HER JEALOUS SIDE

The past week has been really sad and gloomy for everyone, especially Raymond.

Valentino body has been taken to the morgue and his parents called to come identify body and sign some papers.

The shock on Montreal face was not to be forgotten. Mrs Montreal wasn't exempted she was a crying mess, Valentino was their only child and now they lost him, her life was ruin now no denying that and to top it all Mr Dennis showed up in school.

"Dad am scared right now, strange things are happening, do you think the school is been hunted now? And I think they are after your favorite adopted daughter." Layla said hugging her dad as fake tears slipped out of her eyes.

Dennis body tensed up when he heard that, was his daughter kidding him right now, he questioned himself.

"Where the fuck is your sister Layla?" Dennis asked not hiding his agitation.

"She's not my fucking sister okay. She's just a trash you picked up nineteen years ago stop referring to her as my sister, cause she will never be. She's only a freeloader taking my place in your heart." Layla suddenly snapped at her dad.

His hand flew to her face as she staggered backward and fell to the ground as she stared at her dad with wide eyes ,

"Dad you just slapped me cause of that free----."

"Call he that one more time and I'll hit you again Layla. I hate raising my hands on you but you keep pushing me, you weren't this way princess what changed you so much?" Dennis asked cutting he words off as his look softened as he squatted to he level.

"Everything dad, everything change when you showed more attention towards Paige like I never existed, she took my place in your heart dad,she made me feel worthless. I craved for my father's love and attention in my own father's house and I bet I can never get it back because that witch stole you away from me just like she had always stolen everyone I love away from me." Layla yelled as she stood up from the ground on her own

"It was really thoughtful of you to hit me dad, the best gift you have ever given me." Layla added sarcastically a smirk visible on her face as she looked past him staring at Paige who had a pained expression, she knew her dad was oblivious of Paige standing behind him.

Dennis sighed, in a sense Layla was right he must have showed through his action, he was only trying to ease a kid distress, a kid with no memory, a kid who couldn't even say what her name is, he was only trying to fill the void, maybe he had gone too far and neglected his own daughter.

He turned and his eyes met with Paige and he could tell from her look that she heard everything. She was trying to masked which she did a good job but Dennis already saw it.

"Me Dennis it's been a while I last saw you, you didn't even come for the concert we had and I must say I'm a little upset but I forgive you already." Paige said with a radiant smile

" You can't fool me withhat smile of yours Paige I have known you since you were a kid and I know when you masking your hurt. So, tell me the truth how long have you been standing here and don't dare lie to me." Dennis said his hand gripping her shoulders as he stared into her eyes she couldn't escape from this one and she knew too well not to get him pissed.

"Long enougho know to know am a freeloader and an attention seeker." Paige said and shrugged her shoulders and looked at him with a smile. Dennis pulled he in to a hug, a hug Paige had missed a lot.

"You should let go of me now don't you think so?" Paige asked in a muffle.

"Sorry candy, but you know that's a lie right and you are no freeloader to me or Layla, she only said that cause she was upset and you know better than to take her words to heart. I love you like my daughter okay." Dennis said and he could swear he saw a different emotion flickered in her eyed.

Tears brimmed in Paige's eyes but she fought them hard, she wasn't going to break her promise never to shed a year again.

"I will be leaving soon, I just want you to and ---" she paused and glance over at Layla before continuing her speech.

"----- I want you both to stay safe, I won't stand it if you both get hurt." Paige said as a smile crease Dennis face. She just called him Dad for the first time in thirteen years but he frowned immediately he remembered what she just said.

"But where are you going paige?" Dennis asked

"I found my family already I remember my past already and I have to go with them." Paige explained

"Just quit the acting paige, seeing how easily you got my dad's attention from me just now only make me remember how much my hatred for you keep growing and for having Charlie heart already makes me want to end you. I so hate all of you." Layla yelled as she ran out. Paige let out a sigh.

"I will go after her so she doesn't do something stupid." Charlie muttered as he headed out in the same direction Layla had taken earlier when she ran out.

"Dennis you should stop coming over for a few months till I my sister and friends think of a way to stop whatever is going on. Coming here would be too risky." The smile on Dennis face disappeared when she called him Dennis again.

"Fine I will but stay out of trouble and most importantly stay save and alive okay?" He asked and she nodded

"I will leave now an do call me regularly so I can have peace of mind knowing you are both safe. After you solve whatever you want to solve I would like to meet your family on a family dinner not in this kind of situation." He said and Paige nodded in response.

Eddie smiled from where he watched as he saw Layla running out.

"This is my perfect opportunity to get her now." He thought and vanished out of there.

Layla sat on the school I as she cried slowly,

"Why must everything always have to be about Paige huh? What does she have that I don't have? Why can't they give me the love I deserve rather than that trash dad picked up? First she took my dad's love, then Brian, Tim, Sammy and now she is hell bent on getting Charlie. I hate her, I hate her,I really hate her, I just want to kill her myself, she doesn't deserve to live." Layla yelled to no one in particular

"I can help you if you let me we are on the same page you know." A voice said beside her as he played with the flowers in the school garden.

