Derek maintained eye contact with the rider while removing his jacket. His top and pants stuck to his body as the heavy torrent continued relentlessly.
The sky felt sad about this battle.
He moved some strands of his hair that stuck to his face and gripped his blades tightly. The downpour was so loud that they could hardly hear themselves from the ten-meter distance.
The rider drew a curved Katana and the silver blade shimmered with water droplets bouncing on it. The sharp edge shone with a lethal orange glow, and Derek knew that Katana wasn't an ordinary one.
She took out the dagger strapped to her thick thighs and the golden engraving gleamed softly. While her combat suit looked quite simple, its defensive power was triple times better than the ones worn by the Guardians.
