Their battle breached the laws of tranquility.

Their composure was long gone. It was only bloodshed, and the determination to defeat the other.

Angelica's mind was filled with thoughts of executing Lucifer, only to bring him back, while Lucifer's mind was filled with eradicating Angelica, permanently.

Their weapons had strided through the air, connecting against each other. Explosions had echoed through the bright blue sky, all across Terra. Thousands of people watched their battle from across the globe.

The West Continent.

"Lady Angelica… is she battling Lucifer?" Legolas looked into the sky in a field of flowers and animals.

Other servants and civilians who lived in the area were in shock, seeing their leader fight in a battle to the death. It was truly astonishing.

The East Continent.

"Hmph, so they decided to duke it out. How truly barbaric." Lilith watched from the balcony of her castle, looking into the sky as she enjoyed a warm cup of tea, "I wonder, who will be the victor of this battle?"

"It seems that they're evenly matched, Lady Lilith." Implied Rupert, standing elegantly next to his master.

"It seems that way." Lilith took the cup of tea from her mouth, mixing it with her teaspoon, "Rupert… this tea that you prepared, it's green tea." She looked at him in disgust, cringing her face, "You know I dislike this kind. Bring me Black!"

"Oh, yes my lady, right away."

The North Continent.

"Their battle is starting to affect even Terra itself, if this continues… who knows what will happen?" Said Jacob, watching from his campgrounds.

"The only thing we can do is pray that nothing happens." Implied Alice, watching from the log she sat on.

"Angelica…" Maverick watched from the balcony of his room, using the Eyes of the Emperor to see everything in clear detail.

The South Continent.

"Run! Run away!!!" Civilians ran for their lives, scattering away from the chaos being inflicted on the terrain.

Tectonic plates rose from the ground, mountains crumbled, and caused massive earthquakes, and tornados.

Even hurricanes slowly formed in the sky.

Their battle moved into divine territory. No mortal mind could understand what was happening anymore, they could only see the chaos and that was it.

Their weapons clashed at speeds that surpassed the speed formula entirely.

"Haaaaah!" Angelica found an opening in Lucifer's attack, uppercutting his chin.

The demon king groaned in pain, elevating towards the sky until he left Terra's atmosphere.

Angelica followed suit, extending her hand toward the demon king, "Catastrophe!"

"Nghhh—Graaahh!" Lucifer quickly recovered, stopping himself near the sun, and raising Muramasa, "Hraaaaaggh!!" He slashed his blade downwards, but it wasn't enough, "What??" The Catastrophe had landed, "Guohhh!" Blood splurged from his mouth, and his body was sent through the burning star, exiting the other side, completely unfazed by the heat.

("Muramasa… was unable to stop it?")

Lucifer suddenly remembered.

("That's right… she used absorption against my Catastrophe spell and was saving it for the right time.")

Absorption. An F-tier Arcane spell that allows the player to absorb magical attacks for mana points, and use it to amplify their spells. Angelica used this during the beginning of their fight, saving it for the perfect time.

Lucifer was vulnerable.

Angelica accelerated through the void of space, extending her palm to grasp his face, "Soul Haki!"

"Infinity Clone!"

Angelica used Soul Haki, an E-tier Arcane spell that allows them to seize the souls of other NPCs, and even players, causing them to lose their willpower, both mentally and spiritually.

But Lucifer countered at the exact instance she landed it.

By using infinity clone, he created a duplicate of himself and swapped bodies with it, causing his previous body to be affected.

Thus… he could continue the fight!

Lucifer grinned, summoning Muramasa in this new body, and slashing at her shoulder. Angelica barely dodged the attack, but it still wasn't enough; Lucifer destroyed her action with Muramasa, making her dodge irrelevant. She was cut across the shoulder.

"Tch!" She grunted in pain, but didn't let it stop her, "Hijack!"

"Hijack!"

They both used Hijack in unison, taking advantage of their close-range combat.

Hijack was known as an E-tier Arcane spell that gives knowledge to the caster about their enemy's spells, magic, and resistances.

