Chapter 6 Pregnant

When her elder brother, Ning Lichuan returned, they ended their fight and as if nothing happened, Ning Li became once again the person she used to be, carefree and also arrogant.

However compared to before she seems a little more mature.

"My cooking skill has improved a little, you should try this"

Ning Li nodded and was about to put a piece into her mouth when a wave of nausea suddenly hit her.

She quickly ran to the bathroom, leaving behind Tang Zhi who was in shock.

"Did I not get rid the fishy smell well?" Tang Zhi thought as she put a piece of fish in her own mouth and chewed it.

The sound of vomiting could be heard from the bathroom.

Ning Li put a palm on her stomach and stood weakly in deep thought.

She realized that her stomach was not well recently and most especially she was getting a little tired since the past one month.

She ran a finger through her long black hair and walked out with a sigh.

Tang Zhi was standing infront of the door worriedly and she asked with concern;

"Are you alright?"

Ning Li nodded and the girls make their way back into the sitting room.

"I guess my cooking skill has got worse instead, let me take you out to eat some good food as a compensation"

Tang Zhi was about to comforted her when she suddenly remember something.

In one of the light novel she read some days ago, the female lead was also like this and then later discovered that she was pregnant.

"What am I even thinking" Tang Zhi said softly.

"What are you thinking?" asked Ning Li curiously.

Tang Zhi scratched her head slightly and then said;

"Oh, In one of the novel I read, the female lead was also vomiting when she was about to eat oily things and then was later find to be pregnant so I thought that could it be you are also pregnant, hahahaha, my train of thought is really something" she even laughed at her thought and she was expecting Ning Li to joined her when she instantly realized that something is not right as Ning Li seemed frozen.

"What's wrong?" asked Tang Zhi worriedly.

"I didn't have my period last month" Ning managed to said weakly.

"What do you m....." Tang Zhi wasn't able to finish asking her question when she suddenly look at Ning Li in shocked.

"You...You" was all Tang Zhi managed to say as she look at childhood friend in disbelief.

"Let's go to the hospital first, I will explain it to you later" said Ning Li and she hurriedly went to Tang Zhi's room and applied heavy make up that changed the contour of her face slightly and Tang Zhi also do the same and they drove to a small private hospital in the neighborhood.

Ning Li and Tang Zhi sat in the car, the two in their own thoughts.

The result was as expected, positive.... and the disdain in the nurse eyes back in the hospital was obvious.

She just clock 18 four months ago and a young woman like her getting pregnant make them view her as a promiscuous woman.

Never in Ning Li's life as she received that kind of gaze and she knew it was just the beginning as long as she keeps the children.

However, Ning Li was not ready to have an abortion, she will never..... even though she was not prepared and not when the baby, no, the babies, were three month old already, a girl and a boy.

Even if she didn't know the man who raped her and didn't know his motive, the children have her blood so they must....live.

"So do you mind telling me what happened now" asked Tang Zhi when she saw the positive result of her friend's pregnancy test.

Clearing her throat, Ning Li didn't bother to lie as she explained what happened to her at the hotel which makes Tang Zhi's face turned pale as she looked at Ning Li who seemed to be calm.

Of course, only Ning Li knew that she was crying so hard in her heart. She slumped back tiredly, not physically tired but instead mentally and emotionally. She felt really weak and helpless.

This is not a simple matter, it is a matter that a single decision just have to be make and that decision will changed everything.
