Chapter 145: 1000 Huskies Battle the Hulk

"Listen to me, did you see him?" Tony Stark held a woman named Heather with one hand and pointed to a man in a suit next to them, "Did you see that guy? I'll fly past him, and you grab onto him. Understand?"

"What?" Heather clearly didn't understand.

"I will electrify your arm, so your hand won't loosen its grip," Tony Stark flew straight towards the man in the suit, "We can do this."

By the effect of the airflow, the man in the suit was blown even further away.

Tony Stark activated his thrusters again and got closer to the man in the suit.

This time, Heather managed to grab hold of the man's leg.

"See? It's simple, only ten more to go," Tony Stark flew down to the next person, "Let's play a game, Monkey Catches the Moon." Then he asked JARVIS, "What's our altitude?"

"18,000 feet, sir," JARVIS replied.

"Come on, everyone hold onto the person next to you," Tony Stark continued flying down, and this time, he managed to grab three more people.

"1000 feet," JARVIS reported the altitude.

Like this, grabbing one another, they finally reached the moment right before landing on the sea surface, and Tony Stark had captured everyone.

Then Tony Stark flew up again. When he neutralized the downward momentum, he threw everyone into the sea.

"Wow! Wow!"

Having escaped death, those people were excitedly cheering on the sea surface, waving at Tony Stark.

"Good job, everyone," Tony Stark smiled, "That was great, everyone cooperated so well, well done, it was beautiful."

"Alright, JARVIS, we've completed half, now let's go save Pepper..." Tony Stark said as he turned and flew away, carrying the aura of having just rescued 13 people. His turn was indeed stylish and handsome.

However, just as he turned around, a big truck came straight at him. With a loud bang, a pile of armor parts scattered on the ground.

The screen went dark, and the video ended here.

This ending caught everyone off guard. No one expected that the Iron Man, who was shining so brightly one moment, would be in such a miserable state the next second.

"I have to say, it was brilliant," Thor applauded, "Especially the scene where Stark was torn to pieces at the end, it really brought tears to my eyes. If there was a book dedicated to superheroes, that scene would be the classic of the entire book."

"Every piece of armor on the ground epitomized Stark's spirit of self-sacrifice, which should be remembered by all of us. Amen," James Rhodes teased.

"That scene lasted less than a second, couldn't you guys pretend not to have seen it?" Tony Stark's face couldn't help but blush. He felt so embarrassed.

"No, we couldn't," Thor said solemnly.

Soon, the eighth question appeared.

"The Hulk's tooth was knocked out?" Bruce Banner raised his right hand and couldn't help but touch his right cheek, "I really didn't expect that."

"Yeah, the Hulk is supposed to be invincible, bullets and missiles don't even tickle him, but someone managed to knock out his tooth," Steve Rogers was also quite surprised, "This person must be incredibly powerful."

"Among the four options, I think only Thor has the strength to do it," Sam Wilson said, "From the previous videos, the other three options don't seem to have the combat power."

"As for me, just not getting smashed by the Hulk is already an achievement. It's impossible for me to knock out his tooth," Tony Stark said, "As for the Scarlet Witch, I don't think it's very likely either. Although her magic is powerful, it's still not enough to take on the Hulk."

"Based on what we know from the Age of Ultron plot, the Hulk was mind-controlled by the Scarlet Witch and went berserk, and Thor, as his comrade, went to stop him and fought against the Hulk, knocking out his tooth. This also makes a lot of sense," Bruce Banner said, "I choose B, Thor, the God of Thunder!"

"No, it's not her," Steve Rogers shook his head and directly dismissed Thor's guess, "Remember the scene where she and Barton were floating in the city? She was trembling with fear on the battlefield and only had the courage to fight after Barton encouraged her. Although the Scarlet Witch is powerful, she has never experienced war and battles. She can secretly use her powers to control Banner's mind and turn him into the Hulk, but she certainly wouldn't have the courage to fight the Hulk herself."

"Captain makes sense," Bruce Banner nodded, "Perhaps, as time went on, she experienced war and battles, and maybe she gained courage. However, at that time, she had already become our friend, and there was no reason to fight her again. So, it's true that Scarlet Witch can be ruled out."

"It's not Thor, and it's not Scarlet Witch, then could it be Ultron?" Tony Stark said.

At this point, the space began playing a video.

It started with Tony Stark battling a robot in the sky, and he blasted the robot down to the ground with a single shot.

"Vibranium is about to be transported away," the robot said.

"But you won't be going anywhere," Tony Stark pointed his arm at the robot, and a missile appeared.

"Of course, I'm not leaving. I've already reached my destination," the robot, despite being beaten up by Tony Stark, remained mysteriously composed, "You will follow my line of thinking, but first, you need to catch up with Dr. Banner."

Boom!

Tony Stark fired the missile from his arm, reducing the robot to debris, and then flew into the sky.

"Seeing this beginning, it's actually Stark?" Bruce Banner felt surprised.

"I also want to know how I knocked out his teeth," Tony Stark was equally surprised, and he said to Bruce Banner, "Dr. Banner, based on that suit of armor in the video, it's evident that I couldn't have done it."