They could see each other's abilities, and resistances, reading them to ensure their victory.

("Lucifer hasn't used his custom spells yet, we've mainly been focusing on our Arcane Magic and Supreme-Grade Equipment. I have to watch out for anything suspicious.")

They separated from each other, hovering kilometers away from one another to calculate their chances of winning.

("Angelica hasn't used her custom spells… the only attacks we used are Arcane Magic. But one of us is going to resort to our own spells and end this battle, but the question is… when?")

Lucifer chuckled.

"Heheheh… I have to say, I'm pretty anxious about fighting you, Angelica. You managed to reach my level in such a short amount of time. You learned to combine Datasets with mana, just like me." Lucifer lowered his guard for a moment, but so did Angelica.

"Whatever fails to kill us won't work on us again, we'll just adapt and learn what our opponent can do, taking their ability. You should've ensured my death with the first attack," Said Angelica, teasing the Demon King.

"I have to admit, I let that slip past my mind. I was too high on predetermined victory… but now… ensuring that victory is a pain in the ass. You're too strong."

"Same to you."

The two of them were determined to win. Lucifer discarded Muramasa, as did Angelica with Divination Spear.

"Let's kick this up a notch." Lucifer grinned, lifting his arm and summoning a magical circle, "Which spell are you going to use first?"

Angelica followed suit, lifting her arm to summon a magical circle, "I don't know, you'll just have to find out."

When fighting in a battle of magic, you're unable to tell which spell your opponent will use, that's why it was so dangerous.

Sure, you could wait and see what spell they will cast, but usually, it's too late to react in time.

"Infinite Recurrence."

"Infinite Recurrence."

But fortunately enough, they both had the same idea.

They had cast Infinite Recurrence, an E-tier Arcane spell that loops the target in an endless cycle of negative possibilities, that causes all of their actions to bring them misfortune and failure.

But they canceled each other out.

Once again, they were at a stalemate.

("She used the same attack I did? Is she reading my mind?")

Frowned the Demon King.

("This is peculiar, he's using the same spells that I am.")

Angelica scowled, looking for any openings.

Their magical circles hadn't disappeared, they could continue to use it to summon other spells.

And thus-

"Vector Control!"

"Undead Paladin!"

Angelica used Vector Control, a B-tier Arcane spell.

Lucifer used Undead Paladin, a D-tier Arcane spell.

The Paladin was conjured into existence, targeting Angelica instantly.

"Hmpf," But the angel smiled and surrounded the undead with her magic, "Something like this isn't enough." She manipulated the Undead's vectors, pushing it away, and applying a new one onto its body to send it skyrocketing through the void of space.

With this spell, Angelica could simply touch, or glance at their target to freely manipulate their existing vectors, or even apply new ones. This allows her to increase her strength by manipulating her own vectors, or increase her speed by manipulating the vectors in her feet, etc.

But Lucifer wasn't going to take any more chances, thus, he summoned more undead, "Undead Knight!" A knight emerged from black goo, "Undead Mage!" A mage emerged from the same substance, "Skeleton Army!" An army of skeletons had also appeared.

Angelica widened her eyes, confused about his plan.

("What's he up to? He's summoning all of these D-tier Undead. Is he trying to overwhelm me?")

The Undead Knight is a powerful warrior whose main focus is offense. Its skill and offensive capabilities far surpass even the undead paladin, having the ability to adapt and overcome any situation it's thrown in. The Undead mage has the capabilities of using even S-tier Elemental magic, while the Skeleton Army was simply an army of powerful undead who worked in hordes, being able to match level 100 players.

The knight charged first, approaching Angelica in haste. It swung its large bulky sword, but the angel kicked at it with her foot, redirecting the harmful vectors away, and spun kicking at its jaw, dismantling it entirely.

The Undead mage launched powerful elemental magic, but the Angel recovered midair, punching, jabbing, and head-butting away most of the attacks.

With her speed, she blitzed their perception, slamming her feet into the mage's visage. They were blown away, and broken into pieces.