"What do you nean, and who the hell do you think you are to interrupt my peace and quiet? Do you know who I am? Are you even a student cause I you are trust me I'm kicking you out of it." Layla threatened causing him to chuckle lowly.

"Human are quite amusing you know, I can never belong here you know but you see the reason I'm here is because the girl you seem to despise have something that's important to my master. So you see since you want to get rid of her why don't we strike a deal you will lure her to me and you can have Charlie." He proposed and she stared at him for long without saying a word.

Charlie knelt in front of Layla, traces of tears still visible on her face, he raised his hands as he wiped her face from every traces of tears

"You know cute girls don't cry and you shouldn't least you look ugly." Charlie started still staring at her as he wiped her tears away but they seem to stream more Layla never responded just staring at him as she cried more.

"You shouldn't stay mad at Kira okay, it's not her fault we just can't help our heart and destiny." Layla squinted her eyes as the name sounded unfamiliar to her

"Who's is kira? I don't think I have heard that name here or I there is I don't know the person." Layla said and Charlie smilled

"Paige she is Kira, you see I'm not who you actually who you think I am, same goes to Charles and Elsa we are supernatural. It might freak you out but I don't belong here same goes to Paige now she got back her memories I think our days here would be numbered. I we doyleave soon those attacking the school won't stop cause they know she's here the only way to stop this is for us to end it once and for all. Paige might not actually come back if we do win the impending war, you don't have to feel threatened about her getting what you want anymore." Charlie explained and Layla eyes went wide

"But Charlie I love you, I have loved you from the very first time I set my eyes on you and I don't think I can ever let you go." Layla said and Charlie let out a sigh.

"I can't be with you Layla, I don't love you why can't you understand that I love Shakira. We've already been matchmaked from heave. Lord Adonis gave her to me as my soulmate. Look Layla I know you a part of you still love Paige as your sister when you were both kids, don't let your hatred blind you Layla, Paige really loves you though she mask it up with that look on her face when you both cross paths. Just do it for me please Layla." Charlie said but Layla sat without saying a word he nudged her.

"Fine I will try to be nice if you let me kiss you just once please." Layla said and before Charlie could react her lips were already on his, he didn't push her away neither did he kiss her back. If this was going to make her change her mind and be friendly with Paige then she could do whatever she want.

Paige stood from a distance watching. Here she was thinking he had gone lost but he was smooching with her adopted sister how nice of him she hated the fact that she got affected.

She folded her hands into a fist as she glared at Charlie. With one last look at Layla she teleported back to her room.

Layla was still kissing Charlie who just sat and let her do her thing when Kira scent wasp through his him, he needed no soothsayer to know she was here. He pushed Layla away from him slowly, he flashed her a smile before vanishing from her sight too. Layla recoiled back, now that wasn funny. She smiled when she remembered the kiss.

"I don't think I can let Charlie go, so I will do what you want. But have been meango her do you think she will accept me?" Layla asked Eddie who just let out a creepy smile

"Leave that to me Layla all you have to do is give me assess to your body that's all and I will get it done. I can't risk any of them sniffing me out." Eddie said which got Layla thinking hard.

Charlie got into her room and found Paige lying lerfeion her side facing the walls.

"Kira is not what you think okay just let me explain please." Charlie said but got only silence he took careful steps towards her till he got to the bed, he raised his hand to touch her but an invisible force threw him off as he collided with the other part of the wall.

"Fuck Kira must you do this every time." Charlie said with a groan.

"You have to listen to me, it's not what you think I swear it, she was the one who kissed me I didn't kiss her. You have to believe me on this Kira." Charlie said explained but making sure to stay away from her. That got her standing up with a deadly look on her face.

"Really Lie, you stayed there and let her kiss you, do you think I didn't see the way she was eating your lips as some kind of candy. The most annoying was you stayed there not doing anything to push her off, which clearly showed you enjoy it." Paige snapped at him. She hated the fact that she was angry, she hated the fact that he was her weakness, she hated the fact that she can't seem to hate him anymore, she hated the fact that he affected her in ways that she didn't like.

Charlie still stood away from her, he can't risk breaking a rib or a bone, not when her anger has not been pacified. He knew that if she didn't calm down soon he will have to make her even if he knew he could get crippled at the attempt.

"See Kira I know I am wrong, but believe me I only let her so she would be fine and no----."

"Get out of my room Charlie MacDonald and I mean it else you won't get out with complete bones or they might have to pick up your corpse." Paige said her tone dropping as ice. Her brave of him accepting to letting her kiss her property and still had the guts to say it to my face. Did I just claim him she asked herself

"I won't leave Paige it's better you kill me and end my misery already. But do I smell jealousy from you Kira are you jealous?" Charlie asked but was greeted with a glare

"Anyway it won't be bad if my jealous mate kills me right now, would it?" Charlie asked as he made up his mind to have to tamed this little missy over here.....
