*Husband*

She stared at the Target for a while before releasing the arrow and it made the bulls eye. The maids and servants all cheered for her except Xavier who just scoffed

She grined proudly at Alex before gesturing for him to try his luck. Alexander looked at her cute face and decided to make things interesting

"Elaine, if I make the bullseye, what do I get" he asked leaning closer to her

"Huh" she exclaimed confused and he finally stepped back

"If I make the bullseye then you have to give me a special gift and if I don't then you can ask me for anything at all you want" he said with finalty and Elaine thought for a while before agreeing

'he won't make it, I mean look at his stance, why would people fear a wired pervert prince that doesn't even know archery' she thought and smirked 

Alexander raised the bow clumsily and wobbled the arrow earning a chuckle from Elaine. Xavier rested by a tree watching his Lord put on an act for the princess. He was getting more fraustrated by every minute that passed.

Elaine decided to help him out and he bit his lower lip to stop himself from grinning like an idiot

"Here, I'll teach you" she said calmly and helped him hold onto the bow and arrow correctly. 

"I heard the second prince of Alvania never makes a deal  and looses but it seems it's going to be your first time, and to a girl" she grinned earning a smirk from him. He diverted his attention from the bullseye to her and leaned in closer

"The rumors are true, I always win" he said and let go of the arrow without looking at it, he just kept his gaze fixed on Elaine and her beautiful shock confused face. Elaine stared back at his proud gaze

Alexander winked at her seductively as he heard everyone cheering for him. Elaine barely heard the loud cheer due to being spelled by Alexander's charm.

"Wake up" he said to her in a hoarse voice and she finally snapped out of the trance his eyes put her in

She looked at his arrow and saw it had Pierce through her's and made the bullseye

"So, my gift?" He asked with a smirk earning a disappointed scoff from Elaine

"Wat do you want" she said then backed off from him and stared at the bullseye intently

He walked behind her and whispered into her left ear in a hoarse voice

"I want you to call me 'husband' from now on" he whispered

Elaine felt like a fire ignited in her at the sound of his voice and he's words marvelled her to no limit.

She knew some couples call each other husband and wife or Love. But that was only in the case of lovers not arranged marriages like theirs

Elaine turned and looked at him, shock written all over her face as she stared into his eyes with a piercing gaze trying to find any sign that he was only joking but he was serious. She regained herself from the shock and folded her hands below her breast

"Why?, Only people in love marriages do that and not arranged marriage" she said calmly with creased brows

"But the two in an arranged marriage could still fall in love?" He said with a charming smile that made her heart skip a beat

"I heard the princess of dystrya never goes back on her words, or was that a rumour" he said with seriousness coloured joking mockness. Elaine thought for a while and sighed before replying

"Its not a rumour, we made a deal and I always stand by my words" she said and Alexander looked at her playfully with his eyes saying 'you forgot a word' and somehow Elaine understood and sighed

"I always stand by my words......h-husband" she stuttered as she said the last word and turned away to avoid him from seeing her redned face earning a wide cute grin from Alexander

"I believe you" he said and bent over, leaning his head on her bare shoulder and Elaine felt fire ignited in her whole body. She felt like she would burn soon if he didn't back off but she didn't want him to. She loved the fire and wouldn't mind it consuming her
