Chapter 30: Prodigy V.s Prodigy

As the 20 minutes were eloping Enel was putting bandages around his fists and arms as from his last fight he was cut up a lot more than he'd like to think. "Hey, electro-dork!" Bakugou said as Enel turned around "what do you want Bakugou?" Enel asked as he was wrapping himself up around his ribs. "You better not lose this fight" Bakugou said as more and more people walked in to encourage Enel. However the same couldn't be said for Todoroki. As he bandaged some cuts on his face and iced himself down to calm his body. He was met with a voice he didn't want to hear. "You did good out there, i'm expecting better results out there for this match" a man said as Todoroki coldly sighed "wasn't planning on it in the first place" Todoroki said as the man walked out. "*knock knock* mind if i come in" Izuku asked as Shoto gave a faint smile. "Sure, I don't see why not," Shoto said as Izuku entered the room. "So..uh, what's on your mind?" izuku asked as Shoto exhaled, "I'm just trying to bandage my wounds and prepare myself for this battle. About what you said during our fight-" Shoto said as Izuku awkwardly interjected " oh that, uhm, sorry if it got you mad or something, i was just trying to help" Izuku said as he scratched the back of his head and looked away. "It didn';t get me mad, it was the opposite actually. I wanted to thank you for saying that, maybe after this i'll treat you to lunch, just as a proper thank you" Shoto said as he put a shirt on. "Y-yeah, that sounds good. I hope you do well in your match, Enel is a pretty tough opponent to be up against, do your best" Izuku said as Todoroki smiled "thank you Izuku, i'll try my hardest" Todoroki said as he was finished suiting up for his match.

"ALRIGHT FOLKS, NOW THAT THE 20 MINUTE INTERMISSION IS DONE, GET READY FOR THE FIGHT BETWEEN THE TWO PRODIGIES OF CLASS 1.A, SHOTO TODOROKI V.S ENEL KAMINARI!" Mic shouted as the crowd shouted in excitement. Todoroki walked from the right side of the arena as Enel walked from the left. Both bandaged up in their respective places. "3..2..1 FIGHT!" Mic shouted as Todoroki quickly swiped his left hand and sent a massive wave of ice at Enel. Enel was able to split the wave of ice in half as he made a lightning spear to counter the attack. "I'm not playing any games here, i can already feel some wounds reopening from countering" Enel thought as he dashed at Todoroki at impressive speeds. "He's fast!" Todoroki thought as he stomped his foot on the ground and froze the area right in front of him. "Shit" Enel thought as his leg was caught in the attack and was frozen. "Take this" Shoto thought as his left hand engulfed itself in bright orange flames. Shoto then tried to blast Enel with his flame but was surprised when Enel countered with his own attack. Enel fired a cero the moment Shoto shot his flames. Both attacks clashed at point blank range creating a small explosion that melted the ice and pushed both of them back. "*huff* shit, my ribs feel like shit right now" Enel thinks to himself as he takes a deep breath and clasps his hands together before a bright blue light opens between them. "Don't get it twisted, me and you aren't equals in any way shape or form, you may be a prodigy with daddy issues but your quirk is naturally perfect. You never had to truly train how to use your quirk or train at all, it's people like you that disgust me" Enel said as he spread his hands apart. As a bright blue lightning spear with wispy tips on the back of it. "I'll end this" Enel said as before Shoto could even blink Enel was behind him. "He disappeared" Shoto thought as he tried to freeze what was behind him but was too slow as he was hit right in the ribs by the lightning spear. Shoto was sent sliding across the arena as Enel then dashed in front of him and kicked him into the air. "Gak!" Shoto said as Enel appeared above him and spiked him down back to the arena. Shoto hit the ground hard but was able to recover as he made a glacier of ice right in Enel's direction. "I need to think! Don't attack where he is, attack where he's going to be" Shoto said to himself as he tried to predict where Enel would attack next. Enel landed on the glacier and blitzed down it, dragging his spear through the ice, cracking it as he went. "NOW!" Shoto thought as he shot flames at where he thought Enel would be. Enel dodged this attack and grabbed Shoto by the face as he ran onto the arena and slammed him into the ground. "Stay down, or else" Enel said as Shoto grabbed his leg and tried to freeze his entire body. "Clever" Enel said as his entire body was frozen in ice. "There, it's done-" Shoto said as he slowly stood up just to see that lighting started to crackle around the frozen Enel. The ice cracked as Enel was free but insanely cold. His body temperature had dropped to 70 degrees fahrenheit. His anger started to boil over as he felt something whispering to him. "You're better than him, you're better than all of them, you'll never be weak again, use it, let it's power course through you, you'll be stronger than anyone who stands in your way" the voice whispered as Enel gave in to whatever was talking to him. The mark on his neck felt like it was burning as it turned from its usual black to a bright orange and red as the markings spread. It spread to about halfway across his body before it stopped and turned black again. Enel's lightning slowly turned from its usual bright blue to a deep purple with a black outline. Enel gained a wicked smile as he crushed the lightning spear in his hand and made a new one that matched the color of his lightning."I'll finish this now" Enel said while slowly walking towards Shoto. Shoto feared for his life as he tried his hardest to summon more power. Shoto's right arm froze over as he swiped his arm sending massive spikes of ice at Enel while his left was engulfed in flames as he blasted a wave of flames at Enel. Enel saw the attacks coming at him as he slid as he retaliated with his own. "Cero Oscuras" Enel said in a deep voice as black and purple lightning swirled in front of his index finger and was fired as a wave at the combined attack shoto fired at him. Shoto's attack was completely engulfed and was hit by Enel's attack. "Shit!" Shoto thought as there was a massive explosion that shook the crowd. Smoke was thrown up and black and purple electricity crackled in the smoke. As the smoke cleared everyone saw that Shoto was unconscious outside of the ring in a massive crater in the wall, with purple electricity crackling on his body. Enel was in the ring with his finger still pointed in Shoto's direction. "Uhhh…Enel Kaminari wins and moves onto the final round. Akido Bryce has been disqualified for an excessive use of lethal force and nearly killing his opponent" Mic said as Max wasapporached by Aizawa "your up" Aizawa said as Max stretched "yeah, i figured it'd be Enel who'd be my opponent" Max said as he prepared for his match
