Chapter 12

Zuri's POV:

I woke and searched for Eliza. I wanted to see her but when I went to her room I found it empty. That girl had snuck out in the middle of the night. I stormed back to the main room.

"Who was on night watch last night!?" I demanded

A girl and boy stepped forward. Aiko and Dabi. They were some of the oldest of the group and Dabi was raised around heroes. They should be some of the most qualified.

"You two follow me. The rest of you rock paper scissors ultimate. The top two can go have some fun."

They all excitedly started playing and Aiko and Dabi trailed behind me. I led them to Eliza's room to show them it was empty.

"How did you not see her leave!?" I yelled

"Dabi was asleep all night." Said Aiko

"No I wasn't! She's lying to you. I was up most of the night while she slept." Dabi argued

"Aiko don't lie. Dabi you shouldn't lie either. If one of you doesn't confess I'll get you both kicked out."

"Like I should care if he gets kicked out."

"You shouldn't but you would care if they took you back to the asylum wouldn't you?"

"I still didn't do it."

"Fine, I was asleep." Admitted Dabi

"No you weren't" I said "It most definitely was her. Go now. I'll make sure she gets punished appropriately."

He left me alone with Aiko. I grabbed her wrists and put special handcuffs around them removing her powers. She didn't fight as I brought her with me out to the main room where the two winners had just left.

"I would like to demonstrate what happens to traitors. Invisiman follow me and make sure you have your camera recording live."

I walked out of the hideout dragging Aiko behind me. I walked her down to the school and that's when she started to struggle. I didn't let her go and had Invisiman make us both invisible too. I forced her up to the door of apartment number 256. I knocked on the door and motioned to Invisiman who made her visible again. A boy with purple hair answered the door. Perfect, this was going exactly to plan. I pushed Aiko inside and slipped in after her.

"Mom?" The boy asked after a while

"You are not my son. I have no son." said Aiko in her usual cold hearted fashion

"Mom it's me Hitoshi. I'm your son. You left me when I was young."

She turned away as another boy walked in. She seemed surprised she saw him.

"Noel Monoma? I made Kenny kill you. How? Did he fail yet again as he does at everything?"

"I'm Neito Monoma. Noel's my grandfather. Who are you? Who's Kenny?"

"Kenny's my dad." A third boy said walking into the room "I'd guess you're Toshi's mom, Aiko, correct?"

"Kenny's your dad so you must be Denki. You're all over the news they made me watch in the asylum. You know your dad is the reason I'm here today. He was the reason for his mother's death and his aunt's. He killed Hibiki, in fact he tried to kill Hitoshi. Hibiki's the only reason he's still here."

"What do you mean he's the reason for his mom's death? She died of a sickness and his sister killed his aunt."

"You really believe that. I killed them both. Hope was suffering. I helped her. I was going to bring her the medicine she needed but Kenny showed up and then exploded the warehouse. Then when I tried to steal for more money he was careless and let her find the stuff. He returned it and by the time he came back she was long gone. Jackie was a smart one. As a cop she had access to the files about her sister's death. She figured me out so I had to kill her too."

This was getting good. Aiko was confessing her crimes and soon they would call someone in to take her away. Hitoshi continued staring at his mom the whole time she spoke. His face had fallen by the time she had finished. He knew she was evil now. Once the police got here I would have to leave too so I pointed at an area for Invisiman to leave his camera and he climbed up there before setting it down. We would watch the footage when we got back and he could grab it later. Soon after I heard sirens and moved closer to the door. There was a loud knock and Denki opened it to find the police.

"Mikaela O'Reilly you're under arrest!" yelled the officer

"Nobody under that name here." said Aiko

"Mikaela?" asked Hitoshi "Is that your real name?"

"No my name's Aiko! Plus I'm married I have no relation to the O'Reilly's"

"You're Mikey!" Exclaimed Denki "My dad's sister. My aunt."

"Doesn't that make you and Toshi cousins?" asked Neito

Both Denki and Hitoshi looked like they were going to faint and I nearly laughed at them.

"It would but I'm not his mom anyway! He doesn't have a mother and he doesn't have an aunt!"

"We do have reason to believe Hitoshi was stolen from his parents when he was young. However she is still Kenji's sister." the police officer interfered "Now come on we need to bring you back to the asylum."

He dragged Aiko out of the apartment and me and Invisiman followed after.
