A Break

I made it back to the base after I finished killing the people I had to. In the end, I killed one more gang after I killed the peo[le in the warehouse. That brought my kill count for tonight to 60 people. Over the last few years, my kill count has reached exactly 3,000. I remember every face that I have seen when I killed them. At first, I had trouble sleeping, but over time I have gotten better at handling it.

Waiting in the dojo were Doc and my master. They are always in the dojo when I come back. They want to make sure that I completed my mission and patch me up if I got injured during the mission.

"Since you are here you must have completed the mission. Do you have any major injuries that your natural healing won't heal?" Doc asked while checking my body for injuries.

"Yeah, I finished off both gangs. I didn't sustain any note-worthy injuries." I replied with a stoic voice and expression.

"Don't be stoic my boy. You should have gotten used to the killing by now. You look tired. The boss has decided to give you the rest of the month off since you have accomplished so much in the last 2 years. Go back and relax for the next few days. I will give you a few days off training too. I want you to be back here one week from today." My master told me while waving me to leave the room.

I bowed before exiting and heading toward my room. I still have the same room as I did four years ago. I am glad that I got the next week off because my last quirk will come in.

I hope that it comes in tomorrow so that I have time to practice how to use it. In preparation for this, I have been studying hundreds of formulas of different smells for the last four years. Some are useful to me in combat, some are useful in passive things like recovery and keeping a calm mind, and some are not useful at all.

Also, in the last four years, I studied all the common subjects along with Japanese. I have planned to go to Japan after I escape, and I want to try and live a more carefree life there.

I know that I might have to deal with All-For-One (AFO) if I go there, but I at least know what is going to happen. Here I have no idea of what the future might hold.

I would have gone to Japan without worrying about anything here in America, but I still have to look out for my siblings. During some of my missions, I looked into them, and it seems that they are doing well.

My brother, Terrel, has become a rising star in the hero industry. I even heard rumors that he might become a disciple of Star and Stripe.

Shawna has become a marine biologist after graduating early. She created a group of people that go around the world and help animals. She is becoming famous around the world.

Ruby finished culinary school and has become a world-renowned chief. She has been invited to cook at many famous places and events. Last time I checked she has been invited over to England to cook for the queen's thirty-fifth birthday.

To me, it seems that they are getting over what happened to me and Mama Wyetta, and are making a life of their own.

I made it back to my room and went straight to bed looking forward to the next seven days.
