Meeting an old man

Just as she inched closer, an elderly man leaning on a cane accidentally collided with her, causing her to halt abruptly.
"Apologies, child," the old man said politely. Jiang Yue was about to shake her head when sudden realization struck her like a bolt of lightning, freezing her in place.
As the old man began to leave, she grasped his arm, her voice filled with concern, "I'm sorry for bumping into you. Are you alright?"
The elderly man, with a beard and white hair, gestured with his free hand, "Ah, I'm alright, I'm alright. These old bones may not look it, but they can still handle a little nudge."
