Spring wasn't willing to believe it. She still hated Streak for killing her parents. And even though Autumn had the eyes of truth in her. She didn't want to believe her own sister would kill her own loved one's.
Spring tried to get up. "No, I don't believe it."
Jacob finally entered the conversation. "Can someone please tell me what's going on." He demanded.
No one knew how to explain to him what was going on. It was silent now. No one knew what to say, but finally after five minutes, Jacob broke the silent.
"So no one is going to answer me? And to add on to that. Why is no one attacking this chick who just almost killed me?" He asked.
"Prove your 'our 'sister and that it's not another way of you just wanting to spy on us again. Because I can speak for all of us and say we do not trust you." Spring said ignoring Jacob's questions.
Streak pulled a purple necklace that looked exactly like Autumn and Springs. Yet, Autumn's necklace was white, and Springs was green. "I put this on years ago. I held onto it because a necklace like this is not something you just throw away. I never really told Kingdom King. So he gave me a little bit of his powers to use as well. I'm guessing he had this whole spy thing planned beforehand."
"Th-that looks exactly like our necklaces." Autumn said, pulling her own white similar necklace out.
Spring did the same, yet her necklace was an emerald green color. "You're actually telling the truth." She said, shocked.
Jacob just watched and listened as the three of them exchanged looks while also looking back at the three similar necklaces.
"Wait, and if this is true. My own sister killed my parents. My own parents. How could you!" Spring yell walking past Autumn and pushing Streak roughly.
"Spring wake up! We're your family! Not them! They were not helping you! This is your life!" Streak yelled back pushing Spring to the ground.
"I didn't want this!" Spring cried.
"It doesn't matter if you wanted this or not! I'm sure Autumn didn't want this either! But she expected her path and came here for you! So be grateful you got to live a normal life for a few years! Because guess what, I didn't get that! Your dad murdered my dad! And knowing that my mother is dead too! That's worse! So cut me some slack, okay!" Streak yelled while crying.
After hearing those words, Autumn knew it was the truth, because she was right. None of us wanted this life. But we're here now and going back never was an option.
Autumn walked over to wipe Streak's tears. But as she tried to reach her face, Streak turned her head.
"Autumn I don't need your help." She said, still sobbing.
"Streak, we're the only family you have left. And to be honest, you're the only family we have left too. We may still have our father left. But Kingdom King isn't a father to me. I see him as a killer. You may not have your father. But I met him, and he gave me this necklace. So trust me when I say, your father was an amazing person." Autumn said gripping her necklace.
"Wait, you're all sisters?" Jacob asked.
"Yes, we are. She's our half sister." Autumn said looking at Jacob.
Spring got up from the ground. "I guess we've all been through pain. But I can't forgive you for killing the parents that helped me grow up. I just...I just can't." Spring said, walking into the motel without saying another word.
Streak and Autumn put their necklaces in their pockets and they all followed Spring into the motel. Everyone had witnessed too much today from Streak.
Everyone was surprisingly relaxed. But Spring couldn't sit still knowing the killer of her parents was in the same room as her. She had to know, why did she do it in the first place.
Spring went up to Streak quietly "Hey, can we talk?"
Streak was surprised. She wasn't expecting Spring out of all people to want to talk to her.
"Sure, what about?" She asked.
"Just come with me." Spring said, then turned around and entered an empty room.
Spring turned around to find Streak closing the door.
"So what did you want to talk about?" Streak asked, sitting down to get comfortable.
"I just have one question, out of many that I need answered." Spring said, crossing her arms.
"Which is?" Streak asked, wanting the question.
"Why did you do it?" Spring asked.
"Obviously I've done a lot. You're going to have to be more specific." She thought of trying to figure out what Spring was trying to ask.
"Obviously I'm talking about my parents. You killed my parents. Made the car crash. I don't even know how you were able to do that." Spring said thinking of how someone, just one person, could make such a huge negative affect.
"Well, it all started when Autumn told me she had finally found you, and Kingdom King beforehand had assigned me to look for you first. But I told him Autumn could be a good help in finding you. So when Autumn said she found you, I did some research on who you were on Earth, using Kingdom Kings help of course, and I saw that you went by Scarlet on this planet. I also found information on your parents, well...fake parents, and saw that they are always busy most of the time and that one day they were going to be out." She said, starting the story off.
"Oh so you thought you could kill my fake parents and easily have me on your team of being a so called hero." Spring said, rolling her eyes.
"No. I agreed to it because they were just a waste of time for you. They weren't real. There were bags of flesh and blood. And call me jealous, but I didn't want you with them." She said truthly and honestly.
Spring dropped her arms and balled her hands into fists "You don't decide anything for me! They were not just 'bags of flesh and blood' to me! They were family! My only family because my real one is so messed up!"
Streak stood up "Well I'm sorry that I never had a family! I'm sooo sorry your mother had to cheat on your father to make me! I keep telling you this, I never had a family!! So maybe.....just maybe. Seeing your family made me want my own." Streak said no longer making eye contact with Spring and finally creating tears.
