" yeah that remind s me we have gotten everything the girls would need for that day so you don't have to bother " she informed him . " okay aunt ,thanks for that you just relieved me of one of my burdens " he said she could hear the appreciation in his voice.

" ok I have got to go now just got out from the shower " with that they bid each other bye and he cut the call .He immediately dressed and went down to have breakfast David and Lisa were already done while Layla still had her plate full immediately he got into the kitchen she looked up and smiled "hey bro I thought you weren't hungry I was about to tell her to give me your share " David said .

Nathan guessed that it must taste so good for him to want to have an extra because David was very picky when it came to things he ate and drank well it was cooked by his lovely girlfriend looks like they won't need a chef in the nearest future. What more could he expect from someone who was maltreated by her aunt and was punished if the food didn't taste good enough he really pitied her.

Nathan just rolled his eyes at his best friend words while Lisa poked him telling him he is a glutton while Layla just made soft giggles she was enjoying the scene before she had the man of her dreams with her his friend and her best friend they were altogether and happy she was really happy to have them in her life.

Nathan immediately settled down beside her and gave her a peck on her cheek it made her flush " hey beautiful I'm sorry for coming late just got a call from mom and aunt Cora " on hearing his Mother's name he stopped he stopped his cat and rat play with his sister " mom called " he asked before Layla could respond .

"yeah actually mom called so she and aunt were together " he explained and David's mouth formed an O shape. " why did they call is something wrong " thus the Lisa asked ." nothing much they just wanted to know how you girls are doing and your reaction to the apartment that's all they didn't even ask how me and David were fairing can you imagine that dude" he faked like he was complaining this pouting his lips in the process .

Layla went to the kitchen to get his food came back laughing when she saw his pouting lips he looks so handsome right now she thought. "thanks your food is cold come let's share mine I'm really sorry for keeping you waiting " he said again . She smiled and shook her head " I know it's not your fault so stop apologizing it's wierd and don't worry I will just warm mine " she said .

Upon seeing their interaction Lisa frowned she wasn't jealous but she decided to voice out her thoughts " why does it look like you guys are already married and this is your which me and brother came to visit ?" she asked making everyone burst into laughter even Layla could not hold back her tummy ached as she laughed .

" hey stop laughing you looked like a full house wife a few moments ago you are really doing a good job in pushing me to get a boyfriend "she added and her brother stopped laughing he gave her a cold look " don't even think of it " he told . Nathan was watching by the side with a. smile on his lips he remembered when his parents died miraculously his mom was pregnant that day the whole family had received the news a few days before their death.

Up till now he wondered if the child was a boy or girl at some point he would prefer a brother and then he would also have liked to have a sister . His aunt didn't have a child of her own and he couldn't even blame she was looking out for him when his parents died her life also changed she cancelled some plans she had for herself just to be with her only nephew and she took care of him jealously.

Everyone was jealous of their relationship he was really grateful to her for all she had done he knew no matter how many days and years he uses to say thank you they won't be enough he was really a lucky guy to have her if it were some aunt's like Layla's they could have taken all his entitlement but she didn't. She cared for him like her own .

He didn't know a tear was trickling down his face David ,Lisa mad Layla saw it immediately they panicked after successfully getting him out of his thoughts "nat what's up why the tears ' David asked he was really worried he was just warning his sister about those college guys and he spaced out what was he thinking about now .

Nathan looked down and shook his said with a wry smile on his face he looked up at them and said in a low voice" my mom was pregnant before she died " . Now David understood the reason for those tears " David I could have had a younger brother or sister if they hadn't killed her " he lamented David got up from his position signalling to his sister to switch chairs so he could sit near him.

" hey I understand just forget about it okay it's in the past now " David said parting his back with his left hand on his shoulder he felt Nathan's muscle tense " how could days I should forget David they fucking killed the three people I loved so much "he said bursting into fresh tears .

Layla couldn't help but feel sorry for him she stood up and engulfed him in a hug and patted his shoulder telling it was all ok and she was here for him .When she started that he remembered his mom she always did that anytime he was sad she would always comfort him you could call him a Mama's boy he and his dad loved and doted on his mom with that he tested on her and another fresh tears came out .

He was angry at himself for letting her see this part of him he didn't want to worry her with his problems they were his to solve . He really. wanted to move on from his past but looks like a little detail of a full family's love would bring back a memory of them .It took a lot of time before he stopped crying bad was calm.

During the time she consoled him she got to know that he. had passed through slot she too also lost her parents so she knew what he went through but can't he just forget what happened he has already accepted her fate and opened a new chapter for herself she didn't want to be stuck in that side of her life again it was too choking .He really needed to accept the truth that they were gone and nothing he does will bring them back .

When he was fully calm they decided to set out to the college they had lost a lot of time and Nathan was really sorry " girls I'm really sorry for my breakdown earlier now you are late ,I really hope they haven't closed yet " with that he checked the time it was an hour and a half before they closed for today they were meant to be having fun but his sad mood spoiled it all.

He sped across the road Layla saw he was really nervous she touched his arm he looked at her and she smiled at him charmingly and that did the trick his nerves calmed down and he was able to think he quickly gave his phone to David and told him the people he should contact with his phone they first spoke to Aaron he ordered him to call some certain people who could help them immediately they got there .

He didn't want to use his position and influence but right now they didn't have anything time in ages minutes Aaron called back informing him that his schedule had been sent to his mail and he has contacted the people who could help them with the admission process left for them they got to the college on time . They quickly rushed out of the car on getting to the admin office they saw a man in checkered grey pants standing outside leaning by the rail he backed them and was looking down stairs" excuse me we are looking for the admin head " Lisa spoke up.

The man immediately turned on hearing a sweet melodious voice it sounded like jazz to his ears he looked at her inquisitively and Lisa was shocked her mouth slightly open from shock this guy was so gorgeous he looked breath taking .He was the first to snap out of the daze still leaving shocked Lisa in her fantasy world.
