Chapter 6 : Accident

It was morning already when they reached the airport as the villa is very far from it.

"Xiao Ruo, are you hungry?" Xu Zhixiu asked her on their way to the plane

Xu Zhiruo shook her head and only stared into empty space.

"Sigh, Xiao Ruo, we'll be back again, don't be so sad" Xu Zhixiu had noticed her not being herself since they depart. But what could he do? Their time was up so they needed to go back or else their parents will be worried.

"Hmm…. Will we meet handsome brother again? I still don't know his name yet"

It was soft but Xu Zhixiu heard it. Haih, his little sister is falling for someone else. Most importantly that person's from the outer world.

Even though Xu Zhixiu did not like Xuanyuan De, it doesn't mean he was unreasonable to stop his sister from falling for him. However, it did not matter because for Xu Zhixiu, they won't be together. After all he was just a commom person.

One month has past since Xu Zhiruo and Xu Zhixiu return to MC Island. Xu Zhixiu had been studying and practicing his skills.

As for Xu Zhiruo, she was lazy as usual. Fortunately she had not cause any trouble since then, just that she has been visiting the Meng house to play with the Meng's young lady.

MC Island was an island located in seclusion, so it was hard to find. It's size was considered big enough for an island. The top of the MC Island is the royal family. Second to them is the three major family, the Shens, the Mengs, and the Xus, which is Xu Zhiruo's family.

Meng Yingyue from the Meng family is Xu Zhiruo's best friend, although she is one year older than Xu Zhiruo.

"Yingyue!" Xu Zhiruo entered the house as if it belongs to her

"I'm here" a sound came from upstairs

"Yingyue, yingyue, I just can't forget that handsome brother. He's so handsome and his voice is so nice to hear! He's basically a prince charming."

Meng Yingyue, who had heard Xu Zhiruo said that everyday for hundreds of time rolled her eyes.

"Yes yes yes, he's your prince charming" Meng Yingyue chuckled as she continued reading the book she was holdiny.

After a few hours, Xu Zhiruo waved goodbye to Meng Yingyue and returned home.

Returning from the Mengs, it was raining hard and Xu Zhiruo was looking for a shelter. When she passed an alley, she overheard a 'supposed to be secret' conversation between a man and a woman, but she did not care about it since it did not involve her.

Xu Zhiruo was preparing to find another place since the conversation was dirtying her pure mind. Not until she heard them mentioning a familiar name.

Listening to their conversation, Xu Zhiruo was so shocked that she knocked into the pipe beside the alley.

"Who is it?!" the man shout and walked towards Xu Zhiruo.

Xu Zhiruo was not that stupid to keep standing there and waited to be caught. She ran into the nearby flowershop and hide behind the flowers.

She thought she had experienced the most shocking things, but she was wrong. When she peeked at the man who's coming out of the alley, she almost had her eyes popped out. She knew that man. Not only knew but she was also familiar with him.

Thinking back at the woman's voice, Xu Zhiruo realized why it's so familiar. She also knew that woman.

Without thinking any further, she ran back to the underground garage and drove her car away. Her mind was so fussy that she forgot to wear the seatbelt.

Xu Zhiruo was driving in a high speed, she needed to tell her family as fast as possible, but fate said otherwise.

A truck was driving in an opposite direction in a high speed. When Xu Zhiruo realized the situation, it was too late. She slammed her steering wheel to the left and the car knocked hard into the pole. Her head was hit hard as it bled so much.

The passing cars stopped and one of them called the ambulance.

Xu Zhiruo was rushed to the ICU and her family was called. It was not hard to identify her as they all knew her as the Xus eldest lady.

"Where's Xiao Ruo, my dear daughter?!" a middle aged woman hurried to the ICU

"Mom, relax, relax, Xiao Ruo will be fine. They're saving her." It was Xu Zhixiu that came along with his parents after receiving the shocking news from the hospital.

Xu Zhixiu's mother couldn't hear him anymore at the moment. She just cried and cried until she fainted. While her mother was sent to a room to be checked, Xu Zhiruo's father had been outside the ICU all along staring at the ICU door. He just don't know what to said at this moment.

After making sure his mother was fine and just fainted, Xu Zhixiu went back to his father.

"How's your mother?" Xu Rong, his father asked him

"Mom's fine, she just fainted"

Xu Rong nodded and then turned to the ICU's door again.

After 6 whole hour, the ICU signed finally dimmed and the doctor came out.

"Doctor, how's my daughter?"

"Doctor, how's my sister?"

The Xu parents and Xu Zhixiu shot the doctor with their questions right after he came out.

Opening his mask, he told them, "The operation is very successful. But miss Xu hit her head hard so it will take some time before she wakes up" the doctor said before slightly bowed and went away.

"She's fine. Darling, our daughter's fine" Zheng ning, their mother turned to Xu Rong.

"Yes, she was blessed by the heaven" Xu Rong hugged his wife and nodded his head.

No one knew how anxious Xu Zhixiu was. Even though he did not show it, it was still his twin lying inside , so how could he not be anxious. He even rather it was him lying inside and not his twin sister.

Perhaps just as they said, twin indeed had a telepathy. When the accident happened, he felt his heart skipped a beat.

Xu Zhixiu loved his twin sister deeply and he will fulfil her every wish. However, that morning, when she asked him to accompany her to the Meng's house, he refused because he had to rearangge his study. Moreover, he never thought she will be in danger since she was visiting the Mengs.

He blamed himself for this accident.
