In the evening, both Zhang Li Xue and Bai Qi returned to the house.
Li Qin Yao heard that her daughter had returned and immediately went over to look at her. Seeing her daughter's rosy cheek finally put her heart at ease.
Earlier that day, her husband mentioned that their daughter did not show up at work and Li Qin Yao has been worried ever since.
Even if their children had grown up, as a mother, she would always worry about them.
"Li Xue, are you feeling alright?" Li Qin Yao asked.
Zhang Li Xue glanced at Bai Qi before turning to her mother again. "Mommy, I'm fine. After resting a little bit, I'm already feeling good."
Li Qin Yao heaved a breath of relief. "That's good." She then turned to Bai Qi and shot him a grateful look. Li Qin Yao knew well that it was Bai Qi who had looked after her daughter well.
"Mommy, is Daddy at home?" Zhang Li Xue asked.
