Chapter 3

Lydia decided to help her like any good friend would, by making both Nisya and Aayan reunite. They both thought this was a great idea and Lydia was really happy and excited to help her. Nisya was really looking forward to this reunion that all the feelings that she thought had disappeared came rushing back like a tidal wave. Things got serious later at night, Lydia started interrogating Nisya with all sorts of questions about Aayan and even asked to send a picture of him so she had a better chance helping her with the reunion. Lydia also told one of her guy friends to get more information about Aayan, and thankfully her friend Devin did know Aayan. In Fact they were actually friends. So it was decided Devin would be "the inside man" and tell Lydia everything about his discussions with Aayan, which then she would tell everything about to Nisya. The next day during lunch break Devin brought up Nisya and asked Aayan if he remembers her, and he said he does remember her. So Devin also decided to ask him if he likes her as well, but he angrily said shut up and ignored the question. A few hours later Lydia messaged Nisya to get her all caught up with the conversation between Devin and Aayan. She was thrilled to hear that Aayan does remember her and now was really excited to see him again soon. But she was confused with the fact about him getting angry when the question about him liking her was true or not. So she decided to text Myra and ask her what it means when a guy expresses that way. Myra suggested that it's a sign that the guy possibly likes the girl. She put two and two together and assumed that Nisya was most likely talking about herself at that moment. So Nisya told her the whole story as well and asked to keep it a secret and not tell anyone. Well that didn't work out too well cause the next day she was talking to Myra about Aayan during the beginning of class. She wanted to know more about the situation between Aayan and Nisya, she also told her about how her friend had planned for them to meet during the last 10 minutes of lunch that day near the gym changing rooms and . That's when Jasmine entered the conversation and also wanted to know what they were talking about. Nisya thought there was no point in keeping it a secret any longer, so she told her everything too and showed both of them a picture of Aayan. Myra and Jasmine were both surprised by Nisya's story because they never thought something like that would happen. To them it felt like something you would see happening in movies and tv shows as a beautiful love story unfolds. Nisya definitely agreed but unsure if it would truly be a love story…

Well turns out her suspicions were right cause nearing the end of lunch Nisya had planned to meet up with Lydia so she could help her find Aayan and Devin and get this reunion done. They both circled around the whole first floor of the school, but the guys were nowhere to be seen. Now Nysia was getting really nervous and actually wanted to chicken out of doing this whole thing. While Lydia was pissed with Devin for being a no show with Aayan.

"Ugh He said he'd be here! I swear to god I'm gonna punch Devin when I see him," said Lydia.

"Ooh yes thank you very much. Well it looks like they're not showing up anytime soon. There's only like 3 minutes left before lunch ends and I need to get to class otherwise my teacher will be pissed at me," said Nisya.

"Ugh alright then I guess we better get to class, also I'll talk to Devin and let you know," said Lydia.

Nisya nodded and were both off to class. During the last class of the day Lydia messaged Nisya saying that "Apparently Aayan went home for lunch that's why he wasn't able to show up. So I'm not sure if you'll actually be able to meet him in person any time soon," hearing that Nisya was disappointed and didn't know what to do now. Later in the afternoon while she was home finishing up homework Nisya decided to get an Instagram account and followed all her friends from school and the people she knew from middle school as well. She tried to look up Aayan's account and there was one person who seemed like it might be him so she followed that account too. She told Lydia that she got an Insta account and started following a guy who seemed to be Aayan. Lydia suggested that maybe it'll be better if she emailed Aayan instead to get a response from him.
