Chapter 8: Traveling Seas

"The plan was that two people, Star and Spring, would ask for a boat while Autumn and Jacob waited. Autumn still had a good amount of money left over from her mother, after taking the train. So, they would use that to buy the boat. Hopefully it was enough."

"um why are you talking about yourself in third person Jacob?" Autumn questioned.

"So I can't talk about myself in the third person now." he wondered.

"you know, as long as everyone knows the plan we're fine." Star said, making it all clear.

"okay, then let's do the plan." Spring said, ready to move along with the plan.

"Alright, go to your places." Jacob demanded.

Spring and her half older sister Star walked up to the old man's small shop. Star whispered in her ear "just follow my lead."

There was a window for people who wanted to talk to the owner outside, and on the table top was a bell. Star rang the bell, and after ten minutes of waiting, the man popped out of the dark.

The man looked like the captain of a sea boat and had a bright smile on his face. "Hello wonderful ladies. How may I help you today?"

"Yes my name is Streak, and this here is..." She left the sentence open for Spring to answer. Yet unexpectedly, the man answered instead.

"Spring. And your name isn't Streak, it's Star. But hey, if you want to go by those names, sure." he said, still having a smile on his face.

"um, sir, how did you know our names?" Spring asked.

"Well if you want to know that. Go ask the two others of yours over there to come into my shop." he said pointing to Autumn and Jacob.

They didn't know what to do but followed what he said. All four of them came inside the store, yet they were ready if they were getting ambushed.

"I can tell on all four of your faces that you don't trust me one bit and hope this is some type of joke or game. But you should trust me, and no, this is no type of joke. To answer all your questions, my name is Fedrick. I'm a friend of your father Star." He said moving around the shop, straightening things up.

"You knew my father?" Star said, surprised.

"Yes, I was his helper. The only person who knew about his secret missions and plans was me. I even know about the relationship Kingdom Queen had with The Gardain Of Gems." he said.

"You need to tell me everything you know right now, before I...." Star stopped, not completing her sentence.

"what? Before you kill me? The only thing that can kill me is a bullet to the head. And me knowing everything I know, things you need to know. You won't kill me. Because you wont get the information you need." he said, finally dropping the smile.

Everyone grabbed a chair, sat down, and listened to what he had to say. Yet, none of them trusted him one bit.

"fine, start talking." Star said in a serious tone.

"Well, it all started many years ago. Kingdom Queen and your father had stopped seeing each other. He then started this project called the Four Gem Project. Where he made four magical element gem crystals. Thing is, I was the weapon maker. In charge of making every weapon for each child when they get older." He said, stopping for any questions.

"Well, why wasn't I a part of this project?" Star asked.

"Your father only saw a vision of four girls with amazing elemental powers. Your father wasn't expecting you until your mother, Autumn and Spring, told him that she was pregant." he said staring at Star, Spring and Autumn all at once.

"And how exactly do you know this?" Autumn asked, questioning if they could trust him.

"Because I'm the only one The Gardain of Gems could trust. All of his other helpers would plan to steal his work and use it against him. I was trustworthy." He said with a positive tone.

"Well why were you set here on Earth?" Spring questioned.

"Well, I was sent here when your father was sent here Star. I easdropped in on their conversation when I shouldn't have been. Kingdom King said that if I wanted to joy in the conversation I would join him down on earth too. He gave me till 24 hours till the banshiment to pack my things and get ready." He said.

"So you took the weapons." Autumn whispered to herself.

Yet appparently he could hear her "Yes, and something else." He said, gettting up and walking towards the cashredister.

He opened a secret compartment and held out a blue ocen like necklace for everyone to notice. "I packed this with me too, Seeing that he left it when leaving the planet.

" I...It's the blue necklace." Autumn said in shock.

"Yes, and to be more spicificlly, it's the water elemental crystal." He said walking back over to his spot where he was at before.

" Fine, I believe this story you're telling us. But what does any of this have to do with us going to Hawaii?" Streak asked him.

" Well, whre you're going next, your gonna need a plan to get in and out as fast as possible." He said.

"And I know exactly how we're going to do that." said a familiar voice that Autumn had reconized.

Coming out of the dark was Jason. Not looking like the young boy she had no longer known.
