The crowd started to gather, their eyes fixed on the spectacle.
The clash between the top powerhouses in the universe was exceedingly rare.
Well, except for Heimdall and Valina.
Thor and the others were completely baffled.
"Dad, who's that incredibly strong stranger?" Thor asked point-blank.
Frigga, tearful and in pain, replied, "That's no stranger."
"You should call him brother! His name is Caesar," Frigga continued.
Thor, Sif, and the others were utterly stunned.
Thor quickly interjected, "I have a brother?"
"But why is he fighting Dad?" Thor couldn't comprehend.
"Perhaps it's because of your sister," Frigga responded again.
Thor was completely frozen in place.
Not only did he suddenly have a super strong brother, but this brother was also fighting with his dad.
And the reason for the fight might be for his sister?
What?
Who am I?
Where am I?
What happened?
Thor, Sif, and the others were confused, unable to find answers.
Because the battle between Caesar and Odin was escalating.
In close combat, Odin could no longer keep up with agile attacks due to his aging body.
So he gave up on melee and resorted to other tactics.
He pulled back and then waved Gungnir, unleashing rainbows and lightning bolts one after another at Caesar.
Caesar smiled.
In a battle of attrition, Caesar, with the Space Gem, had never been defeated.
Considering the spectators and the whole of Asgard, neither Caesar nor Odin unleashed their most devastating attacks.
Instead, they condensed their energy to the extreme.
Then came the most violent collision.
The sea churned up massive waves, and countless droplets splashed onto the onlookers in the heartless hall.
The ground began to tremble slightly, even from just the aftermath of their clash, making all of Asgard shake.
The guards of Asgard had all arrived.
But at Frigga's suggestion, they didn't rush into the fray.
With the Asgard Legion's current strength, stepping onto the battlefield against the top powerhouses in the universe seems like a suicide mission.
The rainbow energy emitted by Odin's Gungnir started to dim, not because Odin lacked power, but because Thor had shattered the Bifrost.
Now, Gungnir in Odin's grip couldn't tap into the full energy of Bifrost anymore.
Bifrost was the linchpin of Asgard's power, and its destruction meant trouble.
Had Bifrost remained intact, Odin could have unleashed its might directly against Caesar, even with Caesar wielding the Space Gem, whose power seemed limitless.
However, it was uncertain whether Caesar could withstand the combined might of Odin and Bifrost, despite the Gem's boundless energy being restricted to momentary bursts.
Odin frowned, a flash of determination crossing his weathered face.
The prospect of a fierce battle seemed to reignite his old pride.
With Bifrost destroyed and energy limited, the aging Odin couldn't hope to outlast Caesar and his Space Gem in the long run.
Odin was aware of this, prompting him to opt for a decisive final strike.
After a moment of hesitation, Odin bellowed, "Don't perish, Caesar!"
Upon hearing Odin's cry, Caesar snapped to attention.
Odin's body arched backward, left hand extended forward, Gungnir held aloft in his right hand.
Mystical runes adorned Gungnir's shaft as it glowed brilliantly.
With a swift motion, Odin thrust Gungnir forward, propelling his entire body.
This was Odin's ultimate attack: Meteor Strike.
A blow to end all blows, unstoppable and all-penetrating.
"No!" Frigga cried out as Odin raised his hand, disregarding his own safety as he charged towards them.
In her mind, nobody could withstand this blow unscathed, not even the once-mighty Flame Giant Sirte, who had been crippled by a similar strike.
Varina rushed to Caesar's side upon seeing Odin hurl Gungnir, willing to shield him with her own body.
But it was futile against a force like a shooting star, swift and overpowering.
The Meteor Strike was too swift for the eye to follow, too potent for words.
In an instant, it seemed as if Gungnir had pierced Caesar's chest, a devastating blow that transcended all defenses.
It seems like it's turned into quite the showdown. Gungnir, embodying rule and power, aimed for Caesar, who couldn't quite grasp its trajectory, even with his Space gem's help. Despite extending space before him, Gungnir pierced through effortlessly. Caesar, realizing he couldn't block it head-on, stretched out his hand, revealing the Space gem.
In a clash between Gungnir's unstoppable force and the Space gem's cosmic essence, there was no cataclysmic clash or dazzling light show. Gungnir simply fell, unable to overpower the Infinite Gem. Only the Infinity Gems possess such might, their unity representing the universe's essence.
Afterward, Caesar swiftly concealed the gems, leaving onlookers stunned. Even Valina and Heimdall could barely catch a glimpse of what happened. Blocking Odin's meteor strike was no small feat, leaving everyone in disbelief.
Frigga halted her advance, recognizing the turning tide. With Gungnir in hand, Caesar pressed forward, capitalizing on Odin's weakened state. Despite lacking Odin's divine power, Gungnir still lent its strength to Caesar, tipping the scales in his favor. With Loki's previous trickery in mind, Caesar knew how to utilize the weapon to its fullest, sealing his victory in an instant.
