Chapter 10 : Pay a Visit

The Xus

After Xu Zhiruo came back from Meng Yingyue's house, she directly went to the garden.

Other than the training areas, the place she often visit is the garden. She felt peaceful there.

'Handsome brother, why does this name made me so emotional? Who is he? Why couldn't I remember about him?'

Closing her eyes, Xu Zhiruo sat in the garden for a long time. When she opened her eyes, the sun has set already.

"Young lady, it's dinner time" a maid called out for her.

"Alright, I'll go right after I changed my clothes"

Then the maid slightly bowed and left. Xu Zhiruo did not know how much time had passed and only realized that she had skipped her lunch when she heard the maid. No wonder her stomach growled, asking for food just now.

Although each of them are busy, the Xu Family members always spare some time to have dinner together everyday.

Walking back to her room, she took a quick shower and changed into her comfy outfits.

When she arrived at the dining room, everyone was there already, that means she's the last.

"Sorry, I'm late" she apologized before took her sit.

"It's fine" Zheng ning, her mother was the first one to spot her entering the dining room.

"Ruo'er, I heard you didn't go to the training areas today?" Xu Zhixiu who had been looking at her since she sat down, voiced out.

"Yes, I went to Yingyue's house"

"Didn't you came backjust slightly over the noon?" He asked again

Nodding her head, Xu Zhiruo gazed up to him. "I've been in the garden"

"Owh, that's unusual of you to skip the training"

"Ekhmm, stop it Xiu'er, isn't it great for your little sister to rest once in a while?" Their father, Xu Rong, said.

"Indeed, Xiu'er" Zheng ning agreed with her husband.

Xu Zhixiu shrugged.

Dinner was served before they could continue.

"Here, Ruo'er, eat more. You're so skinny" Zheng ning who sat opposite to her put a piece of meat into her bowl.

"Thanks mom" she thanked her before continue eating her dinner.

"Elder brother, had sister Ruiqin been in the outer world all this time?"

After dinner, their father went back to work while their mother was managing the charity project. So there's only Xu Zhiruo and her twin brother left at home.

"Yes. The last time I heard about her was about a year ago, she's really famous back then. As for now, I don't know"

"Why do you ask about her?" Xu Zhixiu questioned her.

"Hmm.. nothing. I just thought of her"

"Oh okay then. Rest early little Ruo" Xu Zhixiu rustled her hair before went out to who knows where.

The left alone Xu Zhiruo also returned to her room.

She had been emotionally tired today, so she quickly fell asleep just as she touched the bed.

'Then, do you think I will be as great as her when I acted in a movie?' A teenage girl's voice was heard.

'You wanted to be an actress?' A young man's voice could be heard but his appearance was blurred.

"Hah.. huh.. huh.." Sitting up on her bed, Xu Zhiruo woke up full of sweat.

"That- is that my memories in country C? Then who is he? Could he be the handsome brother Yingyue told me about?

"I think I could only get the answer when I go to country C"

Xu Zhiruo thought to herself for a while before she tried to go back to sleep, but failed.

It's dawn already when she woke up. Then she remembered something so she decided to look for the camera she got for herself 4 years ago.

When she found the camera, she sat down on her bed, checking the pictures captured from it.

The first picture appeared was the one she took at the amusement park in country C three years ago.

Next, there's a picture of two people's shadow. One of them was definitely her because she could recognize her leg which was seen at the corner of the picture. The other one was a male, but who is it?

It couldn't be Xu Zhixiu, as he was the same height as her three years ago. However, this man in the picture was taller than her by a head.

'He's that handsome brother?' Was the first thing Xu Zhiruo thought of after seeing that picture.

"Looks like I really need to pay country c a visit" a smirk was form at the corner of her smile.

Next Morning

KNOCK KNOCK

"Dad, it's me" Xu Zhiruo knocked theher father's study.

"Come in"

Coming in to the study, Xu Zhiruo directly sat on the couch opposite of her father.

"Dad, I wanna go to country C" she said directly to the point.

"..."

"Dad?" tilting her head, she looked at her father.

"Sure, you may. But at least don't go alone. I'm not assured" he finally said after a long silence.

"Regarding this, I'm planning to ask Yingyue to accompany me" she nod her head.

"Great... So when are you leaving?" He knew that if Xu Zhiruo had asked for his permission, that means she has prepared for it and it won't be long before she left the island.

"This Sunday"

"Alright then, what about your mother and brother? Have you told them?" He nodded then asked her.

"Not yet. I'll tell them tonight" she shook her head lightly.

"Hmm.. Do you need me to inform the headquarters?" Nodding his head, Xu Rong thought of the possibility his daughter wanted to manage the corporation.

"No need, I'll give them a sudden visit" giving her father a look, Xu rong understand what she means.

If he were to inform the headquarters, they would make a preparation before hand. However, if she was to go there without informing then she would know the real situation over there. Perhaps, some will even lose their job. This daughter of his was a real perfectionist.

"I'll go back first, Dad. I need to talk to Yingyue about this"

"Go ahead" standing up, Xu Zhiruo gave him a nod and went out of the room.
