So Gao Guang wasn't actually trying to mock the Armored Group, although it did sound like mockery. He was giving the Armored Group a way to step down gracefully.
Even though there were quite a number of people here, it was only a few dozen at most. Feeling disgraced was a matter for those present, but for the Armored Group, it was an opportunity to gracefully retreat.
After all, you could say that the Armored Group had cooperated with Gao Guang in surrounding Ottolov, allowing Gao Guang to finish him off with a single shot, rather than having Gao Guang take out Ottolov under their protection, amidst many layers of defense. The two versions are vastly different when spoken of.
After all, Gao Guang didn't want Warfire Group to start fighting with the Armored Group just to protect him. An underground struggle was one thing, but direct conflict was something else entirely.
