Kidnapping Danny

"It seems that we would have to meet Tony first! Mr. Danny Rand, why don't we go and take a look together? I can introduce you to some new friends! They are fellow owners of special abilities!"

Li Yue turned to ask Danny Rand, who was standing respectfully some distance away.

"It's all up to you, Master!"

What else could Danny say? He could only agree with Li Yue!

After all, his master had left him here on his own. He had no choice but to listen to Li Yue! Anyway, it doesn't matter what he had to do, as long as he get to New York eventually!

"Alright, then it's decided! Let's go together! Master Mordo, would you like to come along with us?"

Li Yue was relieved that Danny Rand was quite easy to talk to. Being able to get him to meet Tony and the rest means the plan to make Iron Fist join the Justice League was already halfway there!

"Master, I cannot go with you: I must stay here to supervise the apprentices. After all, Kamar-Taj had lost substantial amount of sorcerers. I have to train them to replenish our ranks as soon as possible!"

Li Yue already told Mordo that he would only become a temporary Sorcerer Supreme, and that he would hand over the mantle to someone else!

Li Yue also told Mordo not to be polite to him. He was way younger than Mordo, so Mordo's excessive respect made Li Yue feel very embarrassed!

"Alright, alright. I already said that you don't have to be so polite with me. Why don't you listen to me? You may return to your duties; we'll be leaving!"

Li Yue waved his hand and said to Mordo in a helpless tone. Then, he prepared to rush to Tony's place!

Li Yue stretched out his hand to touch Danny Rand beside him, preparing to teleport. Teleportation was much more convenient than opening a portal, after all!

"Don't be nervous. I just touched you!"

Li Yue comforted Danny Rand, who flinched when Li Yue touched him!

Danny Rand's training under Lei Kung had conditioned him to instinctively dodge Li Yue's hand.

However, even though his mind reacted to Li Yue's hand, Li Yue's extreme speed didn't give him any time to actually move his body. When he realized it, Li Yue's hand was already on his shoulder!

"This... How is this possible!" Danny was filled with shock and disbelief!

"With such incredible speed, if Li Yue had been trying to attack him instead of just touching him, would he had any chance to resist?

He did hear what Li Yue had said after Li Yue touched him!

But Danny couldn't help but imagine. Indeed, if Li Yue had been trying to attack him, he would probably be dead by now!

His master had told him that while mages of Kamar-Taj have better physique than normal people and were trained in close combat, they still place much more emphasis on magic.

But all that was shattered when the Sorcerer Supreme in front of him displayed immense physical ability that surpassed his trained body. He couldn't even dodge a simple tap!

"Could this man be a fake Sorcerer Supreme?"

"Master, what is this place?"

While Danny was lost in his thought, he suddenly felt his vision blur.

When he came to his senses, he looked around carefully. He found that he wasn't in the Kamar-Taj guest reception room anymore!

"We're in Tony Stark's villa. I will introduce you to him! Also, you don't have to call me Master. Just call me Li Yue. We are actually about the same age!"

Li Yue explained to the surprised Danny Rand after retracting his hand!

"Hey there, Li Yue. Your ability is so convenient as always; I called you barely a minute ago!"

A voice suddenly called out to them while Danny was looking around his surrounding after Li Yue explained where they were.

Danny turned to the source of the voice and found two people walking side by side.

"Hi, Dr. Banner, long time no see. How have you been?"

Li Yue acted like he didn't see Tony and instead greeted Banner, who was walking next to Tony!

"Long time no see, Mr. Li Yue. I've been doing well, actually! Working under Stark is stressful and felt like I was squeezed of all my worth by a sketchy boss, but at least it was much better than running and hiding from the military!"

Banner revealed a simple and honest smile to Li Yue. It seemed that he got along well with Tony and even teased the billionaire!

"How can you say that, Bruce? I don't bother you when you're eating or sleeping, I just need your help on research. How am I a sketchy boss?"

Tony pretended to be hurt by Banner's words!

"Besides, we're the only one in the Justice League that have brains in our head, so we have to carry the entire team! Unlike a certain someone who did nothing all day, listening to birds and watching flowers while drinking tea and reading books without a care in the world!"

While Tony's words were ostensibly aimed at Banner, his eyes were staring at Li Yue.

"Alright, Tony, did you hack Dummy and spy on me again?"

Li Yue was a little speechless. How did Tony know about his comfortable life! Tony must have hacked Dummy's stupid firewall!

"Absolutely not! I didn't hack to Dummy! Jarvis just told me what Dummy told him!"

Tony firmly denied the blame and threw Jarvis under the bus without hesitation!

"Mr. Li Yue, Mr. Stark had actually asked me to enter—" Jarvis' familiar voice suddenly appeared to defend himself!

"Shut up, Jarvis!

"Cough cough, Jarvis' program seems to have malfunctioned. I'll have to give him a full check!

"By the way, Li Yue, who did you bring this time? Why are you bringing a man instead of beautiful girl! Are you gay?"

Tony immediately stopped Jarvis from saying any more when Jarvis tried to betray him. He then quickly changed the topic!

"Shush! You're the gay one!" Li Yue scolded Tony.

"Sigh, forget it. Let me introduce you to Danny Rand! He is from Kunlun!

"Danny, this is Tony Stark, and this is Dr. Bruce Banner!"

Li Yue proceeded to introduce everyone to each other!

"Kunlun? Where is that? That can't be in our country, right?" Tony asked skeptically.

Tony had never heard that there was a city called Kunlun in the United States! Of course, one cannot blame Tony for thinking that the white Danny Rand could be from China!

"Sir, Kunlun is a mountain located in China! It is not a city!"

Despite having been told to shut up by Tony, Jarvis continued to assist Tony by answering his question!