"Is this all you can do?!" Angelica taunted Lucifer with a smile on her face, dashing towards the horde of skeletons, and smashing through them like a railgun!

The skeletons shot their arrows, some used their swords and shields to block her attacks, but it wasn't enough.

Their bones were rattling once they were smashed by her fists, but that wasn't all she could do.

"Flash!" All of a sudden, everyone was blinded, even Lucifer. Her spell "Flash" provides illumination for any dark area, even if caused by a spell designed to cancel light magic and light sources, "Not yet! Extend Magic, Advanced Flash!" She utilized her next spell. Advanced Flash was a greater version of Flash. It was normally used to attack a single target with the heat of the sun, but with Extend Magic, she attacked everyone around her.

The skeletons were being burnt to ash, and Lucifer was captured inside her attack, but he endured it, only sustaining minor injuries.

("All of the summonings were useless. Even the Undead Paladin, whose main focus is defense. It's able to adapt and overcome any situation it's thrown in, even better than the undead knight… and yet… it was toyed with. It's able to completely nullify other Magic classes such as Celestial, Debuffer, Elemental, Defender, and Necromancy. I'm running out of options here to find an opening with her speed.")

Lucifer frowned in frustration, clenching his teeth.

"Your speed is the only thing giving me a problem."

"As it should." Said the boastful angel, charging back into battle.

"But it's not gonna wear me down! I'll just surpass you again, Angelica!!"

"Let's see you try!"

"Clock Acceleration!" Lucifer Utilized A C-tier Arcane spell that could increase his speed by accelerating his time. This also works on his attacks, allowing him to increase the speed of how fast their spells can hit their target.

Lucifer managed to blitz Angelica's reaction only for a split second, but it was more than enough.

"Void Nebula!!"

This was his finishing move.

Lucifer had won!

"Ghhh?!"

So he thought.

"The Catastrophe spell took effect!"

Angelica shouted in victory, seeing Lucifer lose his speed whilst blood spilled from his mouth, floating into the depths of space.

"H-How?!" Lucifer hovered in place, feeling his body slowly corrode away.

"You were so busy focusing on killing me— that you forgot the effects of the Catastrophe spell. Sinful and Holy debuffs were applied to you, bypassing your resistances. This whole time you were fighting with these debuffs and didn't know it."

"But… that's not possible… I would've… realized it sooner."

"I used Phantom Mirage right after Catastrophe to hide the effects of the debuffs, preventing you from taking notice."

("Phantom Mirage? The B-tier Arcane spell that creates illusions based on the user's perception?")

Angelica slowly flapped her wings towards Lucifer, levitating in front of him.

The Demon King looked up at her, grimacing.

"I want to save you, Lucy. I don't want you to do any more harm, because of some false jealousy you have. Let me explain everything from start to finish!"

"I… refuse!"

SMACK!

Angelica slapped him across the face, widening the Demon King's eyes.

"Stop that! You refuse? Why do you refuse? Are you too afraid to hear the truth? Is that why?"

"…No…I…I…" Lucifer looked down in thought, gritting his teeth, "My whole life… I dedicated it all to killing you. I can't let it end here! I must have my revenge!"

"Your revenge is built upon some falsehood, Lucy."

"Why?" Lucifer closed his eyes, looking away at the agonizing truth, "Why?! I… come so far! And you mean to tell me it was all a lie?!"

"Let me explain," Angelica held out her hand, tilting her head to the side with a smile, "I want to help you, Lucy."

The Demon King glanced at the angel, tears in his eyes. Her appearance was beautiful, her smile was… gorgeous.

Her voice was soothing.

And the light around her felt, warm.

This was the same feeling that he and George felt years ago.

It was… love.

Lucifer's hatred was converted into love.

He slowly took her hand with his disintegrating one, grasping it.

All of his wounds, pain, and suffering had vanished.

He was taken into Angelica's grasp.

"I… lost."

"Nihihi~! You sure did. That's what revenge does to yah! It blinds you with rage. Maybe if you were calm, you could've won."

"I suppose you have a point. What a fool I have been."

Their battle was concluded.

Angelica was the winner.
