Soon, a series of lines appeared in the middle page of the Grimoire of Life and Death explaining the items that Aeon had gained by offering the Goblin Soldier's corpses.

At the same time, the Grimoire of Life and Death opened the Blessing Page as it coughed the items it just mentioned in the Communication Page.

A small dagger, three small green-coloured crystals and a light green paper…these are the items from the corpse-offering to the Grimoire of Life and Death.

'A Grey Ranked Weapon.'

First, Aeon observed the small dagger as he muttered, 'Even though it is a bottom of the ranked weapons, it is still better than nothing.'

In this world, not just the cultivation, monsters and beasts were ranked, even the weapons were ranked starting from Grey.

'I wonder what kind of effects this dagger has.'

All ranked weapons have some effects that assist the user in fighting and thus, Aeon wondered about it and thought, 'Should I use the [Assessment Page] to get the information.'

However, since he had already used it to check the information on the Goblin Soldiers earlier, Aeon decided to use it tomorrow.

Suddenly, the Grimoire of Life and Death opened and it informed Aeon about something new.

'Really?'

Aeon unconsciously revealed a slight smile with excitement.

It was because Aeon really needed to keep the three uses of the Assessment Page intact for tomorrow's attack on the Goblin Captain and his Goblin Soldiers.

However, now, Aeon learned that he could get the information about the dagger for free. So, of course, he was happy about it as he was also curious about the Goblin Agility Talisman.

'I heard the Grey Weapons that give a 10 percent of boost for the users are considered as high-grade Grey Weapons. So, I got a high-level Grey Weapon just by offering a Goblin Soldier's corpse?'

Aeon was not surprised that the dagger increased his attack speed; however, what surprised him was the percent of speed boost he was getting.

What's more, it was a passive effect where the effect is applied to him all the time without Aeon doing anything.

Hence, Aeon becomes more happy after learning about the effect of the dagger.

'With the same flow, I will check out the talisman.'

Next, his eyes landed on the piece of light green-coloured paper as he waited for the talisman's information.

[Note: It is a one-time consumable item which disappears after usage]

'Even though it is only a one-time use item, for a Grey Grade, it is not a bad thing.'

From the name of the talisman, Aeon could already tell its effect. As for being a consumable item, almost all the talismans in the world tend to be consumable items.

Hence, Aeon was not surprised by the information.

'Even though I can deduce the effects of these items from their names and the general knowledge I have gained from my father and brother, it is very much helpful to have an [Assessment Page] to get detailed information about these things.'

The more Aeon used the Grimoire of Life and Death, the more he was liking it.

'For now, there is no need to use the Talisman as I already have the dagger with the same effect.'

With that thought in mind, Aeon kept the talisman in the bag he took from the Goblin Soldiers earlier and kept the dagger around his waist.

After that, Aeon's eyes landed on the three small but shiny green crystals in his hand.

For these crystals, Aeon doesn't need an assessment because he knows about them and their uses.

These crystals were similar to the Life Crystals; however, they could be only used by Goblins for their cultivation or recovery.

'If I was inside the Celestial World Tree, I could have traded these Goblin Essence Crystals with something.'

So, most of the human cultivators inside the Celestial World Tree would exchange these crystals for other cultivation resources.

Right now, Aeon could not do it unless he chose to trade them with the Goblin Captain personally; however, would the Goblin Captain trade with him? The answer is obviously 'No'.

'Anyway, since I am planning to kill the Goblin Captain anyway, there is no need for any trade.'

With that thought in mind, Aeon silently asked the Grimoire of Life and Death whether it could consume them and give him something in return.

The initial sentence made Aeon a little happy; however, when he read the full sentence, he bitterly shook his head.

Soon, Aeon tossed the three Goblin Essence Crystals in the bag and ate the fruits before going back to his routine.

His routine was simple. Cultivate while observing his surroundings and the cave behind the waterfall.

Time continued to pass and in a flash, another sleepless night passed by for Aeon in the huge bush and the time to use his skill came again.

'Before that, let's check my Life Space.'

With a thought, the Grimoire of Life and Death opened the first page [Master Page].

'I just need another 60 units of Life Energy to make another breakthrough.'

Aeon clenched his fists when he thought about his next breakthrough to become a Level 4 Life Blood Soldier.

Even though Aeon could directly make a breakthrough to the next level with the two special Life Crystals from yesterday, he didn't have any plans to use them yet.

Instead, he created another three Special Life Crystals for the day and stored them with the previous two.

'Since I will execute my plan tonight, I can easily cultivate the remaining 60 units of Life Energy required for the breakthrough.'

This was the reason why Aeon didn't plan to use the Life Crystals and silently circulated Thunder Serenity Flow to absorb the Life Energy.