In the video, Tony Stark was flying in the sky, and he said to Jarvis, "Search for news and recordings, keywords: Hulk."

Suddenly, a series of videos appeared, showing Hulk going mad on the streets and people in panic. Tony Stark looked at them and said, "Natasha, I think I really need to use the Hypnotic Aria."

At this moment, Natasha Romanoff sat there, looking lost and forlorn. Clint Barton, next to her, said, "It's probably not possible, not for now."

It wasn't just Natasha Romanoff; Steve Rogers and Thor were also like withered eggplants, looking rather downcast.

Everyone knew that the reason the Avengers ended up like this was all because of Scarlet Witch's interference, including Hulk going berserk, all thanks to Scarlet Witch.

Clint Barton remained unaffected because he hadn't fallen under her influence.

"Everyone is under her influence," Clint Barton said, "there's no one to help."

"I'll call Veronica for help," Tony Stark said.

The next second, the camera cut to the vast expanse of space, where a satellite began to transform, launching a mass of metal.

"This is what I used to deal with Hulk?" Tony Stark looked at the mass of metal in the answer space, "It turns out to be another set of armor."

"This set of armor is placed in the sky, indicating you don't use it frequently. It was specially developed to deal with Hulk," Steve Rogers said.

"Stark, come on, Banner is our teammate. You actually developed a suit of armor to deal with him?" Thor looked displeased as he glanced at Tony Stark.

"No, it's necessary," Bruce Banner, however, seemed unconcerned and agreed, "Stark did the right thing. We must have a way to deal with Hulk. Otherwise, if he goes berserk, no one can control him."

"That's in another parallel timeline. Now, with the Clear Mind wristbands, there's no need for a specialized Hulk-busting armor," Tony Stark said.

The video continued playing.

Hulk was raging and rampaging on the streets, while the police were shooting at him in panic. However, the bullets did nothing to harm him.

Bang!

The Hulk casually kicked a police car, sending it flying. Behind the car, two policemen who were shooting at him lost their cover as the car soared away.

One of the policemen fell to the ground, lying near the Hulk.

The Hulk had no good feelings towards the guy who had shot at him. He strode over, causing the terrified policeman to sit on the ground, trembling with fear. He wanted to run but couldn't. He watched the Hulk charging towards him.

"Ah!" The Hulk roared, and with a punch, he was about to strike down the policeman.

As the policeman was about to meet his end under the Hulk's fist, a rectangular "iron plate" suddenly descended from the sky and embedded itself in front of the Hulk. The Hulk's punch landed on the iron plate.

This "iron plate" seemed to be made of an unknown material, incredibly sturdy. Even with the Hulk's punch, it remained completely undamaged, and instead, the recoil force sent the Hulk back a step.

Clang! Clang! The sky was soon filled with more iron plates falling, sticking around the Hulk. The plates combined at the top, creating an airtight metal cage in an instant.

Sounds of clangs resonated inside the steel cage, resembling the melodious bells of a temple, mixed with occasional roars from the Hulk.

It was clear that the Hulk was not content inside the steel cage and was relentlessly trying to break free. However, the cage remained as solid as a rock, completely unmoved.

"Is this made of Vibranium?" Steve Rogers couldn't help but wonder.

"The Hulk can't be suppressed like this, right?" Thor questioned, "This can't be possible? He is still very powerful."

"It's definitely not possible," Tony Stark said, "If the Hulk could be suppressed like this, then there wouldn't be a scenario where his teeth are knocked out. The Hulk will surely break free."

Tony Stark was right, and the video soon played to that point.

The Hulk couldn't break the steel cage with just a few attempts. Instead, he found another way and burst through the ground beneath him, emerging a few meters away from the cage.

As soon as he came out of the ground, he started smashing a nearby car, and inside the car was a girl, who screamed in terror.

Rat-tat-tat! The police started shooting at the Hulk again from behind.

Clang!

Just then, a suit of armor descended from the sky and landed on the ground.

If the regular armor was like a pair of long johns, this armor was the "extra-thick and padded" version of oversized long johns, or rather, winter pants. It was much taller and bulkier than Tony Stark's usual suits.

"Everyone, step back," Tony Stark said to the others, his eyes fixed on the Hulk.

The Hulk's attention shifted from the others, and he stared intently at Tony Stark's anti-Hulk armor.

"Can you hear me?" Tony Stark said to the Hulk, "That little witch messed with your mind. You are smarter and stronger than her. You are Bruce Banner."

"Ah!!" The Hulk roared again, even angrier when Tony Stark spoke.

"Okay, okay, no more talk about weak Banner," Tony Stark quickly added.

The Hulk didn't say anything, and with one hand, he picked up a car and threw it at Tony Stark. Tony Stark caught the car with both hands, but the Hulk had already charged forward and punched the car, sending Tony Stark flying.

"Fine." Tony Stark flew back up and grabbed the Hulk, slamming him into the ground. However, the Hulk retaliated with a punch, sending Tony Stark flying and crashing into a wall.

