Chapter 4

Ryan's POV

Bernard licking his lips is the hottest thing I've ever seen. I leaned in and touched his full lips with mine. It is so soft. He started to kiss me back after the initial shock.

Hands roaming around my chest. I gently bit his lower lip and he gasped. I kissed his lips once again and moved to his jawline. Started kissing his chiselled jaw.

His hands are moving to my hips and he is moaning loudly. Despite being older than me I don't think he has much experience.

"Alpha…". There was a hesitant, almost whisper-like call behind us. I turned to see my omega standing there in black dress pants and a nice white button-down. It is a little big on him but that made him look cute.

I smiled and motioned him to come over."Come here, sweetheart"... I sat at my earlier chair and he came over and stood next to me. Staring at the floor. I pulled him into my lap and addressed both of my mates.

"We are going to meet my parents. Our mating ceremony will be in the evening. Behave accordingly beta, bernard."I warned him. He was looking at Alex who is unconsciously cuddling into my chest. Omegas are like that. They crave affection but they are so fierce when they want to be. "Bernard, are you listening to me?".

"Yes, my prince. But for your future information I'm the son of a Duke and was taught manners and social drama before alphabets".

He answered and I was looking at the tiny bite mark I left on his bottom lip. I nodded and looked at my omega. He was fidgeting his hands and was nibbling at his bottom lip. Oh god…This is not time for the hard-on. Control

"You will be okay, little one. Don't worry". I cupped his face and said.

"Y-You said his highness king won't l-like a commoner as your mate and I don't know what to do."

I smiled at his innocence and kissed his temple.

"Don't be afraid. Just be yourself and my dad and mom will like you immediately. Father can't do anything but accept you". He nodded shyly at me. I smiled and kissed his nose this time.

There was a movement of a chair and turned up to see Bernard walking towards the balcony railing.

I took a look at the time and decided that it was time to go. I motioned Alex to stand up and I stood up too.

"Come on Bernard, It's showtime".

Alex's POV

Oh my god. I'm the future ruling omega. Just being a temporary caterer changed my life. Thanks to John. John is my best friend and he found out that one of the palace guards is his mate. I was just filling in for him for the last two hours of the ball. Then walked towards me the crown prince of Shinzel along with Bernard. I never thought Bernard would be my mate. I don't want to dwell in the past, so I just acted like I didn't know him. He is so handsome. His hair is longer and curlier than the last time I've seen him. And the Prince, photos and videos don't do justice to the Greek god of a man. He is so gentle and caring. I like that about him. We are walking to the elevator. The shirt that Sean put on is itching my back. But I can't scratch. The nobility doesn't scratch and rub their shirts, do they? They are always put together. I need to be half as perfect as them. Then the king will accept me as his son's mate.

We entered the elevator. Bernard, with a face harder than stone, walks on the other side of the prince. Prince's hand on the small of my back. It's very calming and comforting.

He pressed the button for the second floor. I'm thinking about the kiss I walked in on. Prince and Bernard, are so beautiful together. Bernard is a great match for the prince. He said so. And he seems confident now whereas I'm, in clothes larger than me, an average looking man that smells of pasta. Why my god. Why did you pair me up with the king and Bernard? They are so handsome and noble and smell like heaven.

Don't Alex…Have some self-confidence…

My inner self admonished me. Yes. I will be confident and try my best to become the mate they deserve.

We reached our floor and walked out of the elevator. I was so nervous and sweating. I think I'm going to pass out. I felt someone cupping my cheek and looked up to see the prince looking at me with a gentle expression.

"Take deep breaths, love. You will be okay."

I mimicked his breathing patterns and calmed my nerves somewhat.

"Can we move now, if the drama is over?"Bernard asked with an angry expression. Why is he angry? I didn't do anything to him. This is not the time Alex.

"I'm ready, my Prince."

"Ok love, come on, you too bear."

We headed to a big Hall. Its door is wider than my entire home. The door opened at our arrival and we stepped into the dining room. The table can easily accommodate 50 people.

The king was sitting at the head of the table and ruling beta and omega by his side. Near the Beta sat the young omega prince and opposite him sat his sister. Prince Brion was near the princess. All were smiling broadly at us.

"Wow brother, you found both of your mates, that's so wonderful."Prince Brion stood.

The king suddenly stood up and his spouses followed suit. They started walking towards us. I don't know what to do. I stood there like a statue. None of my mates is moving either.

King stood before us with a warm smile and addressed his son.

"Son, Introduce your mates."

Oh my lord…here comes the moment. Don't pass out Alex. Be calm. I look to the ruling beta and then omega. They are looking like kids in a candy shop. So happy and giddy. They noticed my look and gave me a reassuring smile.

"Father, this is my beta mate, Bernard William Arthur, son of duke Arthur, "Prince said and Bernard bowed to them.

"You are our son's mate, you are part of the family. No need to bow, son."King said.

"Welcome to the family, son". Ruling beta said and came forward to engulf Bernard in a hug. And Prince's hand came to the small of my back. Oh, I guess it's my turn.

Don't pass out…don't pass out…

I was repeating that in my head.

"This is my omega mate, his name is Alexander Nigel."

King smiled at me, "Welcome to the family son". Ruling beta hugged me and his omega followed. That was easy. I thought and sighed in peace. But it doesn't last long.

"So tell me, Alex. Which is your province? Which duke is your father?".

I don't know how to answer that. I decided to face the arrow.

"My father is not alive, my king. And I'm not a duke. I came here for a catering job".

I don't know what came over me. I talked to the king of Shinzel without stuttering. I'm proud of myself. But when I looked up, everybody including the king was looking at me like I'm an alien.

"Here comes the drama". Bernard whispered behind me. Oh my god…why mee...
