Chapter 32. Abhimanyu Mahardika.

Naya accelerated her footsteps as soon as she saw the man in front of her stopped.

 "Wait," said Naya, catching her breath which was still panting.

 The man just stood there.  He then decided to continue his footsteps without looking back.

 "Abi, wait!"  shrieked Naya.

 The man finally turned around, facing Naya.  Naya rounded her eyes, she almost burst into the man's embrace.  Naya's eyes lit up at the man she had been looking for for a long time.  Finally, the meeting took place.  Inner Naya.

 "Abi, is this you?"  said Naya in a trembling voice.

 "Yes, I am Abi. Abhimanyu Mahardika," he said deliberately, giving a pause, to give Naya a chance to appreciate her true feelings.

 Naya covered her mouth, it was true that this man was Abi, her best friend and the person she had liked since five years ago.  Naya has taken steps to hug Abi immediately, but only two steps Naya has stopped.  As if he remembered something.  Wait, Naya then frowned.  Naya realized something was wrong.  Abhimanyu Mahardika?  Why is the last name different?  But I'm sure, this is the Abi I know.

 "Who are you? Why are you calling me?"  asked the man.

 The eyes that had been staring at Naya with joy, have now turned cold.  Cold as snow he stared intently into Naya's eyes.

 "What?!"  Naya could hardly believe her ears.

 Do you not recognize me?  How can?  What has happened?  Ah I know, maybe he doesn't know me because of this change in my appearance, it must be very different from before.  Yes, it must be because my appearance has changed.  Surely Abi did not think that the ugly duckling could change.  Naya said to herself.

 "Seriously? You don't recognize me? I'm Naya, your best friend from school. Yes, I've changed. It's no longer the ugly duckling," Naya explained with a smile.

 "Sorry, I don't have much time for bullshit. Maybe you're the wrong person," he said casually.

 Abi left without being interested in hearing Naya's words again.  Abhimanyu's attitude was so cool.

 "Wait! I'm not finished. Listen to me first," said Naya, holding Abi's arm.

 "Sorry miss, you better not bother me. Or, should I call security?"  he said no kidding.

 Instantly the smile on Naya's lips faded.  She was surprised by the words of the man in front of him.  Abi forcefully pulled his hand, freeing himself from the grip of Naya's hand which began to loosen up.

 Impossible!  Naya looked sadly at Abi's departure.  Naya is disappointed with Abi's attitude.  Naya was sure that it was Abi whom she had known for many years.  Even though her last name is different, Naya is sure that it is Abi she knows.  All parts of Abi have not changed much.  Only the appearance and manner of dress have changed.

 Actually what happened to Abi?  Why is he acting like that to me?  Has something happened in the last four years?  Or maybe Abi lost his memory?  But why?  I have to find out.  Naya said to herself.  So many questions arose in his mind.

 "Wow, great. See, who this is? Oh, after approaching the current chairman, she approached Young master Mahardika? You didn't think you were so cunning."  Fisa returned to pressure after pressure on Naya.

 "Yes, I didn't expect it. I was also initially fooled by her innocent face."

 "I did not think she would be this cute."

 "That's right I said. You have to be careful with this girl. You can be used by her. She could just stab you in the back."  Fisa continues to sow salt.

 "Enough! You're going too far. Stop badmouthing me" protested Naya.

 "Why are you angry? So scary. You who cheat, why blame me? I'm just telling the truth."  said Fisa in an annoying tone.

 "Yes, I didn't expect it. Naya can be like this."

 "It's useless."  Naya cut the path, removing those who got in the way.

 "See? She left. Hahaha. You loser just then went straight away."

 "Yes, you say right. I will trust you more from now on."  Said her fellow competition participants.

 Fisa and her friends looked at Naya with scornful eyes.  Fisa is happy because she can provoke her friends to hate Naya.  That way, Fisa can maintain her position as the most popular girl.

 Duh, huh?  If her talent is to be a hater, negative words and thoughts will always be produced.  You have to be strong Naya.
