Chapter 38: The Most Beautiful Woman of Wano......

One week later.

Luffy finally arrived at Wano Country to recruit his next crew member.

The island of Wano Country was actually part of a larger geological formation resembling a mountain or volcano. Its center, where Wano was properly located, and edges are actually very elevated plateaus while the in-between space descends close to the sea level and was filled with fresh water.

This bowl-like composition leads to an unique waterflow where fresh water flows out of the land and into the larger New World sea through waterfalls, and atop those, there were clashing currents that lead to the formation of whirlpools. The sea water is also known to somehow flow inland, similar to Reverse Mountain, with the water itself becoming clear like a mountain river during the process

In the flower capital. . .

Luffy had gotten changed into his new clothing to avoid any unnecessary trouble.

The captain of the Devil Dragon Pirates had a purple kimono on along with a red sash that went around his waist. He had also given himself a top-knot to match the outfit of the civilians of Wano Country.

Currently he was trying to navigate through the crowded streets and find his way to Kaido's base but found it very hard to navigate due to the amount of people out and about at the particular time of day.

Luffy had managed to make it all the way to the split off between the streets and had managed to get away from most of the people, " Sigh...this street is even more crowded than the shopping malls in my previous world. " Muttered Luffy and decided to gather some information first.

Luffy then turned towards the corner but suddenly slammed head on into a woman.

The woman in question was no older than himself, was average height, and wore what looked to be a very expensive dress. But the most prominent feature the woman had was her hair colour, the colour of her hair was turquoise. Her hair was extremely adorned, with multiple flowers and pins attached to it.

She had blue eyes that were distinctively slanted at an downward angle and also fuchsia lipstick on her prominent lips. Luffy immediately recognised her as Kozuki Hiyori, otherwise known as Komurasaki.

Luffy was really surprised by his sudden encounter with the most beautiful woman of Wano Country.

" Hey watch where you're going. " The woman yelled at Luffy.

" What do you mean 'where I'm going'. You're the one who ran me over! " He responded with a tic mark on his face.

She scoffed, " Humph i have never heard such an untruthful claim before meeting you! You should apologize for your mistake. "

" WHAT! You're the one who bumped into to me! And look at that you ripped my kimono too! " Luffy yelled back and showed her the tear in his new clothes, but inwardly he just wanted to tease her a little.

She then yelled back with shark-teeth, " DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA ABOUT WHO I AM! "

" NO! AND I DON'T THINK IT'S NECESSARY TO KNOW YOUR IDENTIFY. " Luffy also yelled back with shark-teeth like her.

Their heads got closer together as a bolt of lightning connected between them. A large crowd started gathering around them, as Hiyori was a well-known figure in this area.

" I'm Komurasaki, an oiran of the dayu and the most beautiful woman of this country." shouted Hiyori without any intention of backing down. Luffy also started feeling irritated as time passed.

" WHAT THE HELL EVEN IS THAT OIRAN OR SOMETHING!!! " Luffy was really annoyed this time, so he yelled at Komurasaki he had just met. Although he liked her character in anime but seemed like in real life everything was different.

She puffed her cheeks and turned away from him sharply, arms folded across her chest, " Humph, like a commoner like you would ever know. " she said with extreme arrogance.

Luffy was fuming in anger and was about to unleash it but then he noticed the woman's wrist. It was very red and upon closer inspection it seemed to be bleeding and didn't show any signs of stopping at any time soon without a little bit of treatment.

He knew this must have caused by him when he bumped into her a moment ago, so he took a deep breath and calmed down a little.

" What, have you finally decided to shut your rambling? " She yelled back at him when Luffy remained silent for a while.

" Your wrist, it's bleeding so let me heal you. " Luffy spoke in a very calm voice, seemingly dropping his anger and rage for a moment.

Komurasaki looked at her wrist and saw it was bleeding but dismissed it immediately, " What of it! It will heal by itself, i don't need your sympathy. " Luffy having had enough of this useless argument, took ahold of her hand and moved it so her wound was on full display.

" Unhand me now! You have no permission to lay a hand on me, so let go of me otherwise you have to bear the consequences. " Komurasaki yelled out as Luffy held his other hand over her wound and started injecting his Dragon Force to heal her.

To her amazement, a warm sensation entered inside her and her wrist started shining with a clear blue light. She stopped struggling and let him continue. This lasted for a few seconds until the blue light started fading away.

When the light was completely gone, her wrist had returned to normal like the wound had never there before.

Once the captain of the Devil Dragon Pirates managed to get rid of the scar, he looked directly to Komurasaki with a neutral look and said, " If you don't mind miss i am going to excuse myself. So farewell and i hope we won't meet again in the future. " Then he started walking away in a different direction.
