Where Did She Go?
In the evening, the two families gathered around the barbecue pit that Zhang Li Xue had booked earlier. When the Fu family came over, they were surprised to find that the Bai family had already started to grill some food.
Seeing this made the Fu family a bit embarrassed. After all, the Bai family had helped them to book the hotel and now, they were cooking the food before they arrived.
Fu Yan Zi walked over to Bai Qi and Zhang Li Xue with a guilty feeling in his heart. "Let me help you to grill the chicken wings. I don't feel at ease if I'm not helping around."
Zhang Li Xue flashed a smile. "It's alright. Fu Chen had helped a lot with carrying heavy stuff just now."
While Fu Yan Zi and Qin Ruan were settling the kids, Fu Chen came over to help around, carrying the ingredients and setting up the place.
"Besides, barbecued food is one of my specialties," Zhang Li Xue continued "Mr. Fu, why don't you give the chicken wing that I cook a try?"