Then the Hulk descended from above and went on a rampage, pummeling Tony Stark. By the time Tony Stark realized what was happening and managed to punch the Hulk away, one of his arms was already wrecked.

"Veronica, lend me a hand," Tony Stark issued another command.

The chunk of metal that had been floating in the low orbit suddenly "dropped" a few components. These components flew towards Tony Stark's broken arm and quickly assembled into a new one.

"This thing is really handy," Steve Rogers couldn't help but praise, "This invention is really impressive."

"At least I can fight the Hulk now," James Rhodes said, "Unlike my armor, which the Hulk easily dismantled."

"The Hulk is indeed a master at breaking things," Tony Stark remarked, "He's only been here for a while, and the whole street is already torn apart."

"Stark, aren't you the same?" Thor said, "You've torn up as much as the Hulk, if not more."

"I did that to stop the Hulk, I had no choice!" Tony Stark defended himself.

"Forget it!" Thor replied, "Even when you didn't stop the Hulk before, you still caused a lot of damage. Remember when you were fighting Ivan Vanko? You flew from the south side of the city to the north side and then to the west side, destroying so many things. And in the end, Ivan Vanko detonated his armor."

"That can't be blamed on me, it's on Vanko," Tony Stark retorted, but then he quickly added, "But speaking of destruction power, I suddenly thought, what if we had a battle between a Hulk and a Husky, both with outstanding demolition capabilities. I wonder what scene that would be like."

"Stark, you're really a master at coming up with crazy ideas," Steve Rogers said, "A Husky fighting the Hulk, your imagination is quite active."

"Hulk and Husky, these two are the most proficient home-wreckers on this planet. I believe they would have a common language," Tony Stark said with conviction, "Imagine the Hulk and the Husky facing each other, the Hulk roars 'Ah,' and the Husky barks 'Woof,' and then they have a conversation like 'Ah-ah-ah' and 'Woof-woof-woof,' the scene would be very interesting."

"Shit! I have that image in my head now," James Rhodes said, "Tony, you're a devil."

"Rhodes, imagine a scene with a thousand Huskies battling the Hulk, that would be even more..." Bruce Banner interrupted Tony Stark, "Stark, you're getting more and more ridiculous."

In the video, the Hulk was not standing by like a typical TV villain, waiting for his opponent to recover. Instead, while Tony Stark was changing his arm, the Hulk charged towards him.

Tony Stark extended his right hand towards the Hulk, and with a swoosh, a bright energy beam shot out, hitting the Hulk.

The Hulk roared and continued charging towards Tony Stark, taking the energy beam head-on. When he reached Tony Stark, Tony's arm was already replaced.

The Hulk threw a punch at Tony Stark, and Tony Stark retaliated with his own fist.

A loud bang! The two fists collided, creating a visible shockwave that knocked over pedestrians around them, shattering store windows.

It was evident how powerful their punches were.

"Ah!" The Hulk roared again and charged at Tony Stark. Tony Stark grabbed the Hulk's body and tossed him, performing a shoulder throw.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Tony's left hand began relentlessly pounding the Hulk's face, making the Hulk very angry, as evidenced by his green skin turning even greener with rage.

That's why the Hulk's skin was green because he was always angry.

"Go to sleep, go to sleep," Tony Stark muttered while hammering the Hulk's face.

But he soon couldn't keep up with his muttering, as the Hulk's massive hand grabbed Tony Stark's iron fist.

But in the next moment, that fist suddenly dented inward, transforming into a metal bucket that swallowed the Hulk's fist, and no matter how hard he tried, the Hulk couldn't pull his fist out.

"Alright, big guy, we need to get you out of the city center," Tony Stark said as he carried the Hulk and flew into the sky.

Although the Hulk's destructive abilities were on par with a Husky, he was much harder to control than a Husky. There was no way he would obediently let Tony Stark manipulate him. He dragged Tony Stark into a building and started hammering him.

"Come on, Bruce, you have to cooperate with me a bit," Tony Stark pinned the Hulk against a wall and his iron hands explored all over the Hulk's body. After a couple of attempts, the Hulk kicked Tony Stark away.

Bang!

The reverse Hulk armor that Tony Stark was wearing now was massive, almost the same size as the Hulk. As a result, it was also quite heavy. Tony Stark crashed into an elevator, sending it flying out.

Fortunately, Tony Stark was quick on his feet. Just before the elevator hit the ground, he grabbed the steel cables inside, preventing it from crashing to the floor.

"Everyone, get out!" Tony Stark quickly shouted.

In truth, there was no need for him to say anything. Everyone in the elevator scrambled to escape. Who would dare stay near the Hulk?

At this moment, the Hulk leaped over, and Tony Stark kicked him in mid-air, sending him flying. Then, with both hands, he grabbed the steel cables of the elevator and used it as a weapon to smash the Hulk.

Bang!

Afterward, Tony Stark flew down to where the Hulk had fallen and delivered a heavy punch to his face.

Splat!

The Hulk spat out a tooth and glared at Tony Stark with killing intent.
