Delilah had just finished cleaning up, their clothes had been brought to the clinic since the day of the incident.
When Delilah was done and settled down, she asked Anna "What happened that day?"
Anna knew she would ask eventually, she shrugged and told her everything, not leaving out a detail.
" Harrison?" Delilah was stunned.
" Hm, he fainted right after he secured you on the bed" Anna nodded, she leaned close to Delilah, "Are you two… are you two together?" she whispered, her eyes thirsty with gossip.
" I don't know, I am as speechless and clueless as you right now" Delilah answered truthfully.
Anna's shoulder dropped dejectedly.
Ko, Ko, came a knock from the opened door, the girls turned their heads simultaneously to the door. It was the other students, mostly boys.
" Classmate Chen!" they all cried with relief as they scrambled into the room, carton of milk and buns in their hands.
Delilah and Anna exchanged confused glances, what is going on?
" Classmate Chen, how are you feeling now?"
" We heard what happened, we were sorry we couldn't do anything to help you"
" Classmate Chen, we wanted to come as soon as we heard you were awake, but the doctor said you weren't fully awake so we came today, hope you are feeling well now?"
" Classmate Chen, we were shocked when we heard what does girls did, don't worry, we are behind you. Those girls must pay!"
The rest nodded and began to mutter, "those girls must pay", they were smart enough not to make noise.
Delilah: "…"
Anna: "…?"
A girl with chubby cheeks suddenly ask, "Classmate Chen, we heard you were brought to the clinic by Harrison, is it true?"
Delilah looked at the girl, she'll make a great reporter one day. She felt she was like a star whose love life just got exposed.
A boy with an undercut reprimanded the girl," Shut up, if you're here for Harrison, go to his ward"
Delilah cleared her throat, and they became silent, "Uhm… May I ask what is going on here?"
Anna nodded in agreement.
" Ah, we were just worried about classmate Chen, see we even brought breakfast for you" the boy with an undercut answered, reaching out the carton of milk and buns to her, so did the rest.
Delilah was stunned, they came to check on her? Why?
She smiled, though her skin was still pale, it didn't hinder her beauty, it made her look more pitiful instead.
" Thank you for your care classmates, we really appreciate it, but we've already had breakfast" she rejected their gifts politely.
The students didn't pursue the matter, they nodded, "We hope classmate Chen get well soon" they said, punching the air and left.
" We will" Delilah waved at them.
" What just happened?" she turned to Anna and asked.
Anna giggled, "You just became a star"