"Yes, I know, and I'm sorry. But you don't need to cause others pain. Not like that." Spring says lifting up Streaks head so that eye contact was once again made.
"Yes, I know that now. I'm not going to say sorry for the car crash, because I secretly wanted to do that even before Kingdom King had said so. But I am sorry for causing you pain if that means anything." Streak swiped her tears.
Spring was a surprise. She had not known that Streak was going to apologise for at least something, and for something so big.
"Well I sorry myself." Spring said, putting her hand on Streak's shoulder.
"Wait, but you have nothing to be sorry for. You did nothing wrong." Streak said in shock of her also saying sorry.
"Yes I did. I didn't realize until now how you and I are both alike. You and I both felt pain. But the only difference is that you have felt that pain your whole life, and I feel bad for not knowing how hard it hurt you till now." She said, finally happy knowing she had made peace with Streak.
Streak smiled "Thank you Spring. And now that I've obviously blown my cover, you can call me Star. That's my Ciler name, Star Gem."
***
Spring and Star went back into the room to find Autumn in a recliner chair and Jacob laying on the couch.
Spring thought for a moment, and she knew the plan to get from here to the next elemental.
"So we have a lot of questions on our plates here." Spring said.
"We do?" Jacob asked, sitting up from the couch and moving over.
Spring went over next to Jacob and sat next to him. "Yes. We most definitely do. Kingdom King isn't going to stop killing and using people for his own enjoyment. We have to do something."
"Your right." Autumn agreed.
"Okay but is she going to join us? I still don't fully trust her myself to be honest. Especially after she, well, tried to kill me." Jacob asks, clairing at Star.
"Star is coming with us. She's our half sister. She has our blood. She belongs with us, because we are her family. And I hope that overtime you all will forgive her and learn to love her, just like I do." Spring said standing up to hold Star's hand.
Star smiled at Spring, happy to hear the word love coming out of her mouth.
Jacob and Autumn couldn't help but sign.
"Okay, we'll give you one more chance." Autumn said, agreeing.
"Wait, your name is Star???" Jacob asked in confusion.
"Yes. My father was the Guardiun of Gems. So I'm Star Gem." She said nodding.
"Oh." Jacob said getting up.
"If you guys are done with the chit chat I'd like to know what our next plan is." Autumn asked seriously.
"Right. The plan is, Star knows a lot about us. About our other sisters. All we have to do is choose which one to go to, and how to get there." Spring said looking at Star.
"He did tell me a lot about all four of you. There's a Wave in Hawaii. We'd have to go to her by water.
Steal a boat without the Caretakers trying to take us away to the care center or anyone trying to spot and/or steal from us. This city has become corrupt, and Kingdom King isn't going to, at least, let me leave that easily." Star said, letting go of Spring's hand and crossing her arms.
"Okay, Glad we spotted the problems. But we still don't have a plan." Jacob said in a serious tone.
"Thanks captain, obviously. We were about to get to that." Star said, looking at Jacob with the judgy eyes.
"Okay okay, geez, I'm just trying to understand our way to get to this island without getting spotted. Not to mention, a caretaker already knows where our hideout is." Jacob said, still serious.
" He's right." Autumn said, jumping into the conversation.
"Then we have to be on the move, they could surround us at any moment." Spring said in a serious tone.
Finally they all came to an agreement. They headed out in the direction of water, and they finally found a shop selling boats.
An old man, the looked quite similar to the one Autumn once knew. Autumn started to tear up. Trying to hold in most of her emotions, remembering what had happened last time.
"Autumn, what's wrong?" Star asked.
"The.....that man. Looks exactly like the man who gave me my necklace. Your father." She slow said.
"It's okay, i miss him too, even though I never met the guy." Star said, not knowing the information Autumn knew.
"Star, he was a good man. He helped me. He should've been killed." Autumn said, crying more.
It started to become even more windier the more she cried. She couldn't control it any longer. The wind was making her very noticable. Jacob and Spring started to notice her too.
"No no no, Autumn not right now. Please, you're too unstable to draw us attention." Jacob said to her.
"Jacob, she needs to learn how txo control it. So shut up cause you dont understand." Streak yelled softly.
Jacob didn't say anything back. He just watched to see what would happen next.
"Autumn, breathe. In and out. Control the air you breathe to control the air you hold." Spring said softly, taking control of caring for Autumn.
Autumn nodded her head and did what she was told. She breathed in and out through her nose and her mouth, and soon enough the air around her and everyone else calmed and turned into a soft breeze.
"there you go." Spring said with a smile.
Autumn wiped away the tears and smiled back at her. "Thank you."
Spring didnt have her adoptive parents anymore. But she had better. Two sisters that were by her side. And hopefully two more once they finally got a boat in the ocean and out of New Jersey for good.
