Fruit Of Patience Is Always Sweet

Ji Ah felt the cold wind flowing all through her body. She realized that she was standing out of her house, at the doorway with tears flowing out of her eyes. She looked up at the sky, it had stopped raining but the sky was still roaring due to the loud thunder.

Feeling cold, she rubbed her hands together and started walking until her legs were tired.

Ji Ah didn't know where she was. But upon seeing the unknown place, she knew that she had come very far from her home.

Another loud thunder was heard and she jumped up in fear. Yet, there was no one to look after her. She searched here and there for someone but who could she have possibly found in this empty place?

Her legs started to feel numb and she squatted down right where she had stood. It felt like an abandoned place or something because there was no single soul other than Ji Ah.

Honestly, in Ji Ah's heart, the fear that she was divorced was more compared to the fear that something would happen to her in this abandoned place.

At this peak of time, she wished that at least someone whom she knew would be with her, to console her. And her mind was only thinking about Lee In Joon.

Maybe, if he was here... She wouldn't have been this hurt. He would have consoled her by saying sweet nothings just like how he used to do back in her childhood.

If and only if... She had expected that this day would come in her life, maybe... She would have spend some good quality time with In Joon, thinking all about her childhood days rather than giving him a cold shoulder.

She lowered her head and started to release all the tears she had stuffed deep within her. She cried loudly until no more tears could possible come out of her.

Lightning struck again and she screamed. Those thin clothes were doing nothing other than covering her body. As Ji Ah rubbed her arms and tightly embraced herself, she saw a car approaching her. The lights were so bright that she had to cover her eyes with her hand.

"W...who is there?" Ji Ah asked when she saw a man stepping out of the car.

As Ji Ah recognized the silhouette of the man approaching her, she immediately got up and ran after him. "In Joon!" Her legs were numb but the happiness of seeing In Joon didn't make her feel any pain.

She ran and tightly hugged him. "I thought no one will come to save me." The tears which were long gone again came out and she started to cry while encircling her arms around his neck.

"Thank you!" She cried loudly and intertwined her fingers so, that she couldn't break away from him. In Joon was surprised to see her like this. He didn't know that she needed him so bad. 'It was worth the wait, Ji Ah!' He said to himself and hugged her back.

Ahh! How much he wanted to hug her? How much he wanted to inhale her innocent scent? He had waited quite long for her to come to him but it was worth the wait.

The saying was indeed true; The fruit of patience is always sweet!

In Joon smiled as he inhaled her wonderful scent emanating from her body. In the morning when he was looking at her from up close with a little space in between them, he wanted to remove that little bit of space between them.

But he was afraid that if he would have removed the gap back then, instead of no gap there would have been a huge gap between them and she would have basically been hating him, by now!

So, he waited until... The right time had come.

He hadn't at all expected Min Hyuk to be this greedy and heartless. Even if he had become a big guy starting from today... Rather than giving Ji Ah a cold shoulder, he could have made her understand or explain her... After all, they had been together for one whole year!

Nevertheless, In Joon was happy that Min Hyuk made it all happen quick. He was feeling bad to see Ji Ah hurt but he had promised himself that this would be the last time that Ji Ah would be hurt.

After she was completely his, he solemnly promised that he would never hurt her again!

Suddenly, he heard the loud chattering of teeth and that's when he realized that Ji Ah was wearing nothing but thin set of clothes. He quickly took out a jacket from inside his car and covered Ji Ah's slim body with it.

Then, while holding her hand, he made her sit inside the car and fastened her seatbelt.

He sat inside the car through the other door and switched on the heater. Ji Ah sat comfortably inside. She bought the jacket more closer to her body and her chattering became even more loud.

"Just few more minutes and you will feel warm!" In Joon increased the car's heater and started the engine.

2 hours later, In Joon's Nissan Murano was parked in front of a one storey house. In Joon had given his everything... Except for this house and this car.

This house consisted the memories of the days when he had come over here with his family and this car was very much precious to him because this was his father's very first gift to him. He unfastened his seatbelt and turned to the side to see her. "We are home!" He exclaimed and regretted that he told that... Because the moment he finished speaking, Ji Ah instantly woke up and asked "Are we home?"

In Joon gave a nod and unfastened her seatbelt. He turned off his car's engine and took out the keys. Opening his door, he stepped out and walked towards her side to open her door. Ji Ah stepped out of the car. She had felt warm and cozy inside. And now the cold winds were again making her shiver.

She took a deep breath and looked up at the sky. It was almost getting dawn.

In Joon smiled after seeing her and started to walk towards his entrance when Ji Ah caught hold of his shirt from behind. He turned around to see her and she had her head pulled down.

He smiled as he heard her Thank You! Patting her head, In Joon took her inside his house.
