Piercing my blade through Yami's chest, arms, legs, and head, I watched in delight as blood washed over me like a baptism of red. The warmth of his blood against my flesh was almost euphoric.
He cried out while my blade severed large clunks of flesh from his body in a slow, painful fashion. This bastard deserved no quick death but rather one of a thousand blades.
"So this is embarrassing?" A deep sadistic voice uttered from the tip of my ears, stirring my heart cold. "Are you really the Lord of Deceits disciple? I would have thought you to be at least a challenge."
Tensing up, I twisted my head, only to see an arch of vicious darkness flash through my arm, tearing it off my body, as a painful wail escaped my lips.
"HOW! "I cried, hoping this was but a dream. As blood, my blood littered the ground scarlet. "How are you still alive!"
Standing utterly free of injuries, Yami stood still; his arms were crossed, and his lips arched into a devilish fashion.
Forcing my divinity into my left arm socket to stop the bleeding, tears streamed from my face against my will. Try as I wished, nothing worked, as the pain only grew.
"Why isn't it healing?"
Shooting a ruthless kick into my jaw, the devil I was facing sneered, "You're a disgrace to a Snow. My god, you are a false god, but you are in tears? Is this your first time being this injured? Pitiful Richter Snow, truly Pitiful."
Bitting my lips drenched in a frenzy of blood, I glared, at this bastard, standing over me. Pushing away, I made distance, standing to my feet in a hurry with my right arm clenching Titan firmly.
My lungs were burning, my eyes stung like fire, yet my heart was cold. Standing before this monster, I was frozen at that thought of the unknown.
Stop it, Righter. Think, Think! Yes, it must have been the Dao of Illusion! That has to be it. I need to find a way to break out of it? I can't afford to lose another arm. I can't die here!
"I like that look, Richter. One of hope. Did you figure out I was using the Dao of Illusions? I must say it is quite a powerful Dao, but I'm quite interested in that Arte you just used. I think I may steal it."
Clenching his fist, a double side blade of pure obsidian lightning fired from his palms.
I gulped as I felt a powerful Sword intent rising from him. It was horrific, reminding me of those Blade Master at the Celestial Battle Grounds.
"Yami, stop this madness at once!" Yu Lan shouted, appearing once more in the middle of us, bringing me even greater humiliation upon my name.
"No. This is a battle between men. Richter attacked first... I think. It doesn't matter; the bastard deserves to die!" Yami shamelessly uttered, knowing damn well he was the one to strike first. "Are you going to let a woman fight your battle Richter, more so my woman! Have you no shame!"
"YAMI!!!" Yu Lan roared, darkening the skies with her presence. "Stand down! Now."
"Back off! I can handle it! Out of my way Yu Lan. " I hollered, pushing past this whore who would sell herself to this thing!
"Will you look at that! Did your balls drop? Is your period over?"
Turning darker by the second, a feeling I had only felt with Arsene began to blossom. How could a man be so, so hateful? He is dead, dead.
Narrowing his gaze, Yami's mocking smile faded. Call it instincts, but at that moment, I vanished, backing up over twenty meters.
It was subtle but, the land around Yami became withered from the dense killing intent emitting from his pores. Releasing a breath of black mist, a chill filled my soul.
"Yami, think of this! He is not alone!" Yu Lan warned.
"Merely the Celestial Kings disciple, yet he thinks he shits stars," Yami uttered harshly, arching his double-sided blade, which held no hilt, only a blade, that covered his palm and wrist.
He started by walking, but by his third step, Yami's speed began to pick up; his movements became like a breeze by his eighth, and a bolt of light, by the tenth.
"Severing Soververnty," He chanted to my horror.
Copying my Arte, my heart grew faint, while my eyes became clouded in disbelief.
Bellowing with all I had, my aura became like a pillar that shone brightest in a land of night. Reaching further than I had ever before, I used the same Arte to contest against Yami.
BOOOOOM!!!!!
Clashing over and over, I roared and roared till my throat ran dry, and my arm turned black with anguish. My blade severed Dao, but Yami's withered it away to the very core. He had copped my Arte and changed it to match his monstrous Dao. With his intent showering the skies, all there was, was withering darkness.
"YAMI!!! STOP!" Yu Lan screamed when it had family happen.
Digging his blade into my chest with an indifferent expression, Yami, with his blade centimeters away from my heart, smiled, pushing his sword in deeper in a slow, painful manner as to make me scream.
Coughing up a mouthful of blood, my hair had finally turned to the color of white, to my joy, but so to did my body as it began to wither away.
"You can die, now." He said as if I were nothing more than an insignificant piece of trash.
Holding him in my eyes, I did not beg. I did not cry as I did before. I merely stared, branding his features to memory.
"Hold your blade, Yami." A calm, familiar voice of Lai Yuan thundered out.
Widening my eyes at the victorious smile upon his face, the fear slithered around my heart like a serpent around a tree.
It... it was never about me. He wanted to see Lai Yuan, but why?
Shifting my gaze to Yu Lan, whose expression was no longer anxious but rather chilly, blood trickled from my nose, staining my clothing.
Dismissing his blade that was still within me, I fell helplessly to my knees. Witnessing a man with long Azure hair, deep silver eyes so sharp, my eyes bled from a single glance, materialized holding me up.
"Yami was it. Who is your master?" he asked as if knowing the devil before me would answer.
Crackling in laughter, the devil in my eye arched his head high hatefully. "So many questions, why not bring someone who can defeat me."
It may have been due to my cloudy vision, but at this moment, a faint memory of an arrogant small child mixed into this fully grown adult. That arrogance cannot be bought, nor learned.
Shuddering, another glob of blood fell from my lips, black and thick in texture,
"Lai Yuan, it's a surprise to see they sent an Empyrean King to protect Richter, but I suggest you leave." Yu Lan demanded, quite fearlessly, but Yami could not help but disagree.
"Nonsense. Why not have dinner with us? I am currently about to bring the Princess to the castle, or should I tell her not to show?" He uttered, surprising everyone.
