Ch 20 - Introductions

The shadows started to gather into the silhouette as it started to take on a physical form.

And then what appeared was the number one hero of South Korea, Shadow Monarch!

'As expected, he will be in class A. Now lets see if he truly is a traverser. He has the powers of the Shadow Sovereign except he hasn't use the most defining power of the Shadow Sovereign's power set, the power to create armies. I haven't found a way to see if he has a quirk or not so I could aslo solve that question. And with my meager understanding about the 'plot', I could conclude that he has a high chance of being a plot character, so with me being intertwined with his fate, I could inspect it more closely' thought by Jinwoo as he look at him with emotionless eyes.

The whole class erupted into a cheering fit as they rejoice in finding out their new homeroom teacher.

But then, SM went to clap his hand indicating for the class to quiet down.

"Hello there class" said by SM

"Hello teacher" responded back by the whole class in enthusiasm except Jinwoo as he said it in a emotionless voice once more.

"Well then, students, you know me. I am the Shadow Monarch, the number one hero of South Korea. Now with that introduction, why don't the whole class introduce themselves one by one" said by Shadow Monarch.

After hearing that, the students waited in anticipation as SM decided the order of introduction.

'Introductions, it will make or break your first impression regarding the whole class. But I could go to many paths, but I could either be standing out, or my presence is very low that many will ignore me. And with that low presence will counteract the possible repercussions of the experiment's success. And with all the recent events that happened to me, the repercussions may be proven true, so low presence it is' thought by Jinwoo as his presence started to lower, that even with his above average appearance, he may get ignored.

"Hey Jinwoo, isn't this nerve racking, if I mess this up everyone will have a bad first impression of me" said by Jinho in a hush tone to Jinwoo who was sitting next to him.

"Yeah" said by Jinwoo in an emotionless voice like before.

"Good thing were in the middle of the class, so even by randomly pointing we will have a lower chance of being pick" said by Jinho as he started thinking on what his introduction will be.

But what was strange was that Jinho didn't seem to notice the subtle changes that Jinwoo went through.

"Okay class, we will go in an alphabetical order for our introductions, first is... Ae Karin" said by Shadow Monarch.

"Okay teacher" said by a girl who was in front of the class.

"I am Ae Karin, my hobbies are singing, art, dancing.... (insert hobbies of that seemingly perfect girl idk) and those are my hobbies. And my quirk is... it allows me to make anyone stronger physically! So you can always have me in your back!" said by Ae Karin as her hands glowed with a rainbow of colors.

"Woah, isn't that quirk very strong Jinwoo, she could even buff herself" said by Jinho to Jinwoo in a hushed tone while secretly pointing at Ae Karin.

"Yeah, isn't that a peculiar quirk, as if she's specifically made as a support character in an adventurer party" said by Jinwoo in a peculiar tone.

"Yeah, and is she had healing capabilities, she would've been the saint in the hero's party. She would revive the downed party members of the party while fighting the demon king and then marry the hero once they save the world" said by Jinho with passion while creating fantasies of having a harem in a fantasy world and being the destined hero.

"Meh, I never had those dreams of grandeur, and why are you so fixated on those fantasy stuff, if you think about it this world is basically fantasy when compared to the times without quirks" said by Jinwoo in a bored tone as he looks at the students who are introducing themselves one by one.

Then SM went to call out more students as they went to introduce themselves.

Some of them had strong quirks and others had weird and peculiar quirks but with them being here, you will know they developed their quirks quite well.

After a while, SM went to call out a particular person that Jinwoo recently met.

"Cha Haerin, please introduce yourself" said by SM and a student with blond hair, wearing expensive clothing and stuff, with a very sharp gaze that makes one avoid her, Cha Haerin stood up.

"My name is Cha Haerin, hobbies, (insert hobbies of a young mistressz mmaye art or buying stuff idk) and that is all. My quirk allows me to" pause by Cha Haerin as she smugly opened her hand.

And then five balls of the five elements appeared and everyone there was shock, to think someone would have control over fire, water, earth, lighting and wind.

"Wow" many hush voices were surprise at her very powerful quirk.

"Good job, Cha Haerin, you may now sit down" said by SM and Cha Haerin sat down with a very smug face that makes one want to punch her if she wasn't rich.

'Oho, another one correct. So she would be the arrogant tsundere maybe love interest of the protagonist. And with her quirk she would be the perfect mage' thought by Jinwoo in interest.

"Hey Jinwoo, her quirk is so strong right. To think she would have control over the five elements is so op" said by Jinho to Jinwoo in a hush voice

"Yeah" was the response given to Jinho as he went to inspect the other students more.

Then after a while, it was his turn to introduce himself.

"Uh, Sung Jinwoo, its your turn to introduce yourself" said by SM

Then Jinwoo went to stand up slowly and look around the class as all of them look at him.

"My name is Sung Jinwoo. Hobbies, none. My quirk allows me to win, that's all" said by Jinwoo in an emotionless tone.

'Sigh, another persona to keep in mind' thought by Jinwoo as he made another mental character template in his mind scape.

After hearing his introduction, many of the students got a bad first impression on him.

"Bruh, your introduction was trash" said by Jinho to Jinwoo jokingly.

But what he got as a response was just Jinwoo nodding.

And after a while, it was Jinho's turn.

"Yung Jinho, its your turn" said by SM which caught Jinho off guard for a bit but he quickly regained his composure and stand up with confidence.

"My name is Yung Jinho, my hobbies are anime, manga, play games, (hobbies a typical rich weeb/rich normal person would have) and that's it. And my quirk is... this!" said by Jinho as a flash of light formed in his hands that became a sword.

"And that's not all" said by Jinho as the sword started to float.

"My quirk allows me to make any weapon that I know and control it telekinetically" said by Jinho smugly.

The whole class clap their hands appreciating his presentation.

"Okay, now that the whole class has finish their introductions, we will go to the field and do our first test" said by SM.

"Put on your PE uniform and meet me at the field by 8:30, dismiss" said by SM as he dissapeared by being suck into the shadows below him.

"Woah, a test already" said by Jinho in surprise as he and many students stood up and went to the locker room.

"Well what do you expect, its the number one school in South Korea anyways" said by Jinwoo in lax tone while walking to the locker room.

After the class walk for while, they finally reach the locker room for Class 1-A and the male and female students went to there respective rooms.

Then the male and female students took out their uniforms and put on the new uniforms specifically made for strenuous physical activites.

After a while, all of the students went out with a all black comfy suit that has a constant cool temperature that counteracts the hot sun rays.

After a while, they walk out of the building and reach a large open field, and there they saw SM in the shadows.

AN: Oh no! I am starting to master the forbidden art of filler, and what's worse is that I am starting to delve into the forbidden arts of Cliffhanger.

I might actually be a fucking dense romance anime protagonist. My whole worldview fucking change in the span of minutes like the revelation of god entered my mind and made me enlightened as I now know the truth and how stupid I truly was.
