Lin bit his lips and glanced at Ava, who was still staring at the abomination in front of them, frozen in shock. He clicked his tongue. He knew exactly what she was thinking. He knew it the moment he saw those human faces on its stomach, but he also knew that they couldn't just stay there, waiting for the monster to make a move.

All of a sudden, Ava screamed in agony, as she collapsed on the ground. The monster roared as though it was responding to her, and charged at them at full speed.

"Shit!" Lin pulled Ava to his side and immediately jumped out of the way, narrowly evading the monster.

"Behold," Andrew Smith, spoke with a smile on his face. "This is our god's new creation. The living embodiment of our clan's worship, our beliefs, and our faith. He is the son of God!"

Lin glared over icily when he heard his voice.
