Fired?!

The man soon introduced himself as Sergeant Wade Grey.

"We have four new rookies here. New and fresh blood for our police station. We have many incredible rookies in this times draft.

As for which rookie is getting assigned to which T.O.

You will know soon.

The first rookie we have is Lucy Chen. Achieving her first arrest, before her work time even started.

The second rookie is Jackson West. He broke all his dad's records in the academy.

The third is John Nolan. He is older than the oldest police cars here.

The last one we have is the most incredible. He was by far the best achiever in this year's practical exam. He even has some experience working as a police officer. Ethan Alvarez"

Sergeant Wade Grey introduced all of us in a draft-like atmosphere.

He seemed very enthusiastic about most of us, besides Nolan.

"Let us start with assigning everyone to their T.Os.

Let us start with Officer Alvarez. You will be working with Officer Lopez.

Officer Nolan will be working with Officer Bishop.

Officer Chen will be working with Officer Bradford and

Officer West will be working with Detective Harper"

After he introduced all of us to our T.Os we all went out of the meeting room with our T.Os. The only one who didn't go out was Nolan who was requested to stay there for a second by the Sergeant.

"I hope you won't hinder me", Officer Lopez said to me. 

"I won't", I replied with a smile.

I liked the way she acted. She was straightforward.

We soon arrived at the top of the garage building of the police department.

All the cars were located there.

There I got various things tested by my T.O. These were all easy things and I had no problem doing them.

"Code 459 in Washington Street 17", the radio suddenly announced.

"Are you ready?", Officer Lopez asked while putting a seatbelt on.

"I just wanted to ask the same thing", I replied with a smile.

The T.O. soon accepted the case and we drove there.

"You should know what a 459 is, right?", Officer Lopez asked me.

"Of course. It is a burglary", I said confidently.

"Right", she answered with a smile.

We soon arrived at the address.

The house looked pretty good.

We knocked on the doorbell and soon a woman covered in a bathrobe opened the door.

"We got a call about a possible burglary happening here. Do you know of anything?", I asked the suspect while looking at the house behind her.

"No. I don't know anything. I didn't call anyone", she said. I noticed that she seemed to have lied.

Just when I wanted to tell my T.O. we heard the sound of glass shattering.

"Stay here. I will look", Officer Lopez said while rushing in the direction.

"They are burglars", she said after a minute with another woman in handcuffs.

We soon looked into the house to see if any things that we could notice were stolen. 

We didn't notice anything. For a closer look, the owners will need to come.

"What did you do in there?", I started questioning them.

"We had sex. It is a fetish", one of the ladies said without shame. I was a little impressed. I couldn't tell everyone about my fetishes.

"Come here. I will take you into the car", I said to the two of them putting them on the back of the car.

I handcuffed the two of them to the respective doors to ensure that they had no mobility.

After that, we delivered the two criminals to the police station.

My first case as an official police officer was surprisingly easy.

After the case I had lunch. All the rookies ate it together with their T.Os.

We all told each other about the things we had experienced.

Time went by like nothing and soon lunch was over. There were no more cases in the evening.

My first day ended like that.

Soon my second day began.

The day was like any other until a sequence was heard throughout the radio.

"Is that about a shooting and a police officer being hit?", I asked Officer Lopez a little stunnedly.

"Yes", she nodded in a serious composure.

We immediately made a U-Turn and drove towards the scene.

"7-Adam-07 arriving at the scene", Officer Lopez said through the police radio.

"BANG"

"WE ARE UNDER FIRE", I screamed after hearing the sound.

I immediately stepped out of the vehicle and went to get cover.

Soon Officer Lopez arrived beside me.

"Everything ok?" x2, we both asked each other.

Meanwhile, we were shot at.

"I will attract their attention and you fire back", Officer Lopez said.

I just nodded.

She started shooting at the suspect.

I slowly peeked above the hood of the car with my AR.

After I saw the enemy turning towards me I immediately shot. Clean shot through the head. I could tell that from here. He was dead.

"Good shot", Officer Lopez said anxiously and stunned. Being shot at wasn't an everyday occurrence.

Soon some police officers arrived.

They began to ask me questions about what happened. Why do I shoot and many other questions.

I answered them honestly. I had nothing to hide.

"What would be the worst-case scenario?", I asked Sergeant Wade Grey while I had a short break.

"You would get Fired", he answered.

"Fired?! Not Jail?", I asked curiously.

"No. At the first look, you obviously did nothing wrong. Due to that no jail time. Some other punishments are also excluded for about 99 percent. You are almost sure to get away with it without punishments", he said.

"Thanks for helping Officer Lopez and the whole department is proud of you", he added patting my shoulder.
