leisure phase sitting in the open space between the two. The round table without food was filled after the three call for the waitress to take their orders.

Izaya observe his two comrades who were "created" a few years back.

"Subaru-chi", real name - Imai Subaru, was an avatar created 3 years ago under Rui's idea of having a "healing" powers. Izaya created his fake identity allowing Subaru to enter Yokohama Academy as a student. He is registered in Special Division with an Ability: [Painful Price] (Ability to "memorize" pain inflicted to himself and pass the pain to others during contact) as a cover-up. The fake Ability is good but not to the point that people will covet to draw him in. Subaru's real power was actually two separate ability called "Alice". A Healing Alice that allows him to heal any injury, illness or poison from people and a Pain Alice that allows him memorize 'pain' from any injury healed by his Healing Alice and transfer it to others. He's currently the youngest avatar at only 10 years of age in Middle School Division of Yokohama Academy.

Subaru keep giving Izaya a dissatisfied glance but his opponent just shrug off his criticism. "Miko-chan", on the other hand, reach out for the burger that was just served on the table, not caring for the bickering of the other two.

Suoh Mikoto is the oldest avatar in the flock. He's 16 and studies in Yokohama Academy - High School Division. He wears a black, leather jacket with a fur collar and a white V-neck underneath partnered by a dark blue, denim jeans held up by a simple brown belt, with a silver chain attached from the belt to his back pocket. He is also registered under a cover-up Ability: [Beautiful Red] (Ability to create fire on his fists). Compare to the simple ability description, his power in actuality was a Red Sword of Damocles, usually visible only to himself unless the unleash of powers reaches his limit. His "flame" ability was nothing more than a violent aura offset of the huge hidden power he's suppressing on his body.

The three eat their own share and decided to proceed with what they are here for.

"Then, I and Subaru-chi will check out the base later. There's still many things missing though. Miko-chan can pick up Rui-chin on the orphanage and please bring these documents with you."

Izaya handed and envelop in front of Mikoto. When he say that Rui will be "pick up", of course it was impossible for it to be adoption with Mikoto being only 16 years of age. I was more of "finding a relative", in which he set up Suoh Mikoto's identity as a cousin of Rui's late mother. Japan stipulates that a 16 year old can live independently thus there's nothing wrong with allowing Rui, who have no other relatives, to be under his care. After today's meeting, Mikoto's avatar will stay with Rui on guard. Izaya also didn't came late on purpose, but delayed himself a bit to make sure that there's no nearby surveillance that would record them meeting in such a public place.

Mikoto just nod his head in a lazy manner and prop himself up. Izaya and Subaru was also followed. The three separated with Mikoto going in the direction of the orphanage that Rui was in while Izaya and Subaru on the opposite direction.

The orphanage was contacted today for one of the child in their care to transferred. Ayanaki Rui, who only has her cousin as the only relative, will move out today. Her cousin turn 16 two months ago and he imply his willingness to take over as her guardian. Both children were now orphans but Suoh Mikoto who lost his family just a year ago didn't move into any government institution and decided to live with his brother who was also an adopted child. With the papers all processed and approved by the government, the orphanage didn't stop the two and proceed with the regular transfer process.

Rui got out of the orphanage holding Mikoto's hand. She didn't have the habit of talking to her avatars like a certain lolicon doctor (Mori Ogai: *sneeze*) despite how "real" they are. She originally has a silent character so it was a relief that the avatar under her control won't have to feel embarrassed or displeased with her.

Although her avatars can only move under her instructions and have no "auto" mode function, she is now able to manipulate the simultaneously without problem. Without showing abnormalities, Mikoto and Rui arrived at Mikoto's original residence. This place is just an medium 2-floor house in Japan. Mikoto's fake identity was set as an adopted son of an "old couple" suppose to live in here together with a younger brother who is also an adopted child. After the old couple passed away, he stayed here with his sibling and now welcomes his cousin.

The house was spacious enough for two people to live in as in was originally for a family to stay in. This residence area was also far from the coastal area where fights often occur. Rui enters the house and look around curiously. After 7 years here in Yokohama, she's finally out.
