Evolution

James walked up to the circular table followed by Izzy, Liam, William, Ben, Edward, and Jack looking like a slow-motion movie scene. Ahead of them, at the table, was seated a leader from each nation. The water nation leader was a stubby man with no hair to be seen on his whole head and he wore a navy blue suit with a black tie covered with medals. To his left was the earth nation leader who was a woman with brown hair cut short, wearing a full set of armour and her helmet was held on her lap. Next along was the fire nation leader who was a red tentacle alien who had two white circles for eyes. The electricity nation leader was the dog Laika but most of his limbs were robotic and a small box allowed for communication. Finally, the light nation leader was was an elf like creature with a green jacket and green shoes...basically a leprechaun but about the same height as a ten year old.

James stopped at the empty side of the table and motioned for Jack to fill the place of the darkness leader. Jack was wearing Edward's old 'keep calm and spam full restores shirt and some blue shorts they had bought on the way here. Every leader looked at Jack in confusion.

"Who is this? Where is Alice?" asked Laika in a dull, robotic voice.

"She's dead," said James, "she was being controlled by the elemental weapon of darkness but it was destroyed. Every member apart from Jack here has turned to dust as far as we know." They were all taken aback and looked down in sadness. The fire nation leader looked up.

"So is that why this meeting was called?" they said. Due to the fact they didn't have a mouth this was said through telepathy in a deep, echoey voice.

"No, it wasn't only the scythe that was destroyed." said Izzy feeling her wound. Aiden had done a pretty good job of using the ship's medical bay to patch her up but a large scar still remained.

"What do you-" started the earth leader but she was cut off by the water leader who shouted:

"Get on with it! We don't have all cycle!" The earth leader whipped round and shot a deadly glare. The water leader stood up on their chair to tower over them, clearly wanting to start a fight. The fire leader stretched out two tentacles between the two to part them but the water leader looked at they in disgust and jumped onto the table. They charged and the fire leader but slipped and slid into Laika who bit their leg and flung them into the light leader. After several more exchanges, they were all in a full on brawl with water splashing, fire burning the table that was now in two pieces with a stab of rock in the middle, the light leader kicking shins, Laika biting hands and Jack trying to sneak off back to the ship.

James stabbed into the ground with his sword sending a shock wave out extinguishing the burning table and making everyone freeze like manikins.

"I have not flown thousands and thousands of solar systems to have to babysit you five! I came here to put an end to this war and I am not leaving until you all act like reasonable people! Now will you all sit down and listen for once in your lives." boomed James. They all quickly obeyed and all sat down in half broken chairs. Even Jack, who's chair was crushed, sat on the rock that crushed it.

"Right, I broke the omni-crystal-" began James.

"What!?" exclaimed the leaders but they instantly silenced themselves in fear.

"Currently, there are hundreds of thousands of shards flying through space creating a network. This means that there will soon be no place that cannot be occupied and have abilities used and brings and end to the war hopefully. No need to fight for space and falling outs can be sorted with distance. Alright?" explained Ben, treating the leaders like children. And with that the war ended and quickly as it started. I'm as disappointed as you reading this must be but that's the timeline I've chosen to tell you mortals.

Our heroes soon went there separate ways. Liam and Izzy went off to start a farm on Darius-68, Edward wanted to go on a journey across the planets to help those affected by the war, and Ben went on to study law and became a lawyer saving many from incorrect prosecutions. That left William and Jack who went back to earth with James unaware of the entity following them. When they arrived on earth, there was a private celebration for James consisting of only a few personnel including the general, Felicity and a few other people James had never met before. At one point, the general pulled James to the side.

"I just wanted to say that we've keeping an eye on your mother. She's been doing well. She's met someone called Derick who we've checked out and is clean." said the general.

"Thank you sir," said James, "please keep my mother safe while I'm gone."

"Gone!? What do you mean? You only just got back!"

"I need to take some time to get some things out of my system." The general took James' hand firmly and shook it.

"We thank you James."

And so James' left with William and Jack in tow showing them around the area. They made one stop on James' old apartment roof. They sat down and watched the horizon turn a beautiful crimson colour before the sun set after another day.

The End.

Well, not quite. Two weeks after we just left off, James, William, and Jack were walking through a city and were definitely NOT lost.

"James, we're lost. Just give me the map or ask a local." said Jack. He had changed quite a bit in appearance and now wore a similar trench coat to what he wore when he first met James but he had a white shirt underneath and blue jeans. James had had his blue hoodie, orange shirt, and blue jeans restored and William now wore grey joggers, blue woolly jumper, and a flat cap he got from a farmer when in the country side. The trio came to and alley way in which and man with tattoos of lightning on his face, a black hoodie, and black trousers was leaning against a wall. Jack walked up to him to ask for directions and James and William followed to keep him safe. Two other men followed behind them and soon they were blocked in.

"Who this walkin' in on our turf. Guess we gonna see what these freaky new bracelets can do on living people." said the hooded one. He pulled up his sleeve and revealed he was wearing a similar bracelet to the one James wore when just starting to use his abilities but this one was newer and less beat up. The two behind them also had a bracelet but one had it on their leg and the other wore it as a necklace.

The hooded man thrust his hands at James who drew his sword from think air and deflected the bolt into the wall. The two behind both used water attacks and William drew his trident and took control of the water and used it to pin the two attackers to the wall. The hooded man reeled back in shock.

"You guys are like us too!?" he said.

"Yeah, and your gonna explain exactly how you got those bracelets!" said Jack, grabbing them by the throat. The man squirmed but gave in quickly.

"It was this woman. She gave 'em to us talkin' 'bout spreading some kind of gene or somethin'!" he said. James cut the bracelet off his arm, Jack let go and the man ran away. James did the same to the other two and William let them go as well.

"Damn, I forgot to ask for directions!" said Jack.

"That's the least of our worries. People on Earth are being given asurian abilities. This could be a danger to everyone." said William. The group quickly left the alleyway and continued their journey down the streets. But across the road seated in a cafe was a woman with dirty blonde hair and fiery red eyes watching them and following them with determination.
