Choice, Choice Again

"I will solve this problem for you and protect you," Black Bolt declared. "But after this is over, the covenant between the Inhumans and the Skrull Empire will end!"

"The Inhumans only wish to live in peace and have no desire to compete for dominance in the universe!"

Due to the potential for genetic mutations when Inhumans awaken their powers, their population is relatively small. Now that the genetic mutation issue has been resolved, their priority is to grow their population before considering any ambitions of universal conquest.

After Black Bolt spoke, the Skrull leader Talos was silent for a moment, then replied calmly, "Definitely. The Skrulls are already grateful for your help with this powerful enemy. We dare not ask for more."

A Skrull beside Talos seemed to want to step forward and speak, but Talos stopped him. This was Talos' son, Taerks. Once these secrets were unlocked and integrated, they could harness mutant abilities to control other mutants.

They envisioned transplanting divine power and the secrets of divine bodies into their abomination soldiers. Imagine an abomination awakening with terrifying divine powers like thunder or frost—such a force would be unstoppable. The ultimate goal was to fully integrate mutants and abominations, creating the most powerful biochemical weapon in the universe under the Skrull Empire's control.

Talos believed his plan was flawless and proceeding on schedule. However, something seemed off with Loki, the Aesir prince they had captured with great effort.

Talos didn't have time to think too much; survival was paramount under the attack of the sun god. His only hope lay in Black Bolt. As the energy blade threatened to cleave the moon in two, Black Bolt finally acted, swiftly evading and breaking through Attilan's energy shield.

Following an ancient passage constructed during the early Kree Empire era, he emerged on the moon's surface. This celestial body had been fashioned into a testing ground by the Kree to explore Earth's mysterious life potential.

In the distant past, Earth had indeed lacked a moon.

As the blade descended, Black Bolt subtly parted his lips and emitted a resonant hum. An imperceptible yet potent wave met Caesar's attack head-on. Like a sandcastle crumbling under the tide, the energy blade disintegrated, fading into nothingness.

"Black Bolt!" Caesar called out to the Inhuman warrior clad in tight, black armor with folded wings beneath his arms, a half-faced helmet obscuring his eyes, and wielding a peculiar white staff.

Among all alien races, only Black Bolt possessed the ability to effortlessly neutralize his attacks in such a manner.

"The mighty sun god!" Black Bolt's lips barely moved, yet his voice reverberated across the vacuum, defying all logic.

Caesar frowned, dismissing the oddity. Regardless, the Skrulls had to surrender Loki; there would be consequences. He had promised Tony Stark to eradicate the Skrulls.

"Hand over all the Skrulls. I have no interest in fighting you!" Caesar transmitted his words to Black Bolt as they returned to solid ground.

Every battle had its cause. Caesar wasn't averse to conflict, but he detested fights devoid of purpose.

"Impossible! Leave now and vow to never trouble the Skrulls again," Black Bolt declared with unshakable confidence. He felt no less powerful than Caesar and was undaunted by their matched abilities.

Black Bolt's unique and formidable powers posed an imminent threat to Caesar's plans for domination. Moreover, Caesar understood that the Skrull Empire held no vendetta against the Aesir gods.

"Even though the Skrull Empire's leader secretly delivered a Giant of Jotunheim to Attilan not long ago, it was still a Giant of Jotunheim."

Everything about Attilan, even the grass and trees, is within Black Bolt's awareness as long as the vibrations persist.

The Aesirs, who have been hostile to the Giants of Jotunheim for countless years, should not be interested in this conflict. There's no need to keep chasing the Skrull Empire.

Loki's identity remains a great secret. Suffering from genetic aberrations, the Inhumans, who practice feudal hierarchies, are unaware of this.

Black Bolt's voice transmission was firm, insisting that the promised oath must be fulfilled, even if it meant war with a powerful enemy. This is Black Bolt's pride.

Caesar was silent for a moment. Without further hesitation, he swung the sword of flames and directly attacked Black Bolt.
