Flowers Capital, Wano Country:-
Luffy walked past Komurasaki as she kept her eyes fixated on her wrist, her entirely healed wrist. She then turned sharply around and yelled out to the man she was enraged at only a few short moments ago. " Wait a minute. " she asked hurriedly.
Luffy stopped walking away from her, turned around to look at her. " You just healed me, why is that? " She asked Luffy with a quieter tone of voice.
Luffy looked at her a little puzzled for asking such a question before speaking up, " I did not mean to hurt you in the first place, so there was no reason to leave you with such a bloody wound on your wrist. "
" I see. " Komurasaki responded as she glanced down at her healed wrist once again. " Then allow me to repay the favour by repairing your ripped kimono." She asked him while looking at Luffy once again.
" There's no need for tha-" Luffy wanted to refuse but he stopped in mid way, as he realised this was a fantastic chance to gain some information and to know her personality better. He nodded before looking back at the woman before him, " Alright I'll take you up on your offer. "
.....
A few minutes later at a private residence. . .
Luffy had been led by Komurasaki to her private residence deep within the flower capital. Many guards and samurai looked over the surrounding area. The geisha had directed him to her private room.
Luffy and Komurasaki continued into another open room and the lady motioned Luffy to be seated in the centre on a sitting pillow, " So how will you fix my clothes? I don't see any machines or anything like that. " Luffy stated as he looked around from his seated position.
" I-I'll be stitching your clothes. " She said as she knelt down to his side and pulled out a sewing kit. Komurasaki then began to sew the rip on Luffy's shoulder only to see the rip go down his back a little bit further. " This may take some time. " She continued.
Luffy nodded his head in understanding, " It's fine, i don't mind the company of such a beautiful woman like you. " The room remained silent for a few moments as Komurasaki continued to sew his kimono before Luffy tried to break the tension, " So, Komurasaki was it,. . .uh what do you do? " He asked as he wanted to know about her better.
" P-Pardon me? " She questioned with a slight blush on her face, embarassed of her current profession.
" You know, like what's your job. " Luffy corrected himself and asked again.
Komurasaki closed her eyes and stopped sewing for a second before answering him, " I'm a geisha, a geisha for Orochi-sama. " She spoke out with a little bit of distaste within her voice.
Luffy nodded, " Hmmm, so you are a geisha. Does that mean you can both dance and sing reall well!!! " asked her as he was really interested in watching her performance atleast once.
The questioned accidentally made her poke him with the needle of the sewing pin, Luffy also acted like being hurt, " I-I'm sorry, it's just i...i don't really enjoy my position in life. I was once a proud daughter of a samurai and now I am silenced beneath the foot of a tyrant." She answered with a sad expression.
" What about you stranger-san? I don't recall learning your name nor your profession. " Komurasaki continued immediately after answering her question, to change the topic.
The Captain of the Devil Dragon Pirates smiled as he answered her questions, " Oh... uh well my name is Monkey D. Luffy, and I am a travelling trader. I came here to Wano to seek out business. " He told her, lying because he didn't want his identity to slip when there were so many ears around to hear him. Personally he didn't mind Komurasaki, she seemed nice and it appeared that he made the wrong judgment about her when they first met in the side street.
" You're lying. " She flat out stated which caught Luffy a little off-guard.
He started to sweat just a little bit, " W-what do you mean by that? " He stuttered as he asked her while trying his best not to change his expression.
" You're definitely not a businessman who has come here to Wano for trade. It's almost too obvious. " Komurasaki said, smiling at the last part of her sentence.
Luffy sighed as he came clean, " Fine you caught me, I'm not a businessman. But how did you find it out? " He asked her curiously, while she smiled triumphantly at his question.
She grinned as she looked at him, " Because... you just told me. " She exclaimed with a sly smile plastered on her face.
Luffy then stood up and exclaimed, " ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! " He raised his hands above his head which caused the stitches that Komurasaki put in to rip which just ruined his kimono even more.
' When was the last time i was being fooled like this? ' Luffy thought bitterly. He couldn't believe that he was tricked by a woman.
Seeing all of her hard work go down to the drain, she too stood up and pulled back her fist, " Sit down you baka! " Komurasaki yelled at him as she punched him on top of the head with so much force that it literally made Luffy's head explode into tiny colourless particles.
she watched on as his head began to reform, " W-what in Kami's name is this!? " She asked, shocked to her core, although she had seen Zoan Devil Fruit powers, still it was her first time to witness a Logia power.
Once his head had reformed, Luffy grinned a little by her dramatic reaction, " Are you surprised? This is my magical power. "
" Y-y-you have. . .magic powers!? " Komurasaki exclaimed as she brought her hands to either side of her face, which made her look very cute.
Luffy sighed as he responded to her outburst, " Of course, didn't you just see it in your own eyes. "
" Well that was truly unexpected. " She said, seemingly forgetting about the slight freakout she just had and then began to work on the sewing once again like nothing happened.
Luffy was beyond puzzled at her attitude towards his Devil-Fruit abilities, so he asked, " So that's it? You're just going to drop the whole matter like that? "
Without looking up from her sewing she responded to him, " It is not my place to ask such personal questions to someone whom I just met. "
" I understand. Anyway, why did you decide to sew my kimono back together? When we first met in the side street we have instant distaste for each other, so why though? " Luffy asked her as she looked up from her work to talk to him.
She smiled at him, " Even though we didn't get off on the right foot and we took a disliking towards one another, you still healed my wound without a second thought. Helping to repair your clothing should be a natural thing to do. " She answered, still keeping up her gentle smile.
Luffy chuckled at her response, " Hmmm, so i guess not only you are a beautiful woman, but also a kind one at that. " she smiled at his complement.
" Answer me this Luffy-san. If you aren't a businessman, then what are you? " She asked with a raised brow.
" Well hmmm, that's a little complicated. " He told her, as it would be very troublesome to explain her everything.
" Hmmm and why might that be? " She asked him again as her curiosity started rising again.
Luffy laughed nervously, " It's just a lot to wrap your head around, and very complex to explain. "
" Very well, but at least answer why you're in Wano, it peaks my curiosity to no end. " Komurasaki questioned him again while she continued her sewing.
Luffy sighed, " Fine, I'm on my way to Onigashima. " he said in a helpless tone but she began to back away from him in shock after hearing his answer.
" A-are you one of K-Kaido's men?! " She asked internally dissatisfied.
Luffy laughed, " In his dream! I'm going there to borrow something from him you could say! " he said, which calmed down Komurasaki a little.
Komurasaki smiled in relief, " I'm thankful that a good-willed man such as you isn't corrupted by those evil like Kaido and Orochi. They have brought nothing but suffering to this land. " she said while gritting her teeth in anger.
" Of course I'm the epitome of pureness and kindness. " said Luffy with a dramatic voice, Komurasaki giggled at his antics.
