Carl, who had been avidly watching the events that took place from the safety of Salvatore's palm was laughing gleefully as he witness Orso's grow red with fury before he fell out of sight. Turning towards Salvatore with a cute mirthful grin he excitedly asked.

"How did you do that big bro, how did you capture the Captains voice saying something so funny?"

Continuing to walk at a steady pace, he offhandedly replied, "It was rather easy, I simply hid a piece of sound stone in my hand when Orso spoke, the poor fellow probably never imagined capturing his voice was my goal all along."

"Wow big bro, you completely fooled him, you fooled everyone, we'll almost everyone, I..I knew what you were planning all along."

Shaking his head from side to side Salvatore simply replied, "Really,..OK."

Then reaching into his [Spatial Storage] he retrieved the black sound stone contained Orso's voice and nonchalantly handed it to Carl.

"Here you go Carl, keep it as a memento of the day's events."

"Really big bro, I can have it?"

"If you don't want it, you don't ha...."

"I want it I want it, thank you big bro thank you!"

Quickly snatching the stone out of Salvatore's outstretched hand, Carl grasped his tightly to his chest like his most prized possession, his eyes darting furtively from side to side. After checking his surrounding with a quick glance he held up the black stone and gently shook it.

Immediately the air was filled with the familiar voice of Orso speaking the most embarrassing words of his entire life. Hearing Orso's voice, Carl began to shake, overcome by the largest fit of humor he had ever experienced in his entire life.

Meanwhile Orso, who had been running at full speed since the moment he had escaped his men, was finally drawing near to Salvatore and Carl, and could see their figures growing larger with each passing second.

About 5 minutes later, a haggard Orso who was running on empty after running a full speed for so long came rapidly charging down the cobblestone road followed by a large cloud of dust and earthen debris. Seeing his target Salvatore, he immediately pounced towards him in a single bound and grabbed his arms as he angrily shouted.

"YOU DECEIVING FURLESS BASTARD! WERE IS IT, WERE DID YOU PUT?"

"GIVE IT TO ME, GIVE ME THAT ACCURSED SOUND STONE!"

Brushing Orso's paws off with his free hand, he casually smacked him away then dusted himself off were Orso had grabbed him before calmly replying.

"I'm afraid your too late, I already gave it to Carl."

Hearing his queue, Carl cockily thrusted out his chest then raised his paws which tightly clutched the black stone. Seeing the object of his nightmare in the hands of his annoying prince, Orso was fill with trepidation as he lunged forward desperate to retrieve the hated stone.

Seeing Orso suddenly lunge towards him, Carl fearfully shook the stone causing Orso's voice to ring out. Hearing his voice speak aloud, the lunging Orso suddenly faltered as he became distracted by the embarrassing sound and misplaced his foot causing him to trip.

Moving out of the way with a smooth sidestep, Salvatore's hand quickly shot out stealthily striking the back of Orso's head causing him to abruptly collapse into a unconscious heap of muscle and fur.

Ignoring the collapsed pile that was Orso, Salvatore decided to speed up to avoid anymore interruption. With a single light step he began to jog causing him to shoot off into the distance at a frightful pace, covering hundreds of feet per second. After a short 2 minute jog, they finally arrived before the massive gates of Carrot Keep.
