INDEFINITE HIATUS

The way back was not smooth and straight. They had finally lost the tails pursuing them. Maybe, agent Carter had some use after all.

Oh, and another thing that happened was. that Lindaddy woke up. And can you guess what the first thing he tried to do? Yep, he tried to kill himself... But there was no poison. Heck, he didn't have a few teeth either!

But did he stop at that? Nope. He tried jumping off the running car but he was tied so tightly that he could not even budge!

It was fun watching him wriggle around and then wallow in despair after no success.

In spite of all the noise, Arthur was lost in his own world. He wanted to cry to the heavens for it's unfairness. Why? Why did he end up as a target? He never wanted to do anything.

He remembered that when he came to this world, he tried saving himself. And so he killed a few enemy. Then, he was dragged into a covert operation and again killed an enemy soldier who turned out to be the commander of that unit. Anyway, when he was finally able to leave all the bloodshed behind and study to be a scholar, he found enemies again!

What could he do now? Would Hydra listen to him saying that it was all a coincidence that he spoiled their plans again and again?

The weapons that he had thrown away, it was time to pick them up again.

It was time to fight!

The two men in the back seat kept their silence.

They reached their HQ/camp.

Carter looked back at Lindaddy, who was red from his futile actions.

At the same time, a group of people came out from the building.

The one leading was Colonel Phillips. Of course, he had already received the news.

Looking at Arthur, Colonel Phillips was obviously very angry. He looked at Carter and then at Lindaddy being dragged by Arthur.

"Put him down", Colonel Phillips spoke up.

As soon as Arthur heard that, he let Lindaddy fall head first in the ground, earning a rather disgusting moan.

Colonel Phillips paused for a moment and then waved to the left and right: "Untie him, and go in."

Xia Zhi took out the file of information from his arms and handed it to Colonel Phillips.

Colonel Phillips didn't pick up the information, but directly looked at the summer night: "With your actions tonight, I can kick you out of the army!"

"It's not like you can..." - if you read this -

Arthur sighed internally, he wanted to have nothing to do with the army! But now he can't!

The military was a natural cover, and he could grow his powers there and have access to weaponry!

Colonel Phillips did have more to say, but he caught sight of the picture sticking out of the document. It was none other than his son!

His brow wrinkled, opening the document, his face turned dark: "I said, I won't let you..." -die-

He stopped short.

Looking at the soldiers around, he couldn't go on. How could he say that he didn't want his son, a soldier, to die? If his son didn't deserve such fate, then what the other soldiers? Didn't they also have a life?

He wanted Arthur to make his own family. Have children. Didn't other soldiers aspire the same?

He couldn't say the word. At least, not in front of his own soldiers!

Out of helplessness, he finally gave a long sigh.

Turning his head and looking at Lindaddy supported by his soldiers, he came near him and 5ook out all his frustration on him. A single punch to his guts and Lindaddy doubled over, falling on his knees.

"How dare you?", apparently Lindaddy still had the nerves to argue.

The Colonel threw a hard kick to his chest.

Lin Sai was kicked to the ground, stunned.

Phillips ordered two soldiers: "Bring our GUEST in, you learnt how to 'entertain' our guests, didn't you?! Do you need me to teach you how to do it? What are you waiting for!?"

The two didn't dare delay and got him to stand before leading the prisoner in.

But the Colonel's anger was far from dispersing. The ugly face kept provoking him.

A man of his standing never held back. He took the rifle of his soldier and BAM! There was a new mark in Lindaddy's face.

The two soldiers just dragged him by the arms and left.

After calming down a little, Col Phillips looked between Carter and Arthur and said: "Even if you like big butts, I still don't approve of you finding a wife in the army." and left a scared Arthur.

- What do you mean by that??? I will Never marry a square face!!! -
