The Replacement
A few days later, Zhang Li Xue went to find Fang Su Jin after work and invited her to dinner.
Initially, Zhang Li Xue had planned to go and find her boyfriend at the hospital. However, the hospital received an emergency patient and Bai Qi had to spend hours in the operation theatre.
Fang Su Jin knew that a certain someone only came to look for her because she could not spend her time with Doctor Bai. She was only the replacement. To get back, Fang Su Jin suggested they have dinner at a vegetarian restaurant.
She had hoped to see Zhang Li Xue's unhappy face upon seeing the vegetarian dishes on the table. However, Zhang Li Xue was eating the vegetables with a dazed look on her face.
From the look at it, it seemed that Zhang Li Xue did not know what she was eating. She continued to raise her chopsticks and ate the dishes.
