Magic Martial World (Moved to WSA)

With a wave of my hand, thousands of magicsteel swords rained down on my enemies as I enjoyed a chess game with my companions. With a swing of my sword, sword kings and emperors prostrated before me as I hanged the Sword Saint's head for the world to see.  With a flick of my finger, hundreds of thousands of wizards and sages exploded into bloody mist as I used their blood and bones to pave my path towards invincibility. I am Ivan Chaos, the first cultivator in a scientific world of wizards. ______________________________________________ Disclaimers: This is a slow paced novel where learning and improving are the norm. Even when the MC is overpowered later, he'll still lose occasionally due to lack of info or techniques. _____________________________________________ I remade the cover, finally. Back to ASR.

"Name?"

"Calvin Dracomight."

"Occupation?"

"Commander of Wyvern Corps."

"Reason for visiting?"

"I'm here to visit my parents that live near the edge of this town."

"Alright, everything checks out. Please have a wonderful stay while you're here at Seishi."

The officer handed Calvin his identification card before letting the middle aged man through their town's customs.

As the town was being managed by an old graduate of Jumper Academy, that old graduate had decided to bring knowledge he had acquired from his adventures to improve his hometown.

One of the many ideas the old graduate had carried out was to improve the security of air travel between towns and cities.

Thus, Seishi was the first town in Ishgar to have its own airport.

Furthermore, Calvin was its first customer since the airport opened 20 years ago.

Calvin got his belongings back from the baggage reclaim point before he hopped on a carriage to town.

The first thing he planned to do in Seishi was to head to Basic Elementary School and meet up with his ex-classmates there.

Not all Jumper Academy graduates pursued the peak of magic and became world renowned figures.

Some graduates preferred to work in the countryside, helping out the common folk whenever possible.

So graduates becoming civil servants were common in every generation of the academy.

Calvin reached the steps to Basic Elementary School 10 minutes later.

The security guard posted at the school gate glanced at Calvin for a moment before he went back to reading his novel.

Calvin nodded at the guard before he made his way up towards Basic Elementary School's faculty building.

There, he was greeted by the sight of smiling children as well as depressed looking adults.

The children were in the middle of carving their classroom's wall into a sculpture when they were stopped by their vice-principal, Mrs Elysia, as well as their homeroom teacher, Mr. Kozu.

Mrs Elysia had a stern expression on her lightly toned face as she scolded the troublemakers who were destroying school property.

Mr Kozu on the other hand, wore a helpless expression as he was scolded along with his class' troublemakers for being unable to handle his children well.

"You can't be setting a bad example for the children, Kozu. If you show weakness in front of these children again, they won't take you seriously in the future again." [Mrs. Elysia]

"But I think that being strict all the time will have a negative effect on the children. I was just trying to lighten up the mood in my class." [Mr. Kozu]

"That's totally fine. But you were encouraging the children to use the magic they've learnt to mold the class into a maze. Not only was your class turned into a maze with no exit, you even managed to get the class next door involved as well!" [Mrs. Elysia]

"Uhh…I'm sure I already apologized to Mr. Polilany though…" [Mr. Kozu]

"That's not the point! You are a teacher in an elementary school! So act like one!" [Mrs. Elysia]

"Ugh…" [Mr. Kozu]

"Elysia, Kozu…Knock it off, you're scaring the children."

Unbeknownst to the two adults, a middle aged man had appeared behind them, patting the head of the troublemakers to stop them from crying.

"C…Calvin?" Elysia and Kozu both stared at the middle aged man in shock.

Just when they were about to get at each other's throats, their class rep appeared.

"C…C…Calvin? How…When did you arrive?"

"Just now. While the two of you muffins were quarreling." Having the children calmed down, Calvin dusted his hands before he stood up to look at the two teachers in front of him.

He had a wide grin plastered on his face.

"What are you grinning for?" Elysia, suddenly having a bad feeling, asked.

"Oh nothing…Just, when are you two muffins going to get married?" Calvin nonchalantly replied. His grin was growing wider by the second.

"M…Married? Us? Never!"

"Yeah, what she said! I would never marry this hag!"

"Excuse me?! Who are you calling a hag, you old fart??"

"Old? I'm only in my 40s! You are the one that's old!"

And just like that, the two teachers began quarreling over small matters again.

"Oh well then, I'll go see the headmaster now. Have fun with your lovers' quarrel, you two!" Calvin waved goodbye at his old classmates before he headed off to the principal's office at the end of the faculty building.

"We are not lovers!" Kozu and Elysia's refutes were ignored by Calvin.

Having reached the twin doors separating him from the headmaster, Calvin lightly knocked on one of the doors before he took a step back.

"Come in." A voice echoed through the doors.

Calvin turned the doorknob before he pushed the door open and entered the room.

Just then, a streak of white light flashed by him, forcing him to shield his eyes with his arm.

"Help me catch that man, Calvin!" Headmaster Na slammed his hands on the table and shouted.

Without a moment of hesitation, a dragon tail grew out from Calvin's behind before he whipped his tail at the streak of light.

"BAM!" The streak of light had not seen the dragon tail coming and was bounced back into the headmaster's desk like a meteor.

Papers flew into the air as a cloud of dust formed.

Headmaster Na used a bit of wind magic to blow away the dust before he recollected all of his missing papers using a wind current he chanted up.

When all was said and done, Headmaster Na went over to the rubble before he fished a girl out.

Only then did Calvin realize that the streak of light had been a person. And it was a girl to boot.

"Ugh…" The little girl groaned. She was just about to escape the headmaster's office when a tail as thick as a tree appeared in front of her and blocked her path.

"Uhhh…"

"You're here to report about Ivan's success, right?"

"Uh…Yes, Sir."

"Alright. Let's hear it."

"But the child…"

"She's fine. My daughter is stronger than you expect. Isn't that right, Sabrina?"

Late chapter! Late news! PH has won! The country has hope now!
