I want to use this page to share some of my thoughts with Lexine and Night's EXTRA-ORDINARY-you-and-me-against-the-world-love-story.

We all know this is a "Fantasy-Romance" novel. The identities and situations are all supernatural and fiction. Everything in this novel was UNREALISTIC.

But instead, Lexine and Night's intense roller coaster love-story was a REPRESENTATION of Love, Sacrifices, Chances, Death, Forgiveness, Purpose, and Faith.

I created Lexine as the ANGEL or the "GOOD" and a strong independent woman who knows what she wants in life, a charming girl with a GOAL and a HEART who profoundly loves and cares for her family and friends. But with flaws and imperfection. A character that we can CONNECT. She makes mistakes, and sometimes she's careless, stupid, or irrational. Who isn't?

But her journey towards uncovering herself and PURPOSE in this world, at the same time fighting for what she believes is right and good, leads us to finding out more about ourselves and what it's like to care for other people. After all in the bible, it says:

"All things work together for good to those who love GOD, who have been called according to his PURPOSE." (Romans 8:28)

Night, on the other hand, is the best representation of the word "EVIL" in biblical perspectives; we have our little demons hiding within ourselves and whispering in our consciousness... pulling us away from our devotion with the Lord.

I created him as a selfish, rude, abusive bastard who didn't care about other people aside from himself. But upon finding true love makes him SELFLESS with all the sacrifices he was able to bestow, solely to protect the person he valued the most. Literally, I made him be like... "Lexine is my life, my purpose, my reason, my hope. MY EVERYTHING."

My spiritual mentor once told me, that when you do something not for yourself but for the benefit of others. That is a GODLY LOVE. We humans, are naturally selfish, who isn't? We do something only for ourselves or at least, mainly for our own benefit. But when you do something for other people, you were able to deliver the WORD of God.

Unlike Lexine who didn't revolve her entire world around Night, but to the people around her. She was selfless in a way of protecting her family and friends.

On the other hand... Night is ALONE in his dark world. He doesn't have a mother; he despises his father; he lost his relationship with his auntie. But he was able to find a new LIGHT and HAPPINESS with Lexine and their friends. Another variation that no matter who we are, how good or bad you are. True love will set you free from the pain of the past and the despair in your heart.

Practically, this is NOT just a romance story that revolves around the relationship of the two protagonist, but this novel possesses deeper meaning and lessons that I wished I was able to deliver.

The EROTIC love scene was... well you know, part of their way to express their love for each other. Huwag niyo na hanapin sa bible, walang ganon! Wag tayo mag-plastikan! Lahat tayo may libido sa katawan. HA! HA! HA!

Inside Lexine and Night's world, we were able to see what is GOOD and what is EVIL. Their LOVE and HATE affair is something that everyone can relate, all the obstacles they need to overcome symbolizes the REALITY that every RELATIONSHIP was TESTED by trials. Same with the FORGIVENESS, that when your partner did something unforgivable, love will still prevail in your heart. Like what the bible says when you get married:

"For richer or poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."

Above all, our devotion to GOD encourages us to comprehend what is the TRUE SIGNIFICANCE of the word LOVE. And with God as a CENTER of our relationship, we can make it through and find genuine happiness in life.

Ang deep besh, dumugo ang ilong ko. HAHAHAHA!

Sana kahit papaano, na-touched ng kwentong ito ang mga puso, buto, cells, ugat at kaluluwa niyo. Charot! Ang drama ni author kasi gusto ko lang sabihin na nasa kalahati na tayo ng Book 3! Haha! Grabe, nagiging sentimental ako kasi natapos ko ng i-PLOT ang Embrace of Death until the end. (So maraming kaabang-abang na magaganap! OMG! Excited na rin ako!) Pero hindi ko pa tapos isulat lahat ng chapters. Kaya wag niyo po akong madaliin sa updates. Hahaha!

While writing this naisip ko lang na ang hirap bitawan ng MBIAGR! Kung pwede lang na forever ko siyang isulat parang PROBINSYANO na walang ending. Kaso lahat ng novels/story ay kailangan may ending. Hahahaha!

Kaya sana until the end huwag kayong bibitaw at magsasawa!
