I found my way into the Subway system of Tokyo and was greeted by a pink window

I didn't think much of the notification until I turned to my right and saw a whole swarm of monsters, despite the circumstances I still felt calm. I decided to approach it as I would training until I am on my back foot as a way to improve the rest of my skills.

My approach to this dungeon was to focus on my magic, put into practice the things I thought about during my meditation and to get a better grasp on the manipulation of mana since I had already had my fun with my martial arts during the first test, albeit not entirely on purpose.

The monsters noticed me and started darting toward me at a blistering pace, but I kept my composure and started making the first magical skill that I thought about during my meditation. I close my eyes to increase my concentration. I outstretch my hand, my palm facing the monsters and started to bring my expansive arcane power to my palm, and in seconds I had a huge mass of arcane power hovering on my palm growing more unsteady as time passes. I take a sharp breath in and push the arcane power off of my hand.

The notifications that rang in my head were proof that my plan had worked I opened my eyes to see a blue screen that I was not expecting.

I also see a bunch of essences and monsters around. I start picking up the essences from the ground and putting them into my inventory and start killing the monsters with Magic Missile.

It felt like time just flew by as I continued the same things until I finally check the time left and realized I should pull a Kim Wu-Won and sell my essences for those sweet, sweet points.

Despite all of the enemies that I have killed I seem to have reached a wall when it comes to my level since I have not gotten the notification for a while, hopefully, it's not the same thing for my proficiencies since a lot of work would have been for nothing I decided to calm my nerves by checking my status

Luckily my prayers were answered, I had grown A lot in these restless three days, and I decided to finally put an end to the boss' life through True Dragon Body I utilized my increased perception and senses to find where a huge snake it seemed to be around 100m in length if it uncoiled and it looked at me and roared.

*ROAR*

Not paying the boss any more attention I decide to make haste and go find a large group of people to sell my essence.

It looks like some kind of gang war is happening because there are two groups of people standing in front of each other seemingly staring at each other as if appraising each other. One was smaller compared to the other though. The smaller one was led by a purple-haired guy, he had a displeasing face. The larger one seemed to be led by two individuals: a young woman with long black hair, blood-red eyes, and purple lipstick and a young woman with large light brown eyes and light orange-brown hair that she wore in two buns with neck-length hair strands hanging on either side.

(POV Change)

I looked at the other group that was in front of me, I noticed that we could just take them on and take their stuff since the essence and Points are the only important materials and they are carrying them in their pouches that void after death. so I decided to ask for a trade.

"You have any surplus essence?" I ask after I was done with my appraisal

"Only if you're willing to pay. 500 Points per essence" The man facing me said while putting up 5 fingers.

'Talk about a bad deal' I think while inwardly rolling my eyes, but a yell from my right takes me out of my thoughts.

"YO! If you want essences, IM YOUR GUY!" I hear a handsome and muscular young man with gray eyes, black hair, and sharp facial features yell. He continues to approach, he does so silently as he has completely taken charge of the atmosphere. When he gets close enough to where he can talk normally he continues what he was saying.

"I sell mine for 150 Points a piece, and I guarantee I won't run outta stock anytime soon" the mysterious black-haired merchant says.

I think that this is a much better deal than the guy in front of me but this guy also isn't that trustworthy out of my group I have the least to lose by paying the Points. I am also the strongest so I can protect myself if things get out of hand. So I decided to bite the bullet and make him prove himself. I look at my Points and essence count before talking to him.

"I would like 5 essences please" I ask some time after his initial offer.

He immediately put his hand out for me to shake and I decided to hope that this turns out good for me.

"Here are your essences Miss" The merchant says while handing me five shiny purple marbles.
