004 : Super Soldier Serum
Erskine stared at William who drank his precious wine slowly, "Who the hell are you? Who sent you? was it Schmidt?"
"Dr. let me solemnly introduce myself, My name is William. As for Schmidt you mentioned, I am really interested to know him. After all, he seems like a villain like me." William smiled.
"Where is Karen?" Dr. Erskine called out.
"Are you talking about the lady?? Man, she really has attitude problems against young people, thank god I tied her when I got the chance, she really screams too loud. Don't worry, she's in a safe place for now" William said as he made expression like he really cared about the lady.
"It looks like you really love the lady, considering your age, you're almost a decade older than her, well, that's relieving, I thought I couldn't use to threaten you..." William smiled as he saw Doctor's face getting angrier by the second as his breath was becoming erratic.
"Calm down, calm down Doctor Erskine, you are getting old, or else you will need a real doctor..." William said as he giggled at the end of it.
Dr. Erskine took a deep breath as he said "What is your purpose? Come on, tell me, I'm of use to you, this has nothing to do with Karen, please let her go!!"
"Doctor don't worry, as long as you meet my demands, I am a very civilized person and nobody will get hurt" William walked towards the sofa and sat on it.
A look of hatred flashed in Dr. Erskine's eyes as he muttered "I have seen no trace of civil person from your actions."
William heard it as he said
"Doctor, why do you judge a book by its cover?? It really disappoints me when you say such things, you are an accomplished man, you should know how to judge people, anyways, I'm not the type who pretends to act appealing to other, I say and do whatever"
"You don't say it, huh?" Doctor said inside his head.
William put the glass on the table as he took a rope from underneath "Doctor Abraham Erskine, its better for you to co-operate with me, or someone getting hurt will become inevitable"
William tied Dr. Erskine with a rope slowly, he didn't really resist it much "Doctor, I really like your calmness. Look at it, you stayed calm and you sit in a comfortable position, although a little restricted, but you are in better condition than if you would have resisted"
Doctor looked into William's eyes as he said "What do you want from me??" tied down helplessly.
"Doctor Erskine, I heard that you invented a serum, a Super Soldier Serum," William said with a smile.
Erskine's pupils narrowed narrowed at the mere mentioned of the serum as he yelled in a loud voice "How do you know it? It is a highly confidential project, you must be sent by Schmidt, right?"
"Doctor, as I said it several times, calm down! Don't care about these details, I just know it anyway."
"You won't get anything!!, you won't get anything from me!!" Erskine said firmly in a stern and serious voice "Even if you kill me, you won't get the formula from me"
William's face changed. "Doctor, your determination is to credit, I appreciate your courage, But..." He said as he smiled and giggled a bit at the end.
"but what?"
"Its just fun, do you want to know something?" William smiled as he got up.
"What are you going to do?" Dr Erskine instinctively got the feeling that this man in front of him was planning something terrible
"That woman was called Karen, right? Let's have a talk doctor"
"There are many kinds of women, some are housewives and work in homes, some work in offices, some work as labour and some as prostitutes , she's barely into her 40s, I don't know if it will be heartbreaking for you to see her like that. But for a lot of people, it would be great scene to see her like that"
William nodded his head "A nice scene indeed Doctor, what do you think? I can already see men that are excited by her, hahaha."
Erskine's face paled and darkened at the same as as he yelled "You Demon!!!!!"
"Yes, yes, the demon is a compliment to me, but what I am is the Devil." William shrugged as he looked indifferently.
"I will not give in," Dr. Erskine yelled loudly, unknown whether he was steeling himself or reprimanding William.
William gave a thumbs up and said "I have a proposal and I think you will like it, well like it or not, the work is already done and just a signal is needed."
"The fact is, I have already prepared a few big guys, They are all watching the lady Karen. As long as I pick up this phone, it would be a signal for them to forever and ever disappear with your wife, you will never hear her voice again and her coming life would be your fault, plus you are getting old, you need someone to take care of you" William slowly walked towards the phone on the table.
Dr. Erskine's eyes widened as he shouted on the top of his voice "Devil, demon, you shameless animal!!!!"
William nodded. "That's right, I'm despicable, shameless, indecent, unscrupulous, and doing all the bad things. That's what makes me a special as a villain"
"Doctor, don't worry, you will soon hear her voice for the last time before her life is plunged into darkness, you know." William said as he moved towards the "Modern" antique looking telephone with seperate Mic and Receiver.
There was a hint of agony and struggle in Erskine's eyes as he finally lowered his head and said "Stop, you demon!!! I'll do as you say!!"
"Fine!!" William said as he returned back to sitting on the sofa.
"Do you agree now?" William said with a smile.
Dr. Erskine nodded slightly as he said "You let go of Karen first!"
"Doctor, do you think of me as a fool? Don't say such things, it will only add to her suffering" William said, picking his nose. "I just want to inject the serum into myself, It's as simple as that. Now, is it a problem??"
Doctor's head raced into higher levels as he created multiple scenarios in his head.
Complying with this person right now was the optimum choice, plus he will get to test out his serum without feeling guilty about it.
Till now he couldn't find a subject to test his new formula for the serum, there was still a 50% chance there would be mutation like how it happened with Schmidt.
He didn't want to hurt Steve, plus he was getting a free subject to even more optimize his serum.
He was sure that by the time their work will be about to be completed, his backups would arrive and they would successfully capture William and turn him into a lab rat.
"We'll have to go to the laboratory to get the serum, plus all the machinery thats needed is in there, without them it's a funny liquid with no powers."
"I see, how do we get there?? And please don't bullshit me, I know you have a secret entrance from your house, otherwise it won't be adjacent to the main entrance"
"I see." Dr. Erskine said in frustrated tone, he thought he could fool William to go through the main entrance "Untie me and I will take you to the basement, where there is a laboratory."
"Now this is the man I admire"
"Tell me where the entrance is. As for the rope on your body, don't worry about it, I'll release it as soon as we reach the lab" William said with a smile.
"Did you see that bookcase? Push the top two books inwards" said Dr. Erskine.
William walked towards the bookcase, took a stool, stood up, and pushed the top two books in the middle.
