Chapter 18: Cube

Flames appear on my feet as i disappear and speed towards Muwi to regroup with him, wich he did the same while not leaving his eyes on the spear statue.

"They move when we don't look." Muwi spoke while i looked at the other two statues: "And they are invincible while they are still." He added while growling and increasing in size until he was big as a dog, his essence covering his body while the temperature increased.

I simply tapped the spear handle on the ground and from there a small spark appeared, soon turning into a small flame that increased untill covering one hundred of blocks around us.

I decided to use this method as a way to sense any sudden movement inside this area, since i can't always have my eyes on the map, this is the best solution currently.

Before the invincibility kicks in, we need to destroy them.

"Let's deal with the spear one first." I command receiving a nod back, with ourselves ready Muwi jumps and turn towards the two statues Infront of me leaving his back exposed.

From the flames i could feel the spear statue take a firm step and rush behind us, at the right moment, before it could stab Muwi with the spear, i immediately stab towards the head.

Eclipse Series: Parallel

Immediately two other me's appeared around the statue, with each of us using our lances to pierce the head, chest and the legs of the statue.

The spears easily pierce the statue leaving three big holes into it, with the cracks spreading all over the body until the statue exploded into debrises.

I smile and look at the remaining two statues that are still thanks to Muwi gaze locked into them, this is enough since we only need to have them into our vision to stop them from moving.

I took out two golden apples and threw one to Muwi who eats it immediately.

With the day of mining we found some gold so crafting the golden apples aren't a problem anymore until we have apples.

I ate my apple without having the time to enjoy the extremely delicious taste that defies logic thanks to the extreme pain that slowly faded away.

The technique is still difficult to use carelessly.

We sprint towards the statues and each of us take on one, we appeared behind them and simultaneously close our eyes for a fraction of a second, immediately attacking while opening our eyes.

In that fraction of second the statue in front of me already attacked three times with the axe, but with the flames telling me it's every move i deflected the attacks, and when I opened my eyes i attacked myself.

But the exe statue showed it's skill and parried or countered my attacks, and after two seconds it stopped again, with my spear not doing any damage.

I closed and reopened my eyes and we entered into a intense battle around the outer rings; speaking of them, i noticed that the statues don't trepass them until we do it ourselves.

Crack!

After fighting with this statue for some time i memorized it's patterns so i quickly dispatched it, immediately heading towards Muwi who was continuously raining fire to the martial statue from afar.

Good strategy.

I immediately came behind and slashed the head off the statue, but i soon felt an impact on my right ribs, the statue continued to move even without the head.

This means that we need to completely destroy the body, so i simply moved the flames below us and ignited the statue, melting it with my eyes closed.

Sppppsss

The melted liquid iron fell with drops until the statue knelt and melted completely, i could have done this before but this consumes a good portion of my essence since i need to increase the heat of the flames to archieve this.

Muwi came to me and said: "Man, this is pretty much a pain in the ass." He complained and i could not agree more, but now that we are here, we must continue, I don't like to do things halfway.

We look at the other statues and then at the Cube: "Hahh.." we walked until the next circle and crossed it.

Three new statues immediately move towards us, but this time we didn't have difficulty dealing with them with our experience, we only needed to close the eyes and deal with them before they stopped moving.

Their durability is not that high since they are made of iron, well, in confront to Diamond or Orichalcum, that's it.

I slashed the entire body of the staff statue with the eclipse technique, while Muwi destroyed the hammer wielder one with a giant flame paw.

We then quickly made work of the sword wielding one: "Huff, let me take a break first.." after destroying the three statues we decided to take a small break to recuperate our essence in case that cube had some surprises.

"You ready?" Muwi asked me and i responded with a nod, i got up and we walked towards the iron cube, it's surface was smooth with not even a sign of oldness.

We walked around the cube to see any entrances or something else but we didn't see anything, so i took out a picaxe and mined a block.

But the moment i touched the cube, it begun to glow while a new red dot appeared on the map, we frowned as the cube floated and glowed even more as it begun to compact changing color.

"Damn.." Muwi cursed while i signed: "Here we go again.."

The cube morphed into a humanoid form but with a size of five meters in height as the glow dimmed showing the boss of this dungeon.

"A boss.." muwi muttered as i could see the boss health bar appearing on my vision, this mf is big!

"RAAARRRGHHH"

The new boss roared while spreading it's arms, it's appearance was similar to the iron boss of the Mowzie's Mobs mod but different from it, this one was bigger, with a learner body type and without an axe.

This mother fucker clearly wants to throw hands.

But even thought i could feel it's strength, i wanted to fight it, unknowingly a smile formed on my face: "I guess you want this one all for yourself." Muwi spoke while shaking his head, i nod while storing the spear on the inventory.

Muwi distanced himself to see the battle without intralcing my movements, i looked the info of this boss on the map and it's rank appeared in front of me.
