Management System : Do Mission, Get Money!

Ken Spencer is in a pinch! He needs money to pay his worker next month. His saving is already used. He also can't get any investments go to his company. Suddenly a shady application appeared in his phone. No one knows that it will be the one that change Ken's financial problem. Author Note : This is a system novel, mainly focused in managing business. I don't know if people will like this, but I personally always like Business/Kingdom/Dungeon Management type of novel. Also I am amateur at writing and also amateur in business, so feel free to correct me if you found mistake in the story. (If you are amateur at writing and business, why are you writing business focused story???)

Creampuff Game Studio

Around 2 pm, Creampuff Game Studio

The studio is in a small office located at the edge of commercial zones. Housing the studio is a 7 story office building, these offices are rented with extra services like shared receptionist, phone line, internet line, and already furnished office. Because of that, the rent is a little higher than other buildings in the area, but Ken doesn't mind. He doesn't want to bother with buying desks himself or hiring a receptionist for a small team.

~~~
He just entered the studio when Ella noticed him. Ella Greenwood is the Lead Project Manager for the Chibi Robowar. She is the one that started the project and designed the game from scratch. She has been doing this project since her last year at University with 3 friends of her helping. The project was then bought by Ken and their team grow to 8 people in a year.
Ella has long brownish hair with a round face, a fit with her gentle temperament.
"Ken, you are here. Want to try the demo now? I haven't installed the demo to your PC, so if you want to try, try it here on my desk."
"I thought you would need at least two more weeks to finish the demo? That is what you said last week", Ken asked.
"Well, we finished all the important things faster than the plan. Then, we worked hard these last few days on finishing the demo. Right now we only need to wait for some art that is still not completed", Ella reported about the project while operating her computer. On the monitor, the main menu of Chibi Robowar is now projected. Ella then grinned a little and ask Ken, "Want to try?"
"You try, I will take a look first."
"The demo only contains the first four maps on mission mode. In the plan, the first world will have 8 maps, now we have finished 6 maps. The other two maps are still waiting for Iris to finish the background art", Ella moves her robot nimbly and slashes the enemy robot one by one. "While mission mode is designed to be played together, the first four maps are easy enough to be completed alone. Then I think, why not make this four map as the demo."
Mission mode is where the player can play together to obtain drop items. The drop items contain many things, from in-game currency to rare cosmetics items. Some maps also drop blueprint parts that can be used with building material to build a new robot or upgrade an existing robot.
"Ah... that's why the demo is finished early. You use the already completed part of the game. Well, nothing wrong with that though", Ken figured out why the demo is finished super early.
"Hehe, anyway with the demo finished we can start marketing the game. Problem is, I can't oversee it myself. So, can you supervise the marketing for me, Ken? I have already made the marketing plan, you just need to make sure the plan is followed."
Ken cannot help the team make the game as he is not well-versed in programming and their friends. Now there is a chance he can help in the project, he will obviously help. The marketing plan listed is only the first stage, it is composed of making a promotional video, taking a good screenshot, opening and operating social media account.
"Okay then, that is decided. You will work with Greg and Darryn as the marketing team. Greg worked on the sound design before, Darryn worked in designing the mission, their schedule is a bit open now. Meanwhile I and the other 5 will finish the game by Early September and will start testing and bug hunting right after. We will do Open Beta in mid-October."
~~~

For the next two weeks, Ken is working with Greg and Darryn, trying to shoot as many videos as possible. They also take many cool in-game screenshots. All of the produced video and screenshot that pass the selection by those three is then posted at Chibi Robowar's social media account. After those two weeks, the production of the game can be said very close to complete.

For the project all is good, development is almost finished, the game's social media follower is still increasing.

But there is a problem for Ken. Creampuff Game Studio's money is now very close to empty after most of the money is used to pay the team salary. He needs money but after the tutorial, no mission is issued again for two weeks.

Seeing how the project is now, he has decided to take a personal loan of 200,000 Fiction Dollars. It can cover salary for September, October, and November. He hoped that the project can get released sometime in November, and he can get some money back to repay the loan at that time.

At the same time Ken finished the money loan process, he noticed that there is a red exclamation mark in the system's mission menu. 'Finally! A mission'

[New Long Term Mission : Playing Around with a cup of Coffee]

[Long Term Mission is a type of mission that can span for months or even years to complete. But don't worry, there is still a reward inside even when the mission is still not completed. Users can also enter and exit the mission world at any time. Do you want to accept the mission?]

[Y/N]

Ken wondered what kind of mission is this, there is no explanation anywhere. After two weeks of nothing from the system, Ken will absolutely choose yes. Who knows when he can get another mission if he missed this one.

But before accepting it, he needs to go back to his room before accepting the mission. He doesn't know what will happen to his body when he is doing a mission. Better safe than sorry.
